Tranquil Timbers RV Resort is your guarantee of a vacation to remember. We invite you to experience the uniqueness that is Door County from our beautiful campsites. The Tranquil Timbers campground is a peaceful place to relax, to see nature's beauty and just have fun. We are located on a 75-mile long peninsula known as one of the nation's premier vacation destinations with 5 state parks and 10 lighthouses. Tranquil Timbers, a Door County RV resort and campground, is adjacent to Potawatomi State Park, which has beautiful hiking and biking trails and a boat launch. The Tranquil Timber campgrounds are located in Door County, which has more than 250 miles of big water shoreline and year-round fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, giant northern pike, brooke and rainbow trout. Aptly named, Tranquil Timbers and its RV resort property lie between the sparkling waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan among quiet forests and wooded paths.

Extremely quiet campground welcoming of short stays among seasonal sites. Right next to the Potawatomi State Park and you can save the $11 out of state daily park pass and hike over. Great amenities onsite too! Cleanest shower house we’ve seen camping

As a seasonal camper at Tranquil Timbers I would like to congratulate and give 5 Stars to the new Management for job well done. The Staff is so friendly and hard working as they where preparing the campground for the new season. Many upgrades to improve the appearance of the campground from cleaning and painting the pool deck, to cleaning up the mini-golf course. Love all the new merchandise in the camp store. Congratulations!

The campground is nice and "tranquil" but the lack of sewer sites for traveling RV's and the really old, nasty bathrooms made it less desirable. They do have a honey wagon at $15 each which we used several times because the bathroom were so bad. The location is great and Door Country is beautiful. We would stay again due to location but for a shorter time.

The cabins are very nice but they are supposed to be “dog friendly” but the people with annual sites around the cabins are not dog friendly and will report you to the office for “excessive barking” and of course the office will side with their annual campers despite the efforts you made to not have your dogs bark! And guess what barking is a natural thing that dogs do when in a different place and around people/dogs! Very nice place but this ruined the end of our trip and we even had to leave early! I would recommend not bringing your dog if you are staying in a cabin DESPITE it being advertised as “dog/pet friendly” because thats definitely not the case!

We originally booked through a camping program and were unable to get a full hookup. When we called in advance to ask about receive a package there, I double checked to see if a full hook up had become available and they were able to accommodate us. We had an 11 night stay, so we were grateful to have full hookup. Our site was in the timber and really was SO tranquil! We slept really well and enjoyed visiting with our neighbors during the day!

They don’t have half of the things listed. There wifi does not work at all and they charge you a lot of money. There activity center was not open and what I have been told has not been open for 2 years. The whole time I was here I never once saw the manager. The only good thing is that there are no other campers here so you have the place to your self.

It was very important for us to be near a restroom to accommodate our 85 year old mother in law, who decided to come camping with us. Not only did the staff make sure we were near a bathhouse, but it was the cleanest I have seen in quite a few campgrounds. Also, we appreciated the quite surroundings, like that no golf carts are allowed.

We had to grab our check in information from the file folder box upon arrival which contained the code for the gate. We need this information for us to enter the campground. We parked in the check in lane with the trailer as we normally would (far lane from the office). I got out and grabbed our information and was approached by a staff member quite rudely and asked if I needed help. The tone used was not pleasant, but I blew it off and I said no I am just grabbing my check-in information. The staff member proceeded to tell me to hurry up because I am blocking her gate, still in a rude tone. I was very shocked to be greeted this way as I was only up there long enough to find my information (maybe 10 to 15 seconds). We were not parked longer than a minute total. There was one car in the other lane that had to wait for us to move (when your hauling a trailer you do tend to take up some space). I had to open the gate and then get back in the truck as you cannot reach the gate code box from the far lane, so this is going to take a few more seconds than normal. Other than the check in incident this time we really enjoy this campground. It is well maintained, has beautiful wooded sites with full hook up that are spacious, the campers are always friendly, and we never had an issue with staff until this visit. We are unsure if we would return due to this as we are paying customers and were treated very rudely upon arrival. We would prefer to give our money to someone who wants us there.

Very rude and disrespectful staff members. Harassing campers before they are able to even get out of their vehicles about staying on the grass. We witnessed numerous times a camp site pulling in and no more than 3 mins later, this man on a golf cart would approach and yell at them to stay on the gravel. This man also advised us that the reason the pool was not open was because they " didn't have time" to get it ready. Maybe instead of harassing people as soon as they pull in, you would have some time. Many of times in which they weren't even pulled into the site yet. They are very serious about with quiet time. The same man on a golf cart will approach at 10:55 PM to inform of quiet time. He will then wait around the corner until 10:59 PM to approach again and tell everyone to " shut up" Both nights this happened but only to select campsites, other campsites that were louder than ours, were never approached at all. And those campers, even made mention to us the next day that they thought it was unfair and our 3 sites were targeted from the beginning. We camp almost every weekend at numerous camp grounds around Wisconsin and have NEVER been yelled at for noise or disrespected the way this management team treated us. We had young children and a baby sleeping that were not "disrupted" from our music or talking. Another family of ours called Memorial Day weekend to book a site for Father's day weekend and nobody from Tranquil Timbers had the decency to call them back. We've camped here many times and have never had this experience. Our friends who had a seasonal site here for years ( the reason we started camping here) have since left because of their management team. We will never return to this establishment again and will make sure others are aware of our experience.

we always enjoy camping in Door county. the campground seems to be getting with some deferred maintenance, pool area had missing tiles and cracked cement which causes a trip hazard for the elderly and children. The playground area had some newer additions which was nice for the kids. the trees along the road needed to be trimmed, brushed the top of our 5th wheel and kind of tight going to the exit. The entrance is also tight for a bigger rig ours is 40 foot. The rest rooms were clean. The firepits and camping sites were clean and well maintained, grass was cut, and the sites were generous in size.

I can't answer about the linens etc since we have a 5th wheel camper but the campground was very nice. Paved areas and lots of shade. Camping spaces were close to the camp store and pool. The location of the campground was close to Sturgeon Bay restaurants and shopping, easy to navigate in and out. It was one of our favorite campgrounds
