It is an older hotel but well maintained and very clean. Has...More
My stay here started off in a frustrating fashion. I arrived with my husband and two children and was given vouchers for 2 breakfasts. I asked if that was enough for all of us and was told only adults receive free breakfasts because children stay...More
The family that owns this place is extremely nice and provides good service, however, the property is in need of better management of the details. The hotel was very crowded, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, to the point where I even heard one employee complain...More

I agree with the above answers. Not much of a tourist destination.A better choice is Milwaukee. It offers a variety of big city amenities including a walkable downtown riverfront area, lots of restaurants and micro breweries. Other attractions are the art museum on the lakefront, the history museum and the "domes," an inside/outside horticultural park, and a world famous zoo.
