Stayed in the Lakeside Cabin. It was exceptionally clean with modern amenities, yet has that cabin/lodge feel to it, making it comfortable & relaxing. This is my second trip to the cabin and look forward to many more.

Well, I cant speak much for the cabins, since we stayed in the hotel part... and I cant say much for the summer activities, as we were there to duck hunt. So.... First off, the resort is an easy drive off the main road. It's placed at the end of a road, has its own marina and just about everything...

I stayed here a few night while fishing on the River. The room and grounds were very clean and well kept. I had my dog with me and the motel was very pet friendly. The marina has a boat launch with a dock that is very convenient. Overall a nice facility with reasonable prices, owner and staff were friendly. I...

Lots about this resort was great. The river view, the fishing, the owners, the neighbors in their campers, the clean cabins and grounds, the window air conditioner and two restaurants in Stoddard (200 yds). Plus only 25 minutes to La Crosse. Two drawbacks made me rate this as average. You are RIGHT NEXT to a rail line. Most days at...

We booked the Vacation Home for a family weekend. It is comfortable and well stocked. It is right by the marina & boat docks so easier for quick fishing from the docks. It was very affordable and a great location overall. The only major drawback was that we were not aware that there is a train tracks right across the...

We found this hotel on a motorcycle ride up the Mississippi River. Very nice, clean, well kept place. Beautiful of the Mississippi River and gorgeous sunsets! Rooms were large and had a little kitchen area along with a separate bedroom. Very nice for the price. I would recommend staying here...the trains did get a little loud at night.

For an extended family vacation, we rented all five cabins. Everyone was very happy with the cabins. First of all, the cabins are blocks from the train tracks; the train noise wasn't an issue. The cabins are clean and well appointed. Nice furniture, very nice beds and the kitchen was well equipped. We took advantage of the pond, the beach...

We found this hidden gem last May on a ride up the Mississippi River. Stayed here on Jan 31st because we like to ice fish. Rooms are very clean, small kitchenettes with minimal supplies but when you stay here it is for fishing so amenities are not what we were looking for. It is a family run business and the...

The Water's Edge Motel Marina and Campground was great. We stayed in the log cabin by the marina. Friendly people, clean facilities, owners run the place and it shows. It has boat rentals, bait, it's own boat launch, fish cleaning station, and even fish guide service. Yes, the train runs through the area, if you stay anywhere on the Mississippi...

We stayed 4th of July weekend at Waters Edge Motel.Super experience... From clean rooms that are well furnished and comfortable, to beautiful sunset views of the shore or balcony. The setting is beautiful and fishing hot-spots can be found in many locations around the river. I've never found a resort as friendly as Waters Edge. The owners go out of...

“EAR PLUGS! (which are available in a basket in the lobby of the motel, actually) Really good ear plugs with a high decibel rating are required if you want to get any sleep. Cabins are quieter than the motel since there are no shared walls. Might want to bring your own soft towels, and you need an extension cord to plug in a hair dryer (no outlet in the bathroom).”
