Very friendly service and staff. Beds are a little hard could use all new beds for all the rooms. Rates are average. Hard working employees. View of the lake is fantastic and overwhelming...... Pool is terrific.

The title of this review pretty much sums it up. The hotel is older, but the room was clean. We had a room with 2 queen beds, but the beds seemed small for being queens. The mattresses were comfortable enough, but could use replacing. The hotel is literally right on the lake. Unfortunately the day we were there, it was very rainy and cloudy, so there wasn't much to look at except for gray sky and rough waters. I'm sure when the weather is nicer, there are some really great views and sunsets. The free/included breakfast comes from the restaurant. You can order off the "included" menu for a free breakfast, or use your coupon as a $5 voucher for anything you want at the restaurant. Given the covid pandemic, we decided to do a pick-up order and bring it back to the room instead of eating in the restaurant. We both ordered from the "included" menu and got ham and cheese omelets. When we picked up the food at the restaurant we signed the receipt stating $0.00. Breakfast and the omelets were great! As we were settling our bill at check-out, we noticed that they added $1 for breakfast, even though breakfast was included. The front desk had to call the restaurant to try and clear it up. After about 10 minutes they finally took the $1 off our bill. I understand that $1 is not a big deal, but it is very wrong and unethical for them to add money to a bill for no reason, especially when the receipt was already signed at $0. $1 is not a lot of money, but if it is added to everyone's bill (and it goes unnoticed) it can add up to a lot of money. Check your Bill. Overall the hotel was nice and we had a nice stay. The restaurant trying to tack money onto our bill did leave a negative impression.

Loved waves crashing on the rocks outside bedroom window! The style of the place is so cool with the big windowed dining room and bar with tremendous views. The bright blue tile and entrance amenities may seem dated to some, but we loved it. Made you feel like you were on a ship. As others have noted the rooms are somewhat dated, but the vintage feel wasn't a problem for us. Two of the best lounge chairs have ever had! Only real problem was the old soft bed. Please Lighthouse get some new mattresses and make them true queen size. Ours appeared to be an old double size. Free breakfast is really good and served restaurant style. This way guests can enjoy the beautiful dining room even if eating lunch or dinner somewhere else. Service is super! After breakfast we asked when the bar opens. Host said he would open it immediately for us if we wanted. Lighthouse truly makes you feel you are at a shoreline oasis away from it all. Highly recommend returning or going here if you haven't.

The location can't be beat,...right on the lake shore, literally feet away. The people and service was top notch. The room kind of dated but very comfortable and clean. The bar and its view can't be topped. Dinner on the other hand was a disappointment. The onion soup was as good as I've had, but the Perch was so overdone as to be inedible. More like "fish jerky". Breakfast was much better.

The location is gorgeous nestked right on Lake Michigan. Close (15 minutes) to Mantiwoc where shopping and restaurants are located. Close (10 minutes) to Neshotah Beach. Had some issues upon arrival with the cleanliness of the room. The front desk person was attentive when I voiced concern and took care of the issues. I noticed the housekeeping staff did not use masks and gloves. Being in the midst of the pandemic, I disinfected the room upon arrival anyway for my own peace of mind. I would've done that regardless of the housekeeping staff. I told the housekeeping staff daily that I didn't need their services and kept the Do Not Disturb sign on the door as well. Overall, the inn is older but I felt that was part of the charm. The price was right. The location is amazing. We were comfortable our entire stay. We will return again.
