This was our third stay. New owners, new experience. The biggest problem were the linens. We cannot tolerate Bounce fabric softener and that is what the bed linens were treated with. Unbearable. Please use unscented laundry treatments! The pillows were lumpy, hard rocks! What happened to the other pillows? Linens at a B & B should be of top quality...

Thank you very much for your review. It is very helpful. Yes we are new owners however we have not changed anything in the bed and breakfast. We have not changed the pillows, linens or furniture. Everything is as it was when the previous owners owned it. In regards the back stairs they were not serviced by the previous owners....

Very nice with newer owners. Relaxing atmosphere with very comfortable beds and good breakfast. The common areas were not the cleanest, with boxes and items stacked around and floor dirt, but everyone's tolerance for those things is different. The rates were good so we were satisfied all in all and I would expect the new owners will figure out that...

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! When I first drove up I thought what a beautiful place then i stepped through the door and it was amazing. The new innkeepers were very nice and welcoming. The house has so many cool things about it. The history that the innkeeper told me was amazing. The breakfast was outstanding the French toast is to...

As a previous guest of this inn, I was aware that a change of ownership was happening. Unfortunately, it was not a change for the better. One night - all night - there was a horrible smell throughout the house and in the morning, the owner had her work papers spread all over the usual breakfast area. There were no...

This is a beautiful historic home that is tucked away near downtown without all of the traffic with Angelo's Pizza just blocks away. it's very clean and spacious. Lori is a wonderful cook who pays attention to those with special diets and has a warm personality. Dave seems quiet at first, but knowledgeable about the history of the home and...

Lori and Dave welcome you like family into their grand, historic Wasau home. Rooms are inviting and filled with antique furniture and collected historic objects. Located in a quiet, historic, residential neighborhood, just a few blocks from downtown shops and restaurants. Exceptionally friendly service. On our arrival, Dave gave us a concise and very useful orientation, and called local restaurants...

An overnight stay in Wausau became our destination while on a mini vacation! We had stopped at a chain hotel in Wasau and wanted a quieter part of town where we could ride our bikes. Called the everest Inn and immediately knew we had found our place to stay sight unseen! Lori's funn attitudetold us we were in for an...

I appreciated how the hosts, Dave and Lori, opened their home and treated their guests like friends. We had great conversation in the evening and around the breakfast table. It was a treat to stay in one of the many historic homes in the area. Everest Inn in located in a beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to many locations.

We stayed for two days at Everest Inn in the basement Yawkey Suite. It was perfect for my family of four. Lori and David were very helpful in planning our family adventures during our stay. They told us about many parks, the art museum, an automated dairy barn, a really good pizza joint and they pulled out maps, addresses, visitor...
