Great family glamping trip. Endless outdoor fun for the kids. Nice to be able to bring outside snacks and beverages. Plenty of tubes for the lazy River.. no the dumping bucket doesn’t work but our kids didn’t mind. The public bathrooms could be cleaner but we used them for showering etc. Bring shower shoes. And yes they are under staffed but most things we enjoyed no staff needed. Have patience, enjoy your family and have fun.. We sure did and make this an every summer must.

We were up here last weekend for two nights and stayed in the Deluxe Cabin. We wanted to stay Thursday night too. I called and called months ago to see if we could stay the extra night, but no one would answer the phone and the mailbox was full. I also emailed and didn't a response. I tried their after hours number and another number I found in the online reviews. I was called back by two people within hours and both were very helpful, kind, and apologized for not being able to answer the phone/emails due to the volume of how busy they've been and lack of staffing. Things you need to know: -Reserve EARLY like in fall/winter months and reserve a golf cart ASAP with your lodging/camping reservation. When you arrive, ask for your golf cart right away. You still may not get one... it is what it is for the volume of people staying here. -The Park Model cabins are not real great (did one of those last year). The deluxe cabin was awesome and way more updated/comfortable. -If you are looking for a quiet immaculately clean campground, you will be disappointed. It's an AMAZING fun place, but it's busy with many activities, lots of people, golf carts, bikes, etc. -Cabins will be "moderately clean." You are glamping at a campground, it is what it is. If you have littles, DON'T let them crawl around non the floor :). I used the camp ground community bathrooms and many times and thought they were clean and maintained! -Pools need some work. They're older and just need some TLC. -Snack shop by the pool = it'll be busy. You will have to wait a while. They're understaffed and doing what they can. Be kind. The food is awesome! It sounds like major overhauls and updates will be starting in the next year. Seriously this place is awesome to make wonderful memories with family and friends. Highly recommend it! Everyone we encountered from the people who called me back, to the front desk and snack bar workers, and workers in the craft shop were all patient, kind, and helpful. Just know you will need to be patient, flexible, and kind. I do believe big awesome changes and updates are coming! :)

We recently completed a two night stay at Jellystone. We had two sites with three adults and seven children. FYI – I am a long-time local resident and park enthusiast. I have no affiliation with the current Jellystone owners – but have volunteered in the Warrens community for many years and have worked to support the Warrens Cranberry Festival and the cranberry industry overall. Reading posts from disappointed campers and guests visiting Jellystone with their families, especially those hoping to recreate memories of their own childhood visits, are heart breaking. Jellystone’s original owners were outstanding, generous community minded people – who truly meant for families to come and make precious memories. Years went by; ownership changed, and each management has different ideas on what they felt was most important. I hate to say it – but we all know it is true – Covid came – and the tourism industry took a BIG hit. A hit so big they are still struggling to come back from all the funds they lost due to low occupancy and now also due to staffing issues. It is not just an issue in Jellystone Park, Warrens, WI – finding sufficient staff is an issue everywhere. I am posting this note in the hopes that readers will give the new owners of Jellystone another chance. Give them this summer to “get their feet wet.” Let them know your problems – this is how they will prioritize what needs to be addressed first. I see the new cabin rentals in the parking lot; I hear they are redoing the pools and they also have other areas of construction they are looking at. Remember – big projects like this do not happen overnight. Hopefully, Summer 2022 will recoup losses from the past and give them working capital to reinvest into the park. With updates, clean-up and improved staffing – I believe Jellystone Warrens will once again be a Mid-West Hot-spot. And a place where families will come to make memories one generation after the other. I understand the reviewers’ complaints. The need for more golf carts, more seating with shade in the waterpark and pool areas, clean bathrooms, the Jellystone phone app matching what is actually going on at the park that day, the phones not being answered in a timely manner in the office, more floats for the lazy river…... some are simple fixes (maybe put a disclaimer on the Jellystone app that says activities @Jellystone Warrens may change due to staffing issues so please check at front desk – a simple fix that will make campers happy instead of angry). I like making people happy – I hate the thought of management letting people leave the park thinking they do not care. Now – I know you cannot please everyone…. But what about a simple note with their check-in package, from the new owners, that says we apologize for any inconveniences the campers may experience as we work to solve staffing problems and more. Then state the new plans for 2023. And could you give them a ten% off coupon for a 2023 stay? Or what about Free wristbands (maximum 4 or 6 per family). Or ANYTHING – that makes the 2022 camper feel like you understand things could be better this year and you are darn sure going to do your best to fix them for next year. I passionately believe there are still generations of memories to be made. I know I sure want to bring my grandkids back again – both this year AND next year!!! I wish you all the best. And campers – keep your suggestions coming – and please give them time to solve the issues and then “give them another chance and come on back.”

We were a little nervous coming here after reading some of the recent reviews. After staying here a couple days I would say that it is definitely worth a visit if you have kids. Yes, some areas need TLC, but don’t let that stop you from having fun. Don’t expect the water park to look like a major water park. It’s a campground. They let you use your own tubes in the lazy River and wave pool. So bring them if you have them. Yes, those pools do have rusty spots from the metal drains used years ago. The fabric missing from some sun umbrellas but I found plenty of shady spots. Be sure to find out what time the water slides are running. They don’t run all day. The bathrooms: the heaviest used bathroom is the one by the ranger station and pools. It was gross the night we got there. But happy to say it got cleaned up and we never saw it that gross again. They have lots of free a activities for the kids Bottom line: if you want a brand new looking water park with sparkling showers and bathrooms then go to a major water park like Disney. If you have kids who want to play in the sand and be kids splashing around then this will be great for them. It doesn’t break the bank, either.

