We were happy with the cleanliness and overall condition of this house. The beds were comfortable, and the covered deck was quite nice. But, we were disappointed with the amenities. It is advertised as being able to sleep 14 (5 queen beds and two fold out sofas). The living room had seating for only 5 people. There was one coffee table and a small bookcase, and nothing else. The dining room had seating for only six. The kitchen had a nice refrigerator and microwave; but the stove didn’t seem to heat adequately. The only other appliance was a four cup coffee maker. Four cups! No toaster or anything else. Including no pots, pans, bakeware, plates, glasses, coffee cups, tableware, knives, cooking utensils, etc. we did find out that we could go to the office and get a tub with some pots and pans, but nothing else. So the first thing we had to do was find a store so we could stock up on supplies - an unexpected expense. The website gives no warning that these items are not supplied. Our family had a fun weekend, but next time we’ll stay somewhere else.…
This resort reminds me of good times at lake cabins as a boy. The room was clean, comfortable, and had separate bedrooms for each guest. Clem was kind enough to have the room ready prior to normal check in time since I was arriving early.
This is a beautiful location. We loved the cabins. The property owner/manager was very accommodating to our questions and needs. We would recommend to anyone wanting a Midwest vacation in a beautiful town. We will most definitely return!
I have to say that I absolutely love this place. I have been here several times. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are gorgeous for the price. The staff is extremely accommodating. And overall just a really great feel. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone coming to visit the Dells. Just a few minute drive from all the main attractions. And let’s not forget the lake itself. Minutes away from the Wisconsin river for the fishermen.
This is our go to spot in the Dells. Just recently they renovated the rooms. It’s beautiful. You can’t ask for a better location, just minutes away from all of the attractions. it was too cold to swim this time, but the fishing was great. The beach is beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!
BE AWARE**** Everything this owner posts is false advertisement. The pictures and description of his resort houses are a deceiving lie. The particular villa we stayed in was run down (exposed wires and nails, and mold ). Also advertised Noah’s ark tickets Which after we paid he stated “ we haven’t done that in years” Additionally after repeatedly asking the owner to address the same group of people who kept using our “private beach”” a gentleman from that same group became belligerent screaming and swearing IN FRONT IF OF MY TWO AND FOUR YEAR OLD as he refused to leave our space that we paid for and we were promised. At that time I no longer felt that my family was safe and had to leave. I requested the owner reimburse us and he refused. This owner is a con artist and a fraud. Take your business elsewhere.…
I have been to a Delton Oaks a total of three times. Once with kids once with friends and once just me and my husband. This resort was perfect for all three occasions. It’s right on beautiful Lake Delton just steps away from your room or villa. Many units have grills. The beach is beautiful and clean. There are a few fishing piers we caught lots of fish on. They have pontoon rentals for a fee and complementary kayak rentals. The rooms are very nice with great appliances. I’ve noticed that they’ve been making improvements and remodeling the last couple times. My absolute favorite thing was sitting at the fire pit right on the lake at night while my husband fished off the pier. There is a lot of wildlife around the resort adding to its beauty. The kids loved feeding the ducks. The location, you can’t beat. There are so many attractions and great restaurants within a five minute drive. All in all, a great experience every time. Special thank you to the owner for being so accommodating to our specific wants and needs. Can’t wait to go back!…
Love this little out of the way resort. Their lake views boost the best sunrises and water colored sunset...staff is great, Michelle and Clem take pride in this family run business! Special events like taco fest and weekly singers provide adult fun while their laid back pool keeps the kiddoes busy! Dog friendly too and the comfiest beds you will ever find!
Had a fun girls trip and stayed in the 6 person cabin. Newly renovated kitchen which was very nice. Loved the screened in porch where we played board games at night. The 2 bedrooms were small but adequate for a comfortable stay. Cabin was overall nice and close to the lake so it was easy for my elderly mother to enjoy! My daughter and I enjoyed the free amenities of paddling boarding and kayaking! We also rented a pontoon boat for a very reasonable price! The owner was very nice and very accommodating! There was a nice fire pit and swimming pool here which we didn’t use this trip. The cabin was in a great location that was very close to everything in the Dells. We look forward to coming back to the Dells and will stay at Delton Oaks Resort again!
Do not stay here . This place is a dump . It’s disgusting. The photos on the website do not do it justice . The photos must be 10 years old. The owner is a jerk . The pool is tiny and the chairs and loungers there must be from 20 years ago . I feel sorry for the staff , they try hard the place is unreal .
