The rooms are large and roomy. Very clean. The bathroom is small but ony hosts the tub and toilet and there are hooks on the wall and towel hangers. The tub and tile appear newly redone. The sink and vanity are in a more open common area and has generous space. The beds are comfy. Quite often I wake with...

Newly updated rooms with friendly staff made our stay Washburn very enjoyable! Beds were comfortable and room refrigerator was a bonus. Can't wait to come back this summer to enjoy exploring the area in warm weather.

I come up to the area frequently (family & business), but it's this motel's committed, flexible and kind management staff that make it always such a pleasant and comfortable visit. This is not a motel high on amenities, a pool, etc. Rather it offers things of greater value and appreciation: easy access, friendly & helpful staff, reasonable rates (off season,...

We are staying here and the place overlooking Lake Superior. Value is an understatement. Old but clean and functional. Pleasant staff, continental breakfast in the morning. You could pay double but won't get anything more comfortable.

No this is not the most modern motel but the rooms while quite dated are clean and the staff/owners very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again when we are in Northern Wisconsin near the beautiful Apostle Islands

Let us start off by saying the service here is Excellent. We failed to read the fine print that said to let them know if we were not arriving at the hotel before 9 pm. WE had arrived at the Apostle Islands and took the evening Grand Tour and a late dinner at Bayfiled (just up the road from our...

After spending a few days in Washburn I feel I made the best choice staying in this Inn. The Inn is a little older but it is very well maintained and the rooms seemed very well kept and clean. They provided a small breakfast in the morning of toast fruit and coffee. The hotel is right on the lake which...

I went up to the Bayfield area for biking and truly enjoyed this place. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are outdated but extremely clean and comfortable. It is located off the main highway and very close to the lake which avoids car noise. I will definitely be back!

Conveniently located with easy access to nearby Bayfield and the Apostle Islands, this bare-bones hotel has clean rooms with super comfy beds and a friendly staff. Nice view of the lake with a little marina to watch the sunrise and sunset and free wi-fi.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel last week. It was the most expensive hotel on our trip and also the worst experience. The staff at the hotel are lazy. If you don't check in before 10pm, they put your hotel key under the mat to the front door with your name and room number on it. How is...
