My extended family (usually 20+) have been vacationing in Saint Germain for over 25 years. We moved to Cedaroma in 2022, have gone there each year since, and plan to continue going there for the foreseeable future. This year (2024) was our first under the new management. The new team didn’t skip a beat. We had 5 cabins and were all very happy with the accommodations. We also rented 2 pontoon boats which were in good shape (one was new!) and enjoyed the beach, playground, and the large pier with great sunset views. We had no problems from booking through departure, and the owners were always available and responsive when questions arose. We have 6 cabins reserved for 2025, so we’re clearly very happy with the resort.

Our family LOVES this resort, we were there Memorial Weekend 2024. The cottages are clean and well equipped (kitchen supplies, TV, shampoo/conditioner, bath towels, bedding, dishwasher). The cottages have great Wi-Fi (along with the outdoor areas). The lake is shallow near shore with a wonderful sandy bottom and beach area. There are plenty of docks with lots of chairs to sit on, to fish off of, or to take in the spectacular sunsets. There's a conveniently located fish cleaning house (if you are lucky to catch some keepers) and boats/pontoons available for lake fishing or playing. There is a resort campfire area for S'mores, sand play area with swings, paddle boards & kayaks, grills, picnic tables... There is a walking/biking trail within walking distance. I really can't think of anything that needed improvement... The town of St. Germain (groceries/bakery, gas, shops, restaurants) is close by. The owners are friendly and are always easy to find if you should need anything! We are definitely going back.

What a wonderful stay. We found Cedaroma after searching for a pet friendly location with lakefront access. We have two small dogs that loved staying here! We stayed in Cabin 10 by the lake.
It has beautiful views and a nice amount of privacy. Cabin 10 has a large yard and expansive lake views. There’s a lot of parking and also no neighbors super close compared to the other homes. While it was just the two of us and our dogs, we loved having the extra space, laundry, gas FP, and beautiful view. The front porch was covered so while it drizzled we still were able to sit outside and enjoy nature. Altogether, there’s a lot of sleeping space as the lower level has an entire bathroom and additional sleeping space with its own private entrance. Something important to note would be that the stairs inside to get to the LL are a small spiral staircase- likely not conducive for small kids or people with mobility challenges. The separate entrance from outside is nice for this reason.
This rental was impressively clean when we arrived and have no complaints about cleanliness or quality of the home features!
The service was great although we didn’t need anything during our stay. We have not stayed here during the peak season but imagine it would be awesome with so many activities available.
These cabins are managed by Vacasa so there are very specific amenities included - on par with what is included with all Vacasa rentals. Based on what’s included we’d suggest bringing your own pillows if you are specific on pillow type, and also bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body soap. There were plenty of towels available and having laundry onsite was a great feature.
The location is wonderful as it’s close to anything needed in town, and also a quick drive to nearby towns such as Eagle River and Woodruff. There is a fantastic paved bike trail just across the street that’s easy to get to!
We look forward to coming back and enjoying this spot during the summer months!!

Rented cabin 7 for a snowmobile trip. Kris was very accommodating and the cabin was very clean and nice. Plenty of parking for our large snowmobile trailers and the snowmobile trail was an easy short distance across the lake they are on. Fireplace was on ready for us to enjoy.

Cedarama was excellent. We stayed here back in 2022 and again in 2024 and enjoyed our stay both times and will book here again. Josh and Kris tended to all our needs and requests. They helped us with renting a pontoon for the week and provided excellent service refilling gas, making sure we had life jackets and provided us with hammocks to try out during our stay. Our family has vacationed in St Germain for decades. This was our third year in a row at Cedaroma, which we were lucky to find when our previous resort was sold off. Twenty eight of us descended on the new owners, spread out over five cabins. We were warmly welcomed by Kris & Josh, and they worked hard to ensure we had all we needed and were happy. We were! They really went above and beyond, as they could’ve been wary of such a large group practically taking over the resort. We work hard at being respectful and considerate- and have raised our kids & grandkids accordingly. Other reviews have shared the amenities, the awesome new pontoons available to rent (do it!), the cozy cabins, the Yoga classes and bikes available. More than we had time to take advantage of. After losing our former resort after 28 years, we were devastated, but Cedaroma and the new owners have made it possible for us to continue this family tradition into the future. Next year we’re adding one more cabin! Thank you Kris & Josh. Great work, and we wish you continued success. See you next year!

We have vacationed at Cedaroma for the past four years. Our experience with the new owners (Josh & Kris) was great! They are trying very hard to make positive changes to accommodate all ages. The cabins were clean and well equipped. We were well supplied with linens. The wifi was excellent. The beach was groomed everyday. There was a large enclosed swimming area for young children. Josh and Kris were always available if needed. We are definitely coming back next year. We highly recommend Cedaroma!

Spent 5 nights in the log house #11 with the guys on our anual ice fishing trip. There were 8 of us and the house worked out perfect. There were plenty of beds, and plenty of space. Lynn was great and even had a path to the lake plowed out for us in the 18 plus inches of snow after our 4 wheelers got stuck trying to pull our trailers onto the lake. Definately would recommend and we are already booked for next year.

Our vacation plans were cancelled due to the virus, so we found this little gem which was well within driving distance of southern Wisconsin and northern IL where our group was coming from. We stayed for four nights and had a spectacular time! The property is beautiful and serene. They offer so many activities for all ages! We were in cabin 9 which was just off the road, yet peaceful and somewhat isolated. The lake was a pleasant hike through the woods on a smooth path. Along the way we were delighted to see deer and other wildlife meandering without a care. The lake offered lots of free paddle boards, kayaks, rowboats, and a paddle boat. There was ample lounging and fishing area from the docks. There was a beautiful floating dock with hammocks and a swimming platform for jumping and rowdiness. We took advantage of the opportunity to rent one of the pontoon boats. We trolled to the far end to the dock access to the ice cream shop, stopping to fish along the way. We are not expert fishers at all, but caught some small pan fish which was fun-enough for us. We returned home to eat supper, then went back out for a bit more fishing and a stunning cruise at sunset. Lynn was incredibly attentive to anything we needed and can suggest an amazing dining option! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only minor downfall would be that the kitchen sink water is only sporadically hot and the stove was also not as hot as we might have preferred, but don’t let those things dissuade you! We were able to work around them with little difficulty. This place is a gem! Don’t pass it by!

Our family of five had cabin #5. Wonders. Great air conditioning, a dishwasher, electric fire place if you need it, great amount of windows to catch fresh air, nice enclosed porch and outside deck and good T.V. channels.
Towels, linens, all necessary kitchen appliances, grill, deck chairs, porch table, back off lake with a view of the lake and beautiful tall pine trees, bicycles for use, kayaks, canoes, boats, two floating docks to walk to and various other amenities. And pontoons to pre reserve.
Well kept grounds, a small sandy walk to the docks, safe for children. But also can jump off the back end of the floating docks. A great view across the lake and of a sunset. Peaceful with a more mellow group of adults and controlled children. The owners are ALL WAYS easy to contact and very helpful. They run the place like they are totally happy and in love with people and their property.
We have stayed at four other resorts on Little St. Germain Lake and two house rentals. This was the best. Not just voted on by me, but the entire family. Not only will we return, I would recommend this resort to a good bunch of people.
Didn't fish but rented a pontoon one day, and enjoyed diving and swimming in deeper but very calm waters. I'll say Amen now private message me with any question.
