Beautiful old farmhouse on 80 acres with a sheep farm! The home is immaculately clean and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Our bed was so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - sour cream cherry pancakes one day and eggs and scones the next day. Gretchen is a wonderful hostess with lots of stories to tell and helpful dinner... More

Whitefish Bay Farm is a fantastic B&B run by the warm and friendly host Gretchen, who really understands the meaning of hospitality. We had a wonderful experience, beginning with the delicious breakfasts that accommodated my gluten-free diet (she went out of her way to prepare gluten-free pancakes for me). The property is picturesque, the historic home has been lovingly restored... More

As B&B first timers, we had no idea what to expect, but we were excited about the sheep! Gretchen, the owner was friendly, informative, and made some delicious breakfast and coffee throughout our stay! Stayed in the King-size room, and it was huge! Bathroom was decently sized and everything seemed clean and cared for. The sheep farm aspect was probably... More

We stayed here in May 2015. Gretchen is the best! The breakfast was delicious and made to order (I'm vegetarian) She gave us good tips on things to do and restaurants to go to. I loved the sheep! They were very friendly, and Gretchen and Dick let us pet them and gave us good information about how they were raised,... More

We've stayed in many B&B's, but this one was a standout for us. All the makings of a great B&B stay were there -- friendly hosts, good breakfast, comfortable room, impeccable housekeeping. However, it was the working sheep farm aspect that made it truly memorable. The stay includes a a tour of the sheep meadow and a chance to meet... More

Wonderful place! Dick and Gretchen are superb hosts. They have perfected the art of exactly the right amount of hospitality. Beautiful, modern clean room. Spotless bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was homecooked, and delicious. Eggs with artichokes, scones with local dried cherries, all served at perfect temperature, and almost more than we could eat. It was so good we ate... More

This was a week of several firsts for us: My wife and I had never visited Door County before, had never stayed in a B&B before, and had never walked out of a morning to be surrounded by such a friendly friendly flock of Wisconsin residents. The other reviews all have it exactly right as regards the atmosphere, the friendliness... More

We stayed for three nights in late August and it was wonderful. It's on the 'quiet side' of the Door County peninsula, and is incredibly tranquil. The rooms are spotless, the food is wonderful and was different every day, and the hosts are charming and helpful. We stayed in the 'Trillium' room, which has a queen sized bed with a... More

We stayed at Whitefish Bay Farm for two nights in mid-August. It was a lovely experience. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and the inn keeper Gretchen is charming. They offer a tour of their sheep farm, and you even get to pet the sheep! If you're looking for a more off the beaten path place in... More
