This is an older motel but works fine if you need a bed. Nothing fancy but has a fitness room and a pool. There is a bar and restaurant with a good breakfast included in the room rate. It is located on the lake and direct access to the bike path.

The incredible view and good food of this stop in our trip back from door county was a great find. Outstanding views of Lake Michigan and good food priced reasonably for everyone. Strongly suggest the perch plate. Also the story of the founding of the restaurant and hotel is a great one. One of the only places to eat in...

we greatly appreciated the staff and their extra help when a member of our party was having a diabetic health scare. the location on lake michigan is also terrific. the rooms were clean and comfortable. if your offer for the hotel claims "free breakfast," note that it is a full service restaurant and you get $5 against the menu, which...

We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn while on a last minute trip. It was affordable and near some State Natural trails we planned to walk. Previous reviews said this property is dated and it is. My memory of it is old, dark wood. The carpet is OK but an update could help the appearance. Our room was clean and comfortable....

My mother and I planned an impromptu trip out to Lake Michigan to view the supermoon and requested a room from which it could be easily seen. The staff booked us a lovely second-floor room with a northeastern exposure, allowing a perfect view of the moon with its reflection on the lake. Additionally, its dining room features a wall of...

The Lighthouse Inn is hard to describe properly. It's an older hotel that looks a bit run down from the outside, but on the inside it is clean, warm, friendly, and welcoming. It's like visiting grandma -- not the latest decor, and maybe a musty smell here and there, but it feels like home. Our room was great, the bed...

If we could have stepped out the window we would have been right on the Mariner's trail that goes along the lakeshore. Beautiful view! The entire hotel is a charming throwback in time. Caring, friendly staff. Nautical details everywhere. The room was spacious and extremely clean. It was helpful to have a fridge and microwave. The dining room and bar...

I was a little afraid of the outdated photos because I associated old with dirty. But, everything was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The staff really takes pride in this hotel. We stayed in a double queen on the second floor street side. The room was pretty large and quiet. We did not hear car traffic from the road or regular foot...

The location is fantastic! The place is clean and has a friendly staff. We ate at the breakfast area that is overlooking the lake. It was a great experience. When you turn left from the Hotel there is a nice bike/walking path. We will come back!
