Brambleberry Country Inn Indulge and relax by escaping to Brambleberry, an award-winning country weekend retreat, rated a top Wisconsin romantic destination. Luxury hotel rooms with king beds, 2-person whirlpool tubs and fireplaces are the perfect place to get away from it all. You won't want to leave! Enjoy an evening glass of wine, beer or soft drink after check-in. In the winter enjoy the fireplace in the library, sledding, snowshoeing, walk nature trails, visit cute farm animals, order a savory pizza, borrow from our large book and video library and enjoy popcorn while you settle into your cozy bed for the night. Guests have shared access to a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and toaster. We provide in-room coffee. Tea, cocoa, hot cider, orange juice and a muffin are available in the kitchenette. You're welcome to bring additional breakfast food and snacks.
We stumbled onto the Brambleberry Country Inn and Winery by accident. We are glad we did. The Inn is re-emerging from the ravishes of the pandemic year, and yet the sense of joy evidenced by both Sherry and Chris was evident. The challenges in the hospitality industry are going to be many, the smaller facilities are going to face significant additional challenges. And yet, here was a lovely country inn, no breakfast, but a great room, good amenities and lovely setting. The Winery was a bonus and while the tasting business will take time to recover, the sooner you make a visit, the happier you will be. It may not be the fanciest place you ever stay, but it might be the most lovely and interesting place you will stay. From talking about small town journalism and the challenges they face to talking about the need for multiple jobs in order to simply sustain a passionate desire to run an inn and a winery- you will find gracious hosts amidst a restful retreat. An added bonus- miles of near empty county roads to bike and cross through a beautiful slice of Wisconsin
I almost have no words in my limited earthly vocabulary to express the magical time I had at the Inn while staying for my Master Reiki Class. Absolutely everything was so above and beyond perfection and Chris & Sherry are just wonderful folks. Truly dedicated to serve and make your stay unforgettable. And Sherry’s class!!! THE reason for the trip! It was an enlightening, beautiful experience. One that will help me and my clients for the rest of my days. Thankyou for all you have created and all you have given of yourselves! ❤️❤️❤️
This was our second spring time stay at the Brambleberry B & B and we're hoping to come back every year. Sherry and Chris are wonderful, down-to-earth hosts. They are so accommodating. We've stayed in two different rooms both of which were very comfortable. Great beds for a good night's sleep in fresh country air and sounds of nature. An owl cooed us to sleep one evening. Wonderful consideration for details like a convenience fridge and microwave with popcorn. Home baked treats to snack on after a walk on the nature trail. Each breakfast was elegantly served and featured foods from the farm or local growers. Fresh rhubarb compote, home baked sweets, asparagus quiche, and Scottish eggs, were all completely delicious. My husband and I find rest and rejuvenation in the rolling countryside of Trempleau County. We love a low-key to no itinerary and have found ourselves scouting treasures at a local flea market, enjoying dinner at a supper club or pub, biking, sipping wine on the veranda of a nearby winery and simply napping on rainy afternoon. This trip we got to bottle-feed the baby lambs!

I visited the property as a place to stay while visiting relatives in Black River Falls. This was the perfect choice—I do note the Trip Advisor description is a little off so please visit the website for accurate descriptions of all the rooms (there was no 2 person hot tub in my room but a delightful claw foot tub). The winery does indeed have great wine selections (I purchased some to bring home) and I had their thin crust pizza for dinner after an 8 hour drive and it was amazing! I feel so fortunate to have been there the last weekend they operate as a full service bed and breakfast as, going forward, no full breakfast will be served. I had a delightful, comfortable stay with charming, friendly hosts and hope to return when things are in bloom and the weather is more friendly for exploring the surroundings. It is true there is no cell service but the owners have a complimentary land line you can use including long distance calls.…

Great place to get some downtime in winter. Beautiful home with generous hosts and a great winery attached. (Seriously, try the wine) We used this as our base for snowshoeing in Black River Falls which is about 1/2 hour away. Breakfasts were delicious. While there is no cell phone signal, they do have WiFi and satellite TV. The living room is comfortable with wood stove, ample library and games. Can't wait to try it out in the fall, too.

