Took my granddaughter on a trip up north. We stayed with Dorothy and Don and we could not have been happier. The hosts were very friendly and enjoyable. They took the time to show us the inner workings of their farm. It was exactly what I was looking for. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best. We both hope to return again very soon.

So much to love about this place. Started with a fantastic tour of the farm with Dorothy. She is so knowledgeable about all facets of farming life so we were able to learn so much in a short amount of time. We had the opportunity to feed some baby calves and play with some kittens. Room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we purchased some of their grass fed beef. Overall it was a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Dorothy and Don were amazing hosts as they made us feel right at home. The room was by far the best "hotel room" we have ever stayed in as it was very clean and very quiet. The breakfasts were very good and fancy too. Dorothy was always right there to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable. The farm is also close enough to several State Parks and natural areas. Learning about how a dairy farm operates was quite interesting for city folks and watching the cattle graze in their pastures was quite calming. Excellent stay, thank you!

I can't say enough about this Bed & Breakfast. Dorothy was very welcoming when we arrived. She knew it was a special occasion for us so she gave us some flowers and delicious fudge, which was very much appreciated. (I happened to mention ahead of time that I was going to bring wine). The room was wonderful, with a beautiful view of acres and acres of farmland. It was so relaxing coming from the city. The next morning Dorothy made this incredible breakfast, and I'm not one to take pictures of food, but I had to in this case. (After I download the pics I'll try to attach it to this review.) Anyway, it was delicious. After breakfast, Dorothy took us on a tour of the farm where I learned an awful lot about dairy farming. I loved every minute. After the tour, my wife and I just walked the grounds, which was nice. It's only about a half-hour from Spring Green, and maybe an hour or so from Galena (maybe a little longer), so we went to both places that weekend. I lived out west for a few years and loved the wide open space; now that I found Valley Springs Farm B&B, I plan to go back at least once a year!

Dorothy and Don made us feel at home. Our daughter dreams of being a dairy farmer one day, and wanted to learn as much as possible about the farm. Dorothy and Don gave us a great tour of the farm, and let us tag along (and even help a little!) on all of the chores. The highlight was bottle feeding one of the calves! We both learned so much, and had a great time.
