Perfect location near Froeftert hospital we needed a place to stay the night before surgery. We loved our stay very nice suite with full kitchen and sitting area. Bed was very comfortable and walk in shower was huge!! Very clean and staff was helpful and pleasant.
Every time we visit this hotel, which is generally a couple/three times a year, the staff is consistently accommodating and so friendly! Very glad to see the breakfast back - thank you! I needed triple A batteries for my wireless mouse and they came through - soooo happy!
Unfortunately, although this property has some nice rooms, it is a crap shoot regarding whether or not you get a nice room. With this being my second visit to the hotel, I was extremely disappointed. Upon my first visit, I was met by a very welcoming and accommodating staff, whose sole desire was to guarantee the customer’s satisfaction and comfort. Not so this time. The first time I arrived in the afternoon, the second time in the evening. The evening desk agent didn’t greet me, and appeared to be more interested in listening to his music than helping a guest. The guy was unkempt with dirty fingernails and didn’t seem to understand the basics of assigning rooms to women traveling alone. The first room I was assigned to was filthy d worn. The refrigerator had obviously not been cleaned, as evidenced by all the sticky fingerprints, the upholstery was torn, and the wood chipped and scuffed. When I asked for another room, I was placed at the end of the hall near a stairwell. I finally got a female manager to assign a room that looked good, but was next to some loud pump. It sounded like a sump pump that was going bad. They also watered down the amenities. At least The manager was polite, unlike the clerk. Afterwards, every time I re-entered the hotel, the male clerk would proceed to make sarcastic remarks to me although I would ignore him. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to women traveling alone. The hostile behavior of the clerk was frightening and that’s something no one wants to deal with in a city that already has a high crime rate and the rooms are hit or miss.…
We stayed here with our dog. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. One of the staff even gave our dog a treat. The room was amazingly spacious with a comfortable couch and a kitchen stocked with basic supplies. Ample free parking. Room was quiet. Also, the fan could run constantly if you chose, which we enjoyed for white noise. Basic internet was free although was unsecured and slightly slow. The main concern we had was cleanliness. Two pillow cases had things on them (smudge, unidentifiable smear) and while we could have asked for replacements, we just chose not to use them. The couch had some stains and hair from other dogs. Glasses in the cupboard required rewashing. Some walls/baseboards were dirty. Just an assumption on my part, but it seemed like we had a “dog room” that perhaps was not cleaned quite as well. However, the bathroom was clean. Overall though we would stay here again!…
While we initially booked a hotel in downtown MKE, I'm really happy that we relocated to Tosa. We used it has home base as we explored the city doing many different things. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was nice having a kitchenette where we could store perishables and heat our food. I know we could ask the front desk for additional supplies, but it would be nice if they stored at least an additional roll of TP and kleenex in the room. The vent for the AC was pointed at the right side of the bed. It was too bad that it wasn't directed towards the middle of the room. Parking is free and I appreciated the large parking lot. We also took advantage of the side entrance (protected with key swipe entry). This avoided us going through the front lobby and walking clear across the property. If you want breakfast on the weekend, you have to preorder it by 10:00 p.m. the night before. Items like muffins, fruit, oatmeal packets and cereal bars are available.…
If you need to stay near the hospital and/or Tosa, this is the place. The rooms are large and clean. This Residence Inn is pretty new and very modern. There is a huge park near the property if you want to take a walk. The front desk staff was helpful and breakfast was provided in a bag format so one could return to their room.
My wife and I stayed here for the Milwaukee Irishfest and took advantage of the package the hotel and festival offered. It was a great deal at a reasonable price. We are so glad we chose this hotel, as there were other choices with similar package deals. Our room was absolutely amazing. A full kitchen, separate living area and bedroom, and also a separate bathroom. The room was large and comfortable, and clean. The bed was so very comfortable! We were there for three days, and the staff was amazing. There was a complimentary grab and go breakfast with hot items we could warm up in our rooms. I asked for extra pillows and they were waiting for us when we arrived on our first night. There was a salt water pool that we really wanted to try, but it closed too early, as our nights at the festival went late. The only thing I might ask the hotel to do is expand the pool hours, which are shortened due to COVID (but why??). We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.…
Stayed two nights here on a weeknight. Service was super friendly. Victor at the front desk was always cheerful and accommodating. Housekeeping did a great job on preparing the room and the AC worked like a champ. Love the fact it is quiet all around so a good nights rest was achieved each night.
Clean, new property in close proximity to hospitals, highways, and shopping. Excellent breakfast in the morning with new choices each day. Board games in the lobby, a basketball court, pool, bbq grills and fire pit. Rooms have all the amenities you would need. Given the comfort of the rooms and property, friendliness of the staff, and great location, this might be my new favorite spot in MKE.
We stayed the night here on our way to Door County. We got in late and we were hungry. Brittany at the front desk told us a great place to eat and how to get there. When we got in our room, we were pleased to find a kitchen complete with stovetop and stainless steel appliances. Our tv had Netflix on it, all we had to do was log on. There was a comfortable pit couch and an office area. The bed was big and comfy and the room and entire hotel was very clean. Our bathroom had a walk-in glass walled shower. Outside there was a basketball court and an entertainment pit with a gas grill. They also had a nice indoor salt water pool, but we got in too late to use it. The entire facility is only a couple years old and very clean. The staff is really friendly and we loved staying there. Also the beds had reading lights which were a nice touch as I read before bed and stay up later than my girlfriend. I recommend this property to anyone headed to Milwaukee/Wauwatosa. …
