Jennifer and Steve have a great B&B in Sparta, WI. I would highly recommend the Franklin Victorian B&B if you are looking for a place to stay in the Driftless Area. The rooms are well maintained, breakfast is amazing and the locked bike storage is a bonus!

This was our second time up to Sparta and there was no question as to where we were going to stay. The Franklin Victorian Bed and Breakfast is the best for food, service and amenities! Jennifer and Steve run one of the best B & B's around. We would recommend this B & B to everyone we know.

Very cozy. The beds are very comfortable. Lots of little extra amenities - wine in the room, snacks outside the rooms in the hallway. Information on restaurants and activities is readily available. Great food. Excellent location.

Wished it had been more than one night! Beautiful B&B with amazing attention to detail and luxury. Every desire was met from robes and slippers to wine and chocolate. Fabulous breakfast and our host, Jennifer was on top of everything whether we wanted to play games, watch TV or just lounge on the front porch. Loved every minute and will... More

What a great place to spend the night! When we arrived, we just had to spend some time marveling at the craftsmanship that went in to building this house. The innkeeper gave us a brief history of the house and told us much of the construction is original. Our room, the Franklin Suite, was well furnished with a very large... More

Thank you so much for your review and I am so happy you had a wonderful stay. The Franklin Suite has a Queen size bed, but if you are usually sleeping on a King yes then there is an adjustment. In you room there are many hooks and hangers to hang up your clothes. Yes, we don't have room tv's... More

Our stay at the Franklin Victorian Bed and Breakfast was outstanding. The house is lovely and the hostess is quite gracious. The attention to detail with no end of wonderful little touches make this stand out from other places. For people coming to Sparta for the bike trail, they offer secure bike storage and a shuttle service that are extremely... More

Our Franklin Suite was beautiful and very well equipped; all the comforts of home and then some. Jennifer's extra little touches, from homemade cookies every night to fresh morning coffee right outside our door, made this a wonderful experience. Jennifer shuttled us to the opposite end of the Elroy-Sparta trail so we could bike back to Sparta and relax on... More

We stay at B&Bs all over the country and other parts of the world as well. This one is up there in the top ten percent. Jennifer is a charming hostess and is more than happy to provide you with information about the town, local attractions etc. Our room was very well appointed and had many little extras such as... My significant other and I visited Sparta to bike the Elroy-Sparta trail. One of the many great services about the B&B they offer a shuttle from Sparta to the head of the trail in Elroy for a small fee. The morning we arrived in Sparta mother nature decided to put a kink into our biking plans, it rained for 2... More

I traveled to Sparta to celebrate my 55th birthday with my 95 year-old mother (not many people actually have that privilege)! It was the perfect choice! Beautiful, serene surroundings, fabulous hostess, amazing food...the relaxation level was off the chart! I don't unplug often, but I will now! The bed was so comfortable--and the amenities over the top (wine, bathrobes, slippers,... More
