We stayed in room 120, a room with two double beds, for one night. New or nearly new contents included the beds and bedding, frig, microwave, hair dryer, TV, and carpeting. Adequate contents included the coffee service, towels, shower curtain, ironing board and iron (but points for having these), the window curtains, the lights (all were working!), the locks on... This is a small one story motel close to the bike trail really trying to be better. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The air conditioner was fine and more important quiet. The controls were low and accessible--especially important for a short person. The bathroom looked brand new. It is close to a few restaurants. It included a frig, microwave,... More

The hotel was okay to lay your head down. It was clean and comfortable. The price was right. We came with a group of bikers and it was walking distance to the downtown bars and right across the street is a nice old fashioned drive in, Rudy's. It is also close to the walking/bicycle path which is beautiful with two... More

We were in Sparta to ride the Elroy-Sparta trail and this place was perfectly located four blocks from the trail head. We also found out the hotel is just across the street from an old-time drive in restaurant and there is a great breakfast place (Dorine's) just up the street. The hotel is certainly not a splashy place, but the... More

We booked and when I checked in on our arrival I paid for the room. Didn't know till several days later that they had charged me for the room already when I booked. When I called and spoke with the owner he replied that he had my info and would look into it and contact me later that day. That... More

This place was reasonably priced. The room was a decent size but it smelled. It reminded me of past times when people could smoke in rooms and the smoke smell stayed with the furnishings. This place is a little ways from the highway so it was pretty quiet. Out of five nights on the road, this is the place I... More

The motto, "You get what you for." This is not a fancy place. We were touring small towns on our motorcycle and picked this place for it's location near downtown. The clerk was helpful in locating a place that serves great food, that wasn't a chain. The rooms are not flashy, but they were clean. We stayed in a room... More

Staff the were very rude, no customer service skills at all. I will never be staying at this properity again. We travel often and tend to stay at the more ecomincally priced hotels, but never have encountered such rude staff.

I don't mind rooms that are basic as long as they are clean. Even at the $49 off season rate, this motel failed. I couldn't imagine how furious I would have been paying the listed $95 rate. The bathroom is very small, but clean, however the towels are threadbare and gray. The biggest problem is that the carpet is absolutely... More

I recently stayed at this motel. I have to say that for $70/night, it was entirely overpriced. I should have trusted my gut and went somewhere else after the first problem. I called to see if there were rooms available for just one night. The man that answered was so impatient he started yelling his responses at me. Why did... More
