This was our 2nd stay here in 2 years. As always the owner is warm and gracious, even with the additional restrictions put on them by covid. The food is amazing and she had our room ready with a surprise birthday cake for my husband. Next time we come back itll be in spring or summer!

It was nice to see you both again as you celebrated a milestone birthday! Glad he liked the cake! We are grateful for our repeat guests and we hope you continue to make memories here in Waupaca and at the Apple Tree Lane B&B. Each season holds its own magic, but everyone has to hit spring/summer. The beauty and enjoyment of the warm weather and our parks, lakes and rivers is special. See you soon and keep well, safe, and happy! All the best, Kerri

It was nice to see you again and I was happy to meet your friends who stayed too. With this pandemic, people want to know if they travel, health and safety is top-of-mind, If you do not feel comfortable, you will not travel. We work hard here at the Apple Tree Lane B&B, as the well-being of our guests is important. We implemented "A Safer Way To Stay" and it is on our website to view it. We are a small inn, so crowds, elevators, etc are not something you have to deal with. With over 7 acres and river frontage, there is plenty of open space, natural beauty and fresh air. Waupaca is the perfect getaway, as this quaint, historic and naturally beautiful area as lakes, rivers, 22-spring-fed chain o lakes and Hartman Creek State Park if hiking, biking, paddling or exploring is of interest. Plenty of specialty shopping, casual restaurants (yes outdoor sitting) or get take out and bring back to the Inn. You can always look forward to a homemade breakfast and we love to use seasonal products: apples, cranberries, and pumpkin top the list for the autumn. Thank you again for your kind review and we hope to see you all back in the not-to-distant future. Stay well, Kerri

Excellent bed & breakfast. Our room was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. The grounds of the Inn are beautiful. The weather wasn't great during our stay but we did get in at least one walk to the river. Kerri was an exceptional host who was able to answer all of our questions and give some excellent and honest recommendations on local restaurants. We would highly recommend Apple Tree Land B&B. If only we could control the weather!? We have a better chance of getting the deer to come up from our 400 ft of beautiful Crystal River frontage to greet our guests!??! Regardless, and truly, Waupaca is a great destination in all seasons, rain or shine. I am glad you had a chance between raindrops to explore our historic 7 acres and the river. We all need a little peace and tranquility and we are pleased you found it here. We love to share the best of Waupaca with you, and our restaurants, shopping scene and attractions are always a hit with our guests. Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review and we hope to see you both back soon! Stay safe, well and happy! All the best, Kerri, Owner/Innkeeper, Apple Tree Lane Bed & Breakfast, Waupaca, WI

Apple Tree Lane B & B proves that it is absolutely possible to stay elsewhere other than our home and still be as safe as possible during this pandemic.. My husband and I desperately needed a couple days away, and when I contacted Kerri at Apple Tree, she reviewed all the ways Apple Tree B & B was taking precautions. This included always maintaining a 6 foot distance, even during breakfast, lots of hand sanitizer very visible, and a very clean room and bathroom. Face masks were required of everyone when outside their room. We felt completely comfortable and not at all worried about the virus, which in itself was a break. I have many food allergies, and Kerri cheerfully created delicious breakfasts for me. When she asked, "Can you have sliced apples sauteed in butter and cinnamon?" I knew we had come to the right place. To top it off, the apple was from one of the trees on the property, which had been an orchard and dairy farm in the past. We stayed in the Crystal Cove Suite, which was beautifully appointed and offered both a window air conditioner AND a gas fireplace for the warm fall days and the crisp, cold fall nights. Kerri knows so much about the area, and she made many recommendations about where to eat (yes, we were able to bring food back to the B & B for lunch and dinner), and where to find the freshest apple pie. My husband and I felt very welcome and relaxed, ending our visit to Apple Tree by gazing at the "Miracle Tree," a 125 year old apple tree that appears to be mostly hollow, but continues to bear apples every other year. Many thanks to Kerri for being the perfect hostess!

Thank you so very much for staying with us and your kind review. We are so glad you felt safe, comfortable and welcomed! We are also happy that you enjoyed our breakfasts. During the autumn, it is fun to create breakfast recipes using the season's best: apples (from the orchards), cranberry (cranberry and white chocolate scones is a favorite), pears (fresh pear and rum soaked raisin crepes with real whip cream is a special treat), pumpkins (pumpkin cream cheese muffins is often made and simply delicious) and more. We were happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and appreciated the heads-up prior to your arrival, so we could prepare. Our Waupaca area is a wonderful place to come for tranquility, peace, pristine land/water and plenty of adventure (as you choose) in all seasons. All the time, but especially during this pandemic, it is good to get-away where fresh air and nature is abundant and beautiful.! We love to share "INN-SIDER Tips" and we are glad you found them right on the money! Thanks again and come back soon!

We found the B&B online and read the reviews. We were truly impressed with the location, fantastic food, and the greatest hosts. We were very comfortable and had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. The property is gorgeous and found ourselves at the river several time a day. Very relaxing! We will be visiting again!!!

We were pleased to meet you and thank you for staying with us for your long weekend anniversary celebration! So glad you enjoyed our Crystal River frontage. It is beautiful in all seasons so you will have to come back when the wild turkeys strut up the path from the river, the deer are eating the apples and pears that fall off the trees, the colors are turning or even when it is a frosty winter wonderland! We look forward to your next stay and thank you once again for your kind review.
