I am surprised to see so many good reviews. We are experienced travelers and have never come across a hotel this filthy and dated charging these rates. Dated is kind, it’s 30yrs overdue for a Reno. Pictures are not true representation. The carpets are disgusting, food on the walls, cupboards... just gross. And the staff were both unhelpful and gloomy. I could elaborate quite a bit, but you get the idea. There must be a much better places to stay in Door County!

There is absolutely nothing “state of the art” in the fitness room. Two bikes, one was stuck on the same resistance, another was from the 1980’s, no elliptical. Weights are minimal, and the entire room needs a good cleaning. No water or towels provided in the workout room either. I will not stay here again for this reason. This room needs a serious upgrade, and a change to the resorts website. Note: If there’s no pictures, it’s not worth mentioning.

Hello Richard... Thank you for your comments...it is most unfortunate that your experience was less than satisfactory. The Bridgeport Owners take great pride in the service and accommodations offered by Resort..a significant amount of money is budgeted each year to maintain the quality of the product including the fitness area which is scheduled to be addressed in the next month. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience, it would be great to chat with you about your experience in hopes of retaining you as a Bridgeport Guest....800-671-9190. Regards.... Steve

Stayed for fire and ice weekend. Left to go out for the day the maid came in made the bed poorly and never cleaned the room needless to say when we got back to the room we were very disappointed. I told the front desk about it and they didn’t care just said ok . I filled out the hotels survey and asked to be contacted about this matter and they never contacted me . So since they didn’t care I figured I would let everyone know what they can expect I know I’m not staying there again and I stayed there several times a year .

I signed up to get updates by email and for Valentine's I received a special so my husband and I decided to check this place out. We stayed in a king suite and enjoyed watching one of their DVD's on the couch by the fire place and ordering in pizza from Sonny's. Sonny's delivered pizza right to our room. The whirl pool bath was very nice and bought one of their romance baskets with bath stuff. The hotel was very quiet and we slept very well. In the morning I made a pot of coffee in the room with the coffee maker and coffee they provide. We then went to breakfast at Scaturo's on our way out of town and had a lovely breakfast and picked up some bakery items for family. Great night away!
