The staff here messed up my reservation multiple times and were shockingly rude and unprofessional. They wouldn't guarantee two nights in the same room. I had also given a credit card in advance to cover the room for my parent's gift and they CHARGED MY PARENTS when they arrived. It's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone to discuss... More

First, I can't believe from recent reviews those people stayed the same place we did. I'd view all 5 and 4 star reviews with a huge grain of salt. This resort feels like it hasn't been updated since the 80s. It reminded me of the Econologe I stayed in for a cheap night a few weeks ago. But they think... More

This all-suite hotel is nestled (literally) on the side of the hill in verdant Spring Green, Wis. Rooms are stacked on one side of the hotel - and ALL face the lovely golf course with its greenery, fountains, bubbling brooks, etc. No need to worry about facing a parking lot, etc. Each room has a balcony - which on nice... We returned today from a two night get away at this resort. We couldn't have been more pleased! Lovely facility, gorgeous surroundings and impeccable grounds. The pools and hot tub were far above our expectations in this small town area. Our whole experience was laid back, relaxing and calming. The restaurant is not 5 star but had more than enough... We've been staying at the Resort for 2-3 days for the last several summers. We enjoy seeing plays at APT and getting in a couple rounds of golf. The primary restaurant at the Resort has very good and reasonably priced food (breakfast & dinner for us), but can be occasionally overwhelmed from a service perspective. All of the employees have... The reason to stay here is the balcony each room has. This resort is only a mile or so from American Players Theatre, and they offer a shuttle to and from performances. Here's the locals' tip: bring your own bottle of wine (we were NOT impressed by the selection at the bar), pick up some cheese and bread at a... More

Spent a chilly weekend in a king suite in building 4, very clean retro rooms with plenty of space. Comfortable bed, decent living area, small dining table and chairs, kitchenette with small fridge, coffee pot and microwave, nice balcony overlooking the golf course, which looked really nice but it was too cold to play for us. Beautiful indoor pool, above... More

Stayed here at end of April for an anniversary weekend. Had read many of the reviews and as always the negative ones are a little embellished. We stayed in a 4th floor king suite with a spectacular view of the rolling terrain & golf course...and got the Spa & golf package rates. Rooms were spacious, clean and plenty of flat... More

We were intent on visiting The House on the Rock. Stayed at this resort for one night. This property is actually located about 7 miles from The House on the Rock. The suite we had was very nice, including a small outdoor veranda. The view was of the golf course. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast in the... More

The room was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We stayed in a king suite. It had a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the service and food were great! Would stay again anyday!
