Great place to relax and enjoy the real Dells. Before all of the water parks, fast food, and tacky t-shirt shops, the Dells was known for its natural beauty along the Wisconsin River. That still exists, although it may take a little effort to find it amidst all of the hideous billboards, and the Cedar Lodge is a great part of that heritage. Located on the river with its own beautiful beach, the property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of it all while still being a short distance from any destination you might want to go to, whether water park or a nature hike Stayed on the second floor of the main building in a vey large room with king bed, two recliners, a pull-out couch, microwave, small fridge, and private balcony with a great view. Finishes are rustic, and place was immaculate. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and much preferred (and cheaper) than the many chains and waterpark resorts. Great location, grounds and views, cabin was just ok. Even in October, the beach was beautiful. We loved that there was a bar/restaurant within walking distance and the drive to the heart of the action was easy and quick. The cabin was perfect for the two of us but may be a little crowded for more than that. A little outdated but comfortable. Very nice deck with a beautiful view of the lake.

Came here with another family. The cabin was very welcoming with our name on it. Checkin was quick and we liked the free passes to Noah's Ark. the pool was fun and beach bonfire. Only issue is regulating the air conditioning in the lower bedrooms

Great customer service and a wonderful lodge type resort. The rooms were very well done with comfy beds. Good location if you are visiting The Dells. We were there for a family reunion and made use of a common area and decks.

The rooms were bigger then i though they would be. and The view was amazing. also very friendly and help full staff. And was nice to let kids swim in the pool and be able to cook dinner at the same time on there paito..

Very comfortable and peaceful here. In my opinion the best mix of location, value, and beautiful surroundings in Wisconsin Dells. 5 minutes from the attractions, but also in the middle of a quiet forested waterfront.

It was average for us at best. We went for the Noah’s ark water park tickets, meaning that we had to shower when we came back every day. We found that in the shower, there were cracks in the floor of the bathtub.

Appreciate you sharing your experience. I wish the stay would have been better than average. We work really hard and do our best. The bath tub does have cracks that have been sealed. Unfortunately, we had 2 contractors back out on us right before the season started. It’s again scheduled to be replaced this fall. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Summer Ryan.

Cedar Lodge and Settlement is our absolute favorite place to be as a family. We’ve stayed here four different times over the years, and keep going back. Chris and his team are second to none. The property is beautiful and well kept and we’ve never had an issue with anything while here. We always get a cabin and it’s just a nice place to come back to after the chaos of water parks, attractions, and downtown. This place is five minutes from everything. Great location, away from the craziness. Thanks for ANOTHER great week Chris!

Very nice lodge with lovely views. We had a second floor king bed which was large with vaulted ceiling. Two recliners faced the sliding doors which made watching the river from inside on a chilly rainy day feel special. Rooms are much nicer than in photos with accent lighting and tasteful eagle decorations throughout. Full size coffee maker and large deck. Very nice property in quiet area with nice outdoor yard area. Much nicer than expected.

If your looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay Cedar Lodge is the place for you! Our family has stayed here before and it never disappoints us. Whether your in a log cabin or a room its the best stay always. While 5 min from the attractions the Lodge seems miles away. A peaceful setting on the WI River. There is always wildlife to be seen. A nightly fire, games pretty much anything you need. The beds are comfortable. Chris and Angie are always ready to assist you and provide an after hours phone number. I highly recommend staying here.
