I was giving this a shot after reading recent reviews, and although the hotel was clean and the beds were nice the experience was terrible and frustrating. When we arrived we were told the lazy river area was down, which basically left the splash pad and hot tub for use. The manager said she would wave the resort fee. What resort fee? wasn't listed on reservation site or my confirmation. So basically if was a hot tub full of children. then she said she needed to place a hold on my card for a 50$ deposit. Again never mentioned in reservation or on confirmation. Sunday morning went to use the water area which was not opened, called the front desk and was told they are only opened Friday and Saturdays, the General manager stated this was in the confirmation email and posted on website and all third party booking sites and I have sense reviewed my confirmation, their website, and TripAdvisor which states the indoor waterpark is opened seven days a week. Not a upfront establishment

I stayed here with a bus tour and initially I thought the exterior of the place looked like something out of a horror film (flaking paint, overgrown shrubs, tall weeds everywhere.) To be fair, it was also dark out and raining heavily when we arrived. The interior halls did not inspire confidence either -- they looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks and there was obvious wear and tear to the walls. Then I got to my room. It was freezing. Others in the group complained of the same thing or of other problems with their rooms. So why the favorable review? When we got back from supper, the heat was fixed. And I found the room was actually pretty well updated -- it appeared to have new flooring, fresh paint and curtains, clean linens and plenty of clean towels. Some of the furniture was a little dated but everything looked clean except for the slightly dusty clock radio which looked like it had seen better days. The indoor water park was not open during our midweek stay but I think most of us were only interested in a clean place to crash for the night. Breakfast was decent -- there were a few selections of fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt, coffee, English muffins, and granola bars. Since I stayed with a tour I don't know what the price was but I suspect it was really reasonable. For a better initial impression they should at least weed and tidy up the areas around the sign and main entrance, maybe set out some pots of flowers to show guests they're working on the appearance. And vacuum the halls. Just a little effort tidying the areas that people initially see would go a long way to assuring guests that they will have a pleasant room awaiting them.

the room was nice but the outside pool area was closed down and the inside pool area had really nothing for adults to do and they had the jaccuzi shut down so we couldnt get in that plus it was very hot up near 100 degrees this past weekend. The outside out room on the patio and around it was filthy and needed cleaned up. then when we go to take a shower in the morning there was no wash clothes so we had to use a hand towel.

Very run down and dirty. The floors were dirty and dusty. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. The shower was dirty. The toilet seat was broken. The sink was clogged and slow draining. The TV did not work. Housekeeping did not come when requested. With so many visibly dirty and broken items in the room, it made us nervous how well the room was sanitized between guests. Overall, a really uncomfortable stay.

I know this place doesn’t have the greatest reviews but I took a gamble on it and it worked out. We booked for 2 nights in one of the cheap hotel style rooms so that we could get the free Noah’s Ark passes. On our first night, we found that our AC wasn’t working properly. A maintenance worker came right away and confirmed that it wasn’t working. Within a few minutes, the front desk called my cell phone and said that they were moving us to a new room. Because we are a family of 5, it was actually 2 rooms that were suites. They weren’t able to get us connecting rooms but we didn’t care. It was a very nice upgrade and the rooms were very comfortable and updated nicely. It is a little rough looking on the outside and we did not try their pool area at all, but overall it wound up being a good experience for us. The service we received was very good.

Boy oh boy where do I begin. As my partner and I happily prepared for our trip to the dells we unfortunately picked this overblown smelly brown stained hotel to stay in. As we walk into our room a pungent odor filled the air like something had died in there, I dare say the bed sheets had likely not been washed in weeks as we found critters dead in the room some of which appeared to be roaches. I thought me and my partner were going to get the real dells experience and boy was I wrong as I felt like I had arrived at a trap house in east Atlanta. I’ve seen some of the other reviews on this place so let me just say that the chump manager should save his foolhardy helpless response to me and take it like I took his hotel (sick to my stomach).

Website should entail biggest catfish in the Midwest. Driving in felt like a horror film. The dump smelled, there was critters running around, and I stopped in something strange and brown in the lobby. I woke up with a bug bite for Christ’s sake. This was supposed to be a vacation, not a tour of the Amazon. Interior has not been updated since 1992. Oh, and whoever the manager is responding to these reviews, save your breath. You’re a liar and a coward.

Will defiantly never stay here again. Had to ask front desk multiple times for pans for the suite we had. no cooking utensils. kitchen light would not work asked for someone to come fix it and no one showed. paid through hotels.com and when we paid they took out the resort fee. get my bank statement and they charged me again. called the hotel to question it and the guy who answered did not care one bit. told me more or less too bad. we picked this place based off the web page. showed a fully running waterpark. get there and the waterpark is closed and has not been open as of this year. only part that was open was the indoor kiddie pool. hot tub was even closed down. hallways had paint peeling, construction still going on through out the hotel. the staff in the morning were very uncaring or concerned of our issues.

We gave this place a chance despite our uneasy feelings as we pulled into the parking lot. This place should be closed until it is worthy of taking money from patrons. The pictures are very very old as the facility looks nothing like the photos online. We purchased an upgraded suite. There was a strange odor as soon as you entered the room. None of the lights worked in the bedroom. After waiting over a hour, Maintenance never came so we just put the kids to bed. The toilet ran all night. In the morning we saw roaches run across the table. Immediately checked out early. Never received an invoice. Was told we would be refunded for the second night and given a 25% credit for the first night. We never receive the 25% credit. I had to go back to the resort to get my refund for the second night because they never gave it to me.

This place is in Dire need of complete renovation. The outside of the place looks as if it has been neglected for years. It gave me a very uneasy feeling. I did not feel safe. We had booked for 2 nights but we checked out first thing the next morning. The balcony to our room looked totally unsafe and the sliding door lock did not work …which really made me uneasy. They charge a lot of money for a rundown place . It is nothing like the pictures online. None of the pools have water in them. Then when we checked out I asked for my invoice and the guy said we will email it to you after we check your room ( are you kidding me?) I never have received the invoice and when I checked my Credit card they had charged me for 2 nights which I had to email and phone several times toget corrected. Then to make matters worst, they charge you a$60 resort fee!!!! But there is No resort! I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I am giving you fair warning !
