Detailed Reviews
We rented their winter chalet for a weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. The chalet is modern and very clean with a beautiful view of the lake. The location was exactly what we were looking for, secluded just enough to see some wildlife but close to dining, bait shops, stores and a couple bars. Checking in and out was simple and any questions I had the owner responded very promptly to my emails and even left a welcome bottle of wine for us! I spent weeks looking at Airbnb’s on lakes in the area and this was the perfect romantic cabin I was searching for. We plan on making this a regular winter getaway!

We were at campsite 45 and we were there for a full week. The campsites were a bit closer then I had made them in my mind to be, BUT we were surrounded by such awesome people, that the “strangers” that were surrounding us soon felt like family! It is situated on BEAUTIFUL Big Saint Germain lake. The campground is under new management. The new owner is friendly, present and accessible. The new owners walked around everyday, introduced themselves and asked campers how they were doing and for ideas on how they can make the campground better. The staff was extremely dedicated to cleanliness of the grounds in general as well as the bathrooms and showers. Please take note that the showers are pay showers but they are extremely well worth it. They are clean and they have great water pressure there are three private stalls and they are $.25 for five minutes. Please save yourself some headache and bring singles or quarters. The change machine does take singles and five dollar bills but only the old five dollar bills which are rarely in circulation. The campsite is conveniently located close to many quaint shops restaurants and beautiful lakes attraction and attractions for the kids. Also please take note that this is a family oriented campground. There are a lot of people who have been coming here for 30 years and there are a lot of families that come here for their summer get together’s. Children run around freely and have the time of their lives. 10 o’clock is quiet time and you can hear a pin drop at 10 o’clock LOL. They have a beautiful little private beach, new piers and private boat docs. They have their own gas station, live bait and laundry facilities. You can rent boats and kayaks and peddle bikes for the kids. If we could offer just one small suggestion it would be nice if there were a small sprinkler available or some type of fresh water supply for the children to play in other than the lake on a hot day. Not suggesting something expensive but perhaps Sprinklers available a couple of Willy the water bugs LOL. It will be just cool to have a small alternative to swimming in the lake. Overall this was an amazing camping experience booked for next year same time before we even left. Thank you staff for all of your friendliness and all of your camping expertise we will see you next year!

Such a great place to enjoy the Northwoods. Absolutely Beautiful setting with access to the three different lakes- Big St Germain, Lake Content & Fawn. Just enjoyed our annual memorial day weekend with friends at Lynn Anne's. So much to do with direct access to the heart of Vilas County bike trail system & minutes from St. Germain. On site they rent Kayaks, kids boats, super cool little kid and big kid big wheel bikes, they also have fishing boat and pontoon boat rental. Very inexpensive dock rental so you don't need to worry about pulling the boat in and out each night. Good mix of quiet and fun at night with a decent amount of privacy in the sites. Showers had super hot water and facilities were clean. Under new ownership this year and they did not seem to miss a beat. Check-in was fast and friendly and were already looking forward to next year!

We had a great time! Friendly staff and friendly campers everywhere.
Everything was clean and well maintained. We made use of the camp store for bait and wood, but there were other offerings as well.
We rented a small boat for 2 days, and we kept it right at our campsite!
Going back again for sure.

Been camping there for over 25 years. Two popups, and now two travel trailers worth. Heather and Mike very friendly and helpful. Handy little store and only a few miles from town for the rest. Only found 2 sites that were not favorable for trailers, but was able to make do. Great bath / shower house, always clean. Nice laundry. Nice beach with swimming area. Neat to see 2 eagles every year nesting near by. Plenty to do near by, or sit at the lake and relax. Now our Daughter, Son - in Law come in their own camper periodically. Third generation, 2 grand kids love the lake and the area. Great fishing, boating, and tourist things near by.

Beautiful views of the lake. We were pumped to go swim, until all 5 of us had swimmer's itch within 20 minutes of entering the lake. We wish we would've known ahead of time as we would've done an alternate activity! We swim in lakes often, but this one really took a toll on us quickly!

Thank you for your review. The late night fires are not the problem. The drinking and loud noise is the problem, as we have a very strictly enforced quiet time. We hope you can give us a try again knowing that we are not a late night party spot but instead a family park

If you are looking for an all inclusive type of camping experience this is it. There is lots of amenities like playground with zipline, game room, water rentals, camp store, bike paths into town. However campers are stacked on top of each other leaving little privacy, more like a resort and less like actual nature type camping. Just depends on the type of camping you prefer. We visit 2x a summer for long weekends with a group of campers and position the campers to offer more privacy. We really enjoy the tiki beach bar!

Lynn Ann's is fantastic campground- a slice of heaven up north! Our family of 5- two adults and three children (9,9,8) just returned from a 7 day stay ay Lynn Ann's and have nothing but wonderful memories and positive things to say! We had a campfire EVERY night as did most others with absolutely no troubles at all.
The campground itself is nestled into a beautiful, quiet setting on a dead end road on the south shore of Big St. Germain lake. It is centrally located with easy drives to Eagle River, Minoqua, and surrounding areas. It is also right on the beautiful St. Germain trail system. Everything about this campground is incredibly clean and tidy even though it was 99% occupied the entire time we were there. The sites are large and mostly shaded and cater to both large motor home rigs and small tents.
There is a nice sandy beach with clear water for swimming. The swimming area also has some floating mats and a large blow up toy- which was fun for both kids and adults alike! On nice nights, they open up the tiki bar which is right on the water and attracts people from around the lake. While the kids are swimming, there are several colorful Adirondack chairs for relaxing.
Lynn Ann's offers many rentals- kiddy boats and kayaks, kayaks, SUPs, canoes, fishing boats, bikes, pontoons, for very reasonable prices. They have their own marina/ lagoon area with several docks to park your boat and get gas. They also sell bait and everything you might have forgotten in the camp store.
This is a wonderful campground for families and kids. There is is very little outside traffic which makes it safe for kids to ride their bikes and explore the campground. Besides the excellent swimming and rentals, they have a zip line for the kids and a small but efficient game room. The game room is only open from 6:30PM-10PM which we actually appreciated as parents only having to get harassed for quarters once a day!
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. All it takes is one quick glance around to see how much they care about their establishment and customers.
I could say so much more... If you are thinking of camping at Lynn Ann's- DO IT! You will have no regrets. Lynn Ann's we miss you already and can't wait to come back!!!

My husband has vacationed on Big St Germain Lake since he was 3 years old, and we have been camping at Lynn Ann's Campground on the south shore of that lake since 1980. It is very family friendly. The sites are rustic with sandy ground that drains well, which we prefer to a cement pad. There are sites by the lake for tenters or self-contained rigs that don't need a sewer hook-up and sites with full hook-ups on top of the hill. The campground has a little store with basic groceries, fishing equipment, beach toys, and the only gas for boats on the lake. Most sites have lots of shade during the day. All sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. The campground has a beautiful sand beach for swimming with rafts to play on. There is a playground for children and a game room open in the evenings. They rent fishing boats and equipment for water skiing and tubing, and also have pontoon boats to rent. If you don't have your own tent or camper, the campground has several rental trailers which sleep 6-8 people and have a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lynn Ann's is the perfect place to escape from the city noise and traffic for a relaxing vacation.
