My husband and I stayed here from July 12-14th. The hotel is recently remodeled so pay attention to the dates on the reviews because I almost passed on this place. The hotel is less than 10min away from all attractions. The hotel's front desk employees were very helpful and polite. The room was very clean. Flat screen tv, firm bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, jacuzzi in room, Indoor/outdoor pool, waterpark passes to Noah's Ark, free breakfast! Restaurants are literally right next to hotel. Parking lot is crowded at night. We definitely will be back I really enjoyed my stay.

Very clean lobby and rooms. Nice décor. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. They were able to check us in promptly (wyndham platinum member). They gave us a free gift of candy and waters. The beds were firm and comfortable. Breakfast area was very spacious with lots of seating. Plenty of variety and hot items also. Definitely will return. We recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights this past week and it was wonderful. We had been to the Alakai last year and liked it, but it was pretty worn. When we saw it had been remodeled and breakfast had been added, we were excited to try it! First impression was that it was very contemporary, crisp and clean. We stayed in a standard double queen room. We were happily surprised by how large the mini fridge was (even included a freezer section) and loved the coffee/microwave space. Plenty of room to make sandwiches for the family and had a great space under the counter for storing food pantry items. I loved that the sink was not in the bathroom, making it much easier for families getting ready in the morning. The vanity lighting was beautiful, although we found there to be a lack of places to hang towels. We hung one from the ironing board that hung on the partition wall next to the vanity as there were no hooks or rails to hold any hand towels. There was also only one hook in the bathroom and no clothesline in the shower. Being in the Dells, where water parks are the main attraction, I think making those additions would go a long way! When Wingate took over they added a complimentary breakfast which was fantastic! Lovely dining hall, biscuits and gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, 2 waffle makers, fresh fruit, oatmeal, toast, cereal, muffins, pastries- I’ve never seen a complimentary breakfast this expansive. Their prices are lower than many of the other comparable hotels, so this was a huge bonus factor for our family budget. You save so much money not having to eat out for breakfast. Included with your stay are free Noah’s Ark passes. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and polite. We laughed a lot about our crazy toddler that liked to escape down the hallways! We were able to make use of both the outdoor pool and indoor pools. The kids area inside was a huge hit for our 6 year old and our 2 year old, and the outdoor pool with it’s 3 slides was a blast as well! Outdoor was a little bit chilly, but what are you going to do? It’s Wisconsin. It was definitely warmer than the water at Noah’s Ark! One minor issue we had was regarding the late check out options. Listed in their welcome packet was a late check out menu. For $4.99 you could check out at 12:30 and for $9.99 you could check out at 2. We wanted to choose the latest check out option, but were told it wasn’t available as they had groups coming in. That’s completely understandable, but it did require us to change our day plans around. Not the kind of thing that would make us upset, and they were very nice about it, but they may want to include something like “subject to availability” in the packet so people know it isn’t always an option. All in all, it was a fantastic trip and we’ll definitely return!

The hotel was recently redone and looks very nice. Everything is crisp and new. The staff at the desk were extremely courteous and professional. The issues with the cleaning weren't all that bad, I just want to mention so that they may see and do more training. There was s splotch (like dried dirty water or something) on the ceramic tile at the entry which must not have been noticed as it was there when we arrived and when we left. The beds were made nicely at the changeover but the replacement items were odd. We received 4 new conditioners but no shampoo. There were not the same number of towels replaced as were used ( this would make it hard to keep track of them, I would think). A new box of tissue was left but we had a pretty full one there already. The coffee maker was not cleaned up, as I am used to from other places. Otherwise, very good.
