This was my first time camping ever and staying here made it so much better! Nice facilities, very friendly staff, and beautiful area. Many reviews complained about unfriendly staff, but as long as the camp rules are followed, there is no reason to worry. Will definitely stay here again.

This will be my second review of this lovely campground. My family stayed here over memorial day weekend. Everything was great! I love the rules and even better they are enforced!!! This summer i have stayed at other campgrounds around the county and this is my favorite one to relax with my family. We really enjoy being able to here...

Been camping many years, at many camp grounds and find this is our favorite. If you are the whoop howling brawling camper, this isn't the place for you. We love the safe family feel, great fishing and swimming lake. They have a wonderful beach, park and play ground for the kids. Safety rules are high on a list for good...

Spent a couple of nights at the campground and had a nice stay. Sites are level and near the lake. Lake is private so you can fish it without a license if you are staying there. Is about a 30-35 minute drive to outskirts of Milwaukee, much longer depending on traffic to get to Miller Park or downtown. 5 or...

Camped here soon after they opened for the season. Our site was lakefront and very quiet. Other campers we met were very friendly as was the staff in the office. We'd definitely camp here again. We camped in a fifth wheel travel trailer.

The owner/mgr of this place is downright mean. Visiting this place once was one too many times. He is extremely rigid and has absolutely NO people skills whatsoever. The rules are the rules are the rules and if you break them....watch out!

When reading some of the negative reviews, I'm quite frankly shocked. My partner and I, including our two boys who are 7 and 9 recently stayed at Lake Lenwood and had an amazing time. I will agree with other reviews that state if you are looking to party it up, this is not the campground for you. It's definitely family...

In my search for a campground near milwaukee I chose lake lenwood in west bend, Wisconsin. Bad choice! The management had rules for rules! They charged us for anything we did in addition to our campsite. Management had a very hostile approach to paying customers. Visitors had to pay but still not able to take vehicle past the entrance but...

My sister and I just took our kids (ages 3-7) to camp overnight at Lake Lenwood. We had an awesome time. The lake is clean and the water crystal clear. The camp site was clean and the bathrooms were really clean. The management were super friendly and helpful. We will be going back every year. I would highly recommend Lake...

“Try for a lake site - fantastic! The only thing you need to watch out for is weather...it had rained all week before we got there, so it was fairly saturated closer to the lake, but the ground is loamy, so it's not as messy...still wouldn't have traded for anything else! lol Just wish I would have packed better shoes!”

“If you are camping in a tent and not a camper with its own bathroom, ask for a site closer to the bathroom--especially if you have small children with you.”
