My wife and I took in the Milk Carton Kids. As a Friday night show at the Opera House we thought it would be nice to not drive home after. So we booked a room with Scott and Kim. We found it to be a great experience and would strongly recommend. Highlights: Breakfast: (Saturday morning) was excellent, and abundant. We had a three course meal, since it’s a small inn we had private service. (Also some light snacks and fluids in a fridge for the evening) Hospitality: we were warmly welcomed, and given tips about our concert adventure. I think there is a balance between having good interactions with the host and being talked to death. I appreciated that Scott was willing to talk as much as we wanted - but was listening for the clues of when to give us space. Clean/neat: he main space of the house and our bedroom were very clean. I especially noticed the bedroom and bathroom were very well taken care of. Comfortable bed: there were seven pillows! Also fluffy blanket sheets; very luxurious! Some things to consider: There are pets: we think getting pet time as a bonus, but if you have allergies you may want to share that. Narrow spaces: the bedroom we stayed in was snug. The stairway up was what you might expect from a house of the age. We are young, so not a huge deal for us. Price: I don’t want to put this as a highlight, as prices change. The list rate was $100. This is a great deal. But I don’t want to foster the idea of this as a budget experience. I would recommend it even at a higher price.

Although we live pretty close to Stoughton, we still thought it would be fun to spend the night after hearing the incomparable Wynonna Judd at the fabulous Stoughton Opera House. The Naeset Roe Inn was owned by a lovely man named Carl who died a few years ago. We decided to check out an old favorite now in new hands and we couldn't have been more pleased. Scott and Kim, the new proprieters, are warm and gracious and have done a wonderful job of giving the Inn a much needed sprucing up. I especially appreciated two comfy chairs for reading, as well as a very nice mattress. Kim has done a great job of decorating each room. Stoughton has a several fun stores to enjoy and some terrific restaurants--and everything is in easy walking from the Naeset Roe. The highlight of the trip was definitely Scott's amazing breakfast. Buttermilk syrup?--I was a skeptic, but no more. And wait till you taste Scott's bacon! We will definitely return in a few months for another concert and another breakfast!

Stunning breakfasts!! Stoughton might be a bit of a sleepy town but sure this B&B isn’t fast asleep! A B&B the way a B&B should be. Awesome sleep in a very nice bed! The owners will make you feel very welcome!! We will come back!!!

Really a great value. Hosts Scott and Kim are poised to serve with friendly banter and accurate stories. Especially enjoyed the front porch! The home is wonderful and unique. It's a family home, so we didn't mind the occasional footsteps. Really enjoyed breakfast (the "Buttermilk Syrup" and pancakes with oatmeal!). Our room was right-sized for us and very clean.