Just got home from here for 4 nights. We had a lot of fun. The park definitely needs some maintenance and attention compared to other Yogis we have stayed at. I still would not let this scare you away. (I am pretty particular). Everything was operational, just needs some general cleaning up and TLC. They do seem short handed in staff, but everyone they do have did a good job. My kids loved the slides and pool area. No issues with rowdy crowds or anything like that. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Golf cart parade in Sat night was pretty fun. It’s worth participating in and seeing. All in all good trip. I just hope they start to pay more attention to mowing and general maintenance on the grounds. We would visit again.

We spent a long weekend there over the 4th and Jellystone has changed and not for the better! The customer service is terrible, they don't answer their phones and you cannot leave a message cause the mail box is full, they over book golf carts and then canceled peoples reservations, the wave pool is gross and the floor is rusty in spots, the hot tub is all cracked and looks like it is falling apart, they are extremely short staffed, the adult hot tub I think has been broken for the last 3 yrs and the picnic basket in the kids area does not work. On top of all that, where are all the activates they used to do? If it was not for the campers golf carts decorated I would have not even known it was the 4th of July. I really hope the new owners get things figured out cause we love this place and look forward to our trip there every year.

My family was there for a fun trip in June of this year with two other families. The resort had a tree trimming company come in and trim a tree right above our car that was parked right in front of the property we paid for while there. We were given a five minute warning to move her car, while at a pool resort, of course we didn’t have our phones with us at that second. Five minutes later we received a call that the back windshield of a car was broken. We have been dealing with The tree trimming insurance company to fix our car for over two weeks now. The resort refused to refund our money that we paid to stay there even though this was their fault. They did not give us far enough warning to move our vehicle. We had to spend our vacation time dealing with insurance companies and trying to get our car fixed. We had to drive 2 1/2 hours home with a broken back windshield with three kids in the car. The day we left we unfortunately forgot to my son suitcase in the middle of trying to figure out how we will drive home with a broken back windshield. When I realize that when getting home I called and emailed the resort about it. A manager called me back that same day, June 19th, and said the suitcase would be mailed the next day. I have yet to receive my suitcase or any information about it. I have called and left many messages when I can because the mailboxes is usually full. I have emailed multiple times and have never received a response. The one time someone called me back and I asked about it they said the manager was busy and they hung up on me. We will never return to this place or recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointed. I have been coming to Jellystone since I was a young child. Back when there was just the one waterslide! I have been bringing my children almost every year(minus when CoVid hit). They built up and added Three Bears and ended up going bankrupt. The two separated into 2 solo resorts. Jellystone has been through several owners. The newest which is Great Escapes Resorts. I was so disappointed. This may be our last hoorah with Jellystone as it has really gone downhill. The camping cabins are filthy. Full of cobwebs and giant spiders, old earrings, hair ties, garbage, etc. My son saw a wolf spider which I had to stay up until wee hours of the morning to kill while they slept in my car. The bathrooms that we had to use had no toilet paper, garbage all over the floor, urine and feces all over the toilets. The shower house smelled horrid of mold and the floors were over the shoes wet with water. The waterslides were closed one of the 4 days we were there due to staffing and when they were open they were only open 2 hours and they did not have enough mats for people to use so the lines were over 30-40 minutes only allowing the kids to go down one or two times. There were not enough tubes for the lazy river with the same excuse as the mats-they are on backorder. The water bucket was not working, the umbrellas were missing to avoid the sun, all of the pool basketball hoops were hanging by one or two screws not even usable. The volleyball court was dug up mid-stay to put in a different activity. The mini golf has not been tended to in what seems an eternity. Rocks all over the green, bricks missing allowing your ball to just go out of the green. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone there. So good luck if you need anything. Employee's aren't happy and it shows. Jellystone needs to lower their prices until they can get things fixed and get a grip on repairs. We left a day early and booked our last day at Three Bears. Best decision I made and my kids begged to go back there instead.

They don’t answer the phone. They don't answer phone messages. They don't respond to emails. If you have a question about your reservation, forget about it. I reserved an RV spot with full hook-ups. I was to stay in a lot next to my friend. My RV had a problem, so I called 16 days ahead of my arrival date to ask if I could tent on that site, because my friend who stays there every year said they probably wouldn’t allow it. After not being able to contact them for several days, I decided to cancel my reservation. No refund, even though it was way ahead of the refund deadline. I am stunned at how awful these people are! I had to get my bank involved to file a dispute.

Our family was very excited to go on an extended camping trip this year. We thought what better place than Jellystone Yogi Bear. And with all the amenities they have listed, we would keep the kids entertained the whole trip! However, after making reservations I had to cancel one of our two camping sites. It was impossible to reach anyone, either in reservations or the front desk. It took me two days and 30+ phone calls later to finally reach someone. She asked me what site I would like to keep of the two and she suggested D111. I told her that we will take that site and would have 6 people total, 2 adults and 4 kids. As one of the adults would not be coming anymore. I confirmed the refund amount with her. When I finally got my refund it was less than expected. Again, it took several phone calls to get in touch with someone. And by several I mean 20+ phone calls over and over again to reach someone. The second person I talked to told me that they canceled one of the sites; however, they cannot remove an adult off a campsite once they are on and booked. I was not explained this. I told her the conversation I had with the first person and that she asked what site I would like to keep. They ended up refunding my money for the seventh person. But I have not been impressed by the knowledge of staff and the ability to reach someone by phone. I would not recommend booking with this business, unless you want to waste a lot of time if you have questions or need to make any changes to your reservation. We will NOT be returning here. Hopefully our trip will go more smoothly when we arrive on Friday.
