Beautiful B and B-Located on tranquil and gorgeously landscaped grounds. Owner Jean took great care of us-with comfortable rooms and a delectable breakfast. The presentation was beautiful and the food delicious. During our stay, we enjoyed a campfire with other guests on an evening perfect for an outside gathering.

Jean was a wonderful host, and she runs a beautiful inn. Our room was lovely, clean, and quiet. Art and book collectors ourselves, we loved browsing her collections. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, watching birds and stars and just breathing in the fresh Wisconsin air way out in the country outside of Spring Green. Breakfasts the two mornings were... More

Beautifully decorated and only people their so we had the run of the place. Owner was very welcoming and next day we had a wonderful breakfast before we got on the road. She even shared a piece of her delicious chocolate cake that was from a wedding she had there the night before.

We stayed overnight during the winter and it was incredibly cozy. We had hot chocolate by the fire at night, and coffee by the same fire in the morning. Jean prepared an amazing breakfast of fruit waffles with sausage patties in the morning. We may have to go back in the summer to see Taliesin!

Number one if you want to see an incredible amount of hummingbirds then go here! It's fascinating! Stayed for a long weekend while taking in the delights of American Players Theatre/Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin which are fairly close by. The inn is nice and quiet. Room 5 is great because there are two twin sized beds which was great for... More

A lovely spot for photographers or just people who want to get away. The rooms are named for photographic interests (we stayed in the Eastman room) and there are cameras and photos and photographic items ephemera everywhere. Jean, the current owner (it's up for sale) is a marvelous photographer herself. Her breakfast was fabulous and her hospitality was warm and... More

The Silver Star is a drive into the country, but well worth the trip! The main rooms are comfortably appointed and there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the outdoors and views! Our room was a bit small and the walls a bit thin (snoring next door), but beds were comfy and bathroom roomy. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.... More

I don't like to rate mom/pop places poorly, but I wished I would have seen some real feedback as dixoninn shared. The place was not the cleanest..... bathroom vents full of dust, spider webs in the room corners, spots on the glasses, etc. Friendly enough, but certainly not FRIENDLY! They don't have enough time to keep the grounds up as... More

We stayed one night here and when we arrived we were loving it. It's a big place with lots of rusticity and class, with lots to offer as far as space and seating and a lovely breakfast. There was a courtyard outside our room with a fire pit and wood and a grill. Since we arrived fairly early and we... More
