Detailed Reviews
We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Caribbean. In fact, we are three states away from being in all fifty. This hotel is one of the best planned and run that we have ever stayed in! The check in agent was busy on a work related call but managed to check us in so we didn’t have to wait. The room was spotless and smelled very clean. The bed was oriented facing the window which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before. Rather enjoyed that. Very comfortable pillows, two seemed to be feather. An honest to goodness nightlight was provided in the bathroom instead of nothing or a green glowing panel. The floor to ceiling sliding glass door in the shower insured no fighting with a curtain to keep water off the floor. Nicely arranged bathmat to look like a butterfly. Speaking of the shower, how nice the have the water control on the opposite wall from the shower head so you don’t get sprayed with cold water. A nice big shower also. PLENTY of outlets and USB fast charging ports in the room also, much appreciated! Well appointed gym. The breakfast room in the morning was well designed with tvs on several walls so no matter which way you faced, made for easy viewing. The breakfast among other things consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns and nice crisp bacon. Muffins, waffles, breads etc made for a breakfast to please anyone. All well serviced and maintained by staff. USA Today was provided both downstairs and by the elevator on the floors. Ample parking and walking distance from a Walgreens and restaurants. Right across the the State Fairgrounds also. All in all, congratulations to the management and a place we will definitely stay at again should we find ourselves in Milwaukee!

Hotel's Favorite
We have stayed at this Hampton numerous times and have always enjoyed it. Just prior to this visit we had experienced gale force winds on the Lake Express ferry. We were tired by the time we arrived. Pavo is always friendly and charming. This evening we headed to Bar West. In addition to the always friendly Marlene, we met a wonderful young man named Micah W. He has excellent rapport with the customers and took the time to really have a great conversation with us. What an Outstanding employee and human being. Micah, I sure hope you are working on our next visit 🏨

We were coming to town for the Milwaukee Brewers game and chose this hotel b/c of location. The hotel is literally less than 5 minutes from American Family Field and it's an easy drive there. We requested early check in and though the front desk couldn't guarantee it when I called that morning, there was a room ready when we arrived. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a sofa bed for our 7-year old. The pool is a bit small with a max depth of 4'6" BUT is enough to entertain a child. The complimentary hot breakfast had a good variety of food that was tasty. The attendants were working very hard to keep food stocked and maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area. All in all, I can't say enough positive things about our stay and we'll definitely be back!

1st impression, The hallway on the our floor smelled like a Hospice. I’m not exaggerating, it was not a good smell. I highly suggest carpet fresh or something to cover up whatever chemicals you use. There wasn’t a microwave in the room which is inconvenient and it was hard to find fridge that was completely turned off and we had to put out the fridge of the cupboard to find out how to turn it on. The sliding barn door to the bathroom/ closet was very heavy and awkward to use, there is no privacy you can hear everything that is going on in there, so I hope you love the person you are sharing the room with, otherwise you will now know all their bathroom habits like it or not. I had just seen on another poster’s comments about the sliding bathroom doors that management wants to say MOST Hotels are doing sliding doors now...but that doesn’t make it a good idea. The pool was why we chose to stay there, and it seemed very over-chlorinated, my eyes burned seconds after we got into the pool room, we were not even in the pool yet! I know it has to by at a certain level, but I could definitely tell the difference. But, It’s not all bad news, the breakfast was good and the beds were pretty comfortable. The room was clean and the location was convenient. If I HAD to go back I would, but I wouldn't be very happy about it. I guess now I wait for the management to post on here to tell me how my opinions are wrong.

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about your experience. I was sorry to hear about the inconveniences that you experienced during your visit with us. Most of them were complaints that I have not heard from other guests, so it is good to have your perspective as well, since no hotel is one size fits all. We will be sure to address those inconveniences, for our future guests. The next time you’re in town, I hope you will give us another try.