My wife and I were married on February 14th of this year at Brambleberry Bed and Breakfast. Sherry and Chris were fantastic hosts and the wedding was extraordinary. Sherry wed us and then Chris learned us on some fine wine. This was followed up with a very delicious homemade breakfast every morning we were there. I have to admit this was exceptional in our book and sets the standard very high for a romantic get away. We highly recommend a wedding, a honeymoon or just simply a stay at Brambleberry Bed and Breakfast. We can’t wait for our next visit there.

Sherry and Chris created a home away from home for our two night stay and elopement. The winery/bed and breakfast was remote enough to detach from our busy lives but close enough to local spots for food and other amenities. The prices are inexpensive and the quality cant be beat. Their genuine hospitality and flexibility will bring us back again.

Went for a family reunion. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. Very comfortable beds and attentive hosts. Breakfast each day was a feast. The winery (attached to the B & B) is a welcome surprise. Nice wines. Really loved the Maiden’s Blush and the Highland Red. Quiet and on a working farm. A great little get away from the city.

My wife, two great friends, and I visited Brambleberry the weekend before Christmas. This was our second visit here (same time of year). It was wonderfully relaxing, and we really enjoyed our stay. Sherry and Chris are excellent hosts, the breakfasts were amazing, and we had a lot of fun learning about the wine (and winery), the animals on the farm, and the history of the inn. We could not have been accommodated any better. I have to believe that the inn is just as beautiful in the summer, but even in the winter, we cozied up, played games, and had such a relaxing and refreshing trip. They also serve pizzas on the weekend, and what better meal than pizza and wine! Can't wait to go back!

The first thing I noticed about this winery and inn, is that there is no internet service. We had no phone service the whole time we were there. It this 2017? Esp for safety sake, they should invest in WiFi for their guest. We were NOT told about that beforehand, What a shock. It is in a very remote area, and restaurants are not close at all and after driving some distance to get there, did not want to drive 7 or 15 miles to an ok restaurant. That being said, the winery is nice, the wines are fabulous and very smooth. Mainly sweet. The inn was clean, the beds comfy. Kind of small quarters with iffy tv service. But to get away and unwind, it is peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was good. The host and hostess were very nice. Due to the location and no internet I doubt we will go back. Nice winery though.…

This review is somewhat inaccurate. We do have internet and WIFI service -- in fact we have two modems to accommodate our guests. We also offer a courtesy phone for guests. We need WIFI to operate our business. We would have gladly pointed that out if we had been asked. It is also stated on all of our room descriptions on our website that we offer free wireless internet. We also have a secure entry, fire alarms and escape ladders because we believe safety is very important. We do offer sweet wines which are very popular but we make as many or more dry wines. We make 48 wines and we don't open them all every week. Yes, the nearest restaurant is 7 miles away but we also offer delicious pizzas in the winery until one hour before closing. Many guests also eat at area restaurants in La Crosse, Trempealeau, Ettrick, Galesville or Black River Falls while they are out on daytrips. Our peaceful location is a great base for all of these towns. This guest reserved one of our two smaller rooms where local channels are offered along with a DVD player and a large selection of movies -- also clearly stated on our website. Our three larger rooms have whirlpool, fireplace and Direct TV but they were booked many weeks before.

We loved our visit to this B and B. Plus, you get to also visit their winery tasting room at the same location. Our room (the Horse and Hound) was very cozy and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the whirlpool tub. Upstairs they have a refrigerator that guests may use, offer free soft drinks and also complimentary microwave popcorn for a snack. Our room had DIRECTV as well as a strong Wifi signal. There is no cell service but they have a phone you can use for calls if needed. There is a big DVD library, many books and board games available for the guests. The winery has excellent wine to sample in a tasting room connected to the B&B. We enjoyed the tasting and learning about the variety of wines from our hosts. It was very quiet in the B&B and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was superb. We highly recommend a stay here for any reason. You won't be disappointed!…
