We stayed in the palace suite. It looks much more updated in pics. Although the typical areas (sink, shower) looked clean, the bathroom floors were likely not even washed as there was chunks of hair in the corners. Shower caulk was molding and the carpet was very stained and gross looking. The carpet around the wet bar was moldy, especially right in front of the mini-fridge (which didn't even close correctly) and was probably not vacuumed. Or at least not well. There was a lot of hair on our linens- in every bed and on the hand towel that was hanging. The aux cable for the DVD player was broken as well. Little kids thought the round bed was awesome, teenagers thought for sure inappropriate things took place on it 🤣 the ceiling was so thin were afraid the family of elephants above us would fall right through the soft spot of previous water damage. Pools were nice, and the included Noah's Ark and Tomfoolery passes made this stay worth it. Employees were very accommodating and friendly.

Positives first Clean sheets. Extra pillows. Plenty of towels. Kids liked the in- resort “water activity” on the 4th floor. You practically need a gas mask to deal with the chlorine smell. Luggage cart is pointless as there are stairs within every floor. Shower and bathroom pretty awful- like a one star motel level. Negatives Very dirty baseboards and scratches and Marks everywhere/ iron Burn on the carpet. Chairs on balcony were dirty. Walls are paper thin and you can hear kids running around on floor above you at all hours. Pool upstairs was dirty. Kids got out right away and had to give my daughter eye drops they were so blood shot after an hour of being in the water. Location is great. Bar was closed . Creepy Ariel mascot. Hidden gem is “grateful shed” a block away. Lady working the front desk was pleasant.

First off, this is NOT A WATERPARK, but a HOTEL with ACTIVITY POOLS- which IS what I personally was looking for, but the name can be deceiving. This is geared towards little kids up to 8, older kids get bored fast. The arcade is that of points for a prize- there was about 2 actual games to play, and a few claw-rip-off games, the rest are spin the wheel type for points on a card that you purchase. We stayed on the first floor, I don't mind a parking lot view if we're not in the room all day, but 1st FLOOR IS SEMI-UNDERGROUND, so I was irritated that our view was of vehicle tires and cigerette butts from the floors above. The beds are ok, but the pillows go flat- sheets were clean and not scratchy. The restaurant is closed, but they're happy to tell you you can get delivery from all the area restaurants, since theirs is closed due to Covid- their bar&food is in the pool area anyways- there is no breakfast, not even a takeaway bag of a muffin & banana- but THE PROBLEM IS THE AREA RESTAURANTS WONT ANSWER THEIR PHONE for takeout orders or delivery (they only serve walk-ins -only a HANDFUL accept reservations (mainly $$$$) & they are ALL understaffed). My son is handicapped so we cannot wait at a restaurant for AN HOUR BEFORE getting seated & we called 4-5 places each day/night during our 2-night stay, knowing they were OPEN with NO answer (Wed&Thurs, not the weekend!). We ended up having to get gathered & into the car & leave to drivethrus for each meal (we very rarely eat fast food so I was not thrilled about Arby's, KFC & McD's (gut rot for 2 days) + 3X our order was missing something & we had to park & go in after a 15+ minute wait/drivethru.) The only place we ever got through to was Pizza Hut, with an 1hr&15 for delivery of less than mediocre pizza.

My husband and I wanted to get out of town for a few days and booked here in one of the suits. As soon as we walked in there was an unused musty smell. Granted we booked in the middle of January but the room was freezing and had to turn the heat up to almost 80 to get the room warm enough and the heater had to run almost constantly. The room overall was clean but there were marks all over the walls and the baseboards were dirty. The bed was not very comfortable and seemed to have a big indent in the middle. Half the room was very modern while the other half looked outdated. The walls are paper thin and you could hear people in the rooms next door and you could hear kids running up and down the halls on the floor above at all hours of the night. The staff was very nice to leave fresh towels and amenities outside the room every day. The whirlpool tub was clean and worked like a dream. While there were some nice things about this hotel we will not stay again.