I stayed 2 nights, and decided to stay a 3 nights and text the desk on there, mobile app, they said no problem, just stop by front desk, and get my digital key redone, since it would expire at check out time. I thought I would be charged for the 3rd day, (cheaper) for the more days a person stays. But No, I was charged the amount for a 1 night stay. I mean it wasn’t prime time, it was a Sunday night I added, I don’t think it was fair for that charge. I’m not a high ranking member, I don’t travel for work. But when I do travel,I always use Hampton. I usually get a deluxe room or a suite. I hope they correct this. I filled out a survey and mentioned this, we will see if anything is done about it. I Love staying at the Hampton. I hope they correct the problem, or I will probly look for somewhere else to stay. I have always enjoyed the Hampton. I hope very much, this is a clerical mistake, and can be corrected. I mean I was charged for one nights amount. The second night I was charged $ 50 dollars less, but for the night I added, I was charged the original 1 night price.

Surprisingly, for it's location next to State Fair park and in West Allis, it competes with 5 star hotels, IMHO. Bed comfortable, lots of pillows, and everything worked! Heat, TV, water pressure, doors, lights. It was quiet, despite my room being next to the elevator on the 4th floor.
Most profoundly, it was literally the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Not a dot of dirt in corners, near the furniture, spotless.
And the breakfast competes with $15 restaurant ones. I stayed 3 days, and had Denver Omelets 2 days, plus pork sausage or bacon, fried potatoes that were actually fried. Yogurt, 2% milk, oatmeal, toast, bagels and cream cheese plus several other toppings like peanut butter, jellies, etc. and four kinds of bottomless juices--my fav is the cranberry. Restaurants seldom do bottomless juice in the mornings.
For only $120 a night, you can't do better. I mean it, literally can't do better if you want comfortable, quiet sleep, a decent-size bathroom, and everything works as expected.

Your feedback is very much appreciated. I am so happy that you enjoyed your recent visit with us. I will be sharing this positivity with our housekeeping team at our next meeting. They have a bar here! The food was good. I would like to have more non-pork options for breakfast.
For breakfast, they have this mango puree calling it mango juice: don't do it! You are welcome.
Staff was friendly, helpful and complete delight. I recommend this hotel.

One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was the advertised free shuttle to and from Brewers games. Unfortunately, we were told the shuttle was not available to take us to the game on 6/22. It also was not available to pick us up after that game. The following afternoon, we were able to ride the shuttle TO the game, but we waited at the pickup spot after the game for 45 minutes and eventually took an Uber instead.
So instead of being able to use the advertised free shuttle, we had to spend money on Uber three out of the four rides. This was disappointing, considering the rather high price of the hotel room.

Rooms were clean, safe and updated. Staff unwelcoming, rude, condescending. Was there for a wedding, when the party and family were coming back from the venue we were making sure everyone was arriving safely. We were not causing a scene or being loud but a staff member was basically shooing us back into the elevator which left us feeling uncomfortable and unwanted at the hotel. When all we were trying to do was make sure our family and friends were back safe and getting up to their rooms or to see if they needed help carrying anything in.

Clean, comfortable, and cost effective!
The staff Showed the Hampton hospitality (which is impeccable)Located by the State Fair off season there’s nothing around. Breakfast in the box was the best they could do with the Covid-19 restrictions. There was only one blend of coffee and it was light. Luckily there’s a McDonald’s two parking lots away My room on the fourth floor had a refrigerator and a remote for the blinds my sister on the third floor did not
I would recommend this hotel

Yes. Very prompt service. Worked out well for our group.
No just pool
There are no two room suites. However the hotel has the possibility of adjoining rooms as well as large one bedroom suites available.
Unfortunately the shuttle does not go as far as the airport. The hotel shuttle goes to and from many different local attractions within a three mile radius. The Milwaukee County Zoo, Pottawatomie Casino, State Fair Grounds, several malls, and the many local restaurants and corporate locations.
I am now a repeat guest at the Hampton Inn and will be staying there again in a few weeks. I have ot used their banquet facilities but I hve been pleased with their other facilities and their customer service.
