My husband and I had stayed here in March 2011. We have never been to a b&b before, and we were pleasantly surprised by Mary Jane and Steve. Mary Jane was amazingly helpful and friendly, and they gave us all the privacy we wanted. Breakfast was delicious, and they had plenty of suggestions of attractions and restaurants in the area. The room was incredibly comfortable and cozy, and we loved having the gas stove on at night after lounging in the tub. All in all, our first b&b experience was delightful thanks to our wonderful hosts! I would definitely recommend the Tauscheck's to a friend. There's not a lot to do in the surrounding towns in winter, so its the perfect place to "hide" for a couple days!

This is one of the best B&Bs you'll ever visit. The accommodations are exquisite in design and comfort. Steve and Mary Jane are hosts extra-ordinaire who will go out of their way to make your stay most enjoyable. Staying at Tauscheks is staying with friends. We have stayed there multiple times and would not want to stay anywhere else.....

My absolute favorite B&B is Tauschek's B&B Log Home in Plymouth, Wisconsin. My husband enjoys playing golf in Kohler, Wisconsin, and I knew that meant we could revisit Tauschek's B&B in Plymouth, Wisconsin. From the minute you meet Maryjane and Steve, you know you are staying with friends. Their B&B is gorgeous and located in a beautiful part of Wisconsin. Everything is provided to make sure your stay is comfortable and inviting. The rooms are beautiful with every possible amenity you could want. You're welcome to snacks, coffee, tea, etc. whenever you want. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty. As I said, this is absolutely my favorite B&B!

I was planning on staying at a normal hotel because I was only in town for a single night. I sure in glad I did not do that. when I arrived the owner was very welcoming. The place was very clean and had a strong "like Home" feel. My room (the moose room) was very nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable. It was quiet at night and was super peaceful. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty, I walked away from the table stuffed. I have stated in many standard hotels before, my experience there was by far the best. I will for sure try to find a reason to stay there again!!!!

The B&B is located in a quiet area of Plymouth WI and has lovely and spacious grounds, including a fire pit in the back yard. There is a great room with a large fire place and plenty of space, as well as a flat screen tele and DVD player. It is a good gathering place for guests and quite comfortable. The whole is built of pine logs by the owner, and the wood interior has charm and warmth as well as large windows and an interior balcony.
Of the 4 rooms, only 3 can be recommended, since one is small with WC down the hall. There was a frig in the room and bottled water is amply furnished.
The owners were friendly and helpful in suggesting places to visit and to eat as well as the other guests.
Snacks are provided but all are sweet (candy, cookies) except for nuts. Coffee & tea available 24/7 with the Keurig.

The essential issue with this place as far as we were concerned is that there is no choice at breakfast, and the meal tends to be heavy: sausage, rolls, eggs, scones etc. no yogurt, jam or good bread, for example. The meal (mainly bacon & eggs) is cooked fresh; however, if you want something else, there is no option. The coffee is excellent.

My husband & I stayed two nights at Tauschek's B&B during the PGA Championship in nearby Kohler. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. Separate bathroom and separate room controlled heat/air conditioning. Steve (owner) was very friendly and accommodating. There is obvious pride in ownership. The attention to the little details is great. I loved sitting in the great room reading my book in the afternoon. We will go back.

This was our third stay with MaryJane and Steve. We understand why the breakfast table is full of repeat customers. The Tauschek's are very accommodating to your needs and you do feel so relaxed and comfortable at their place that it actually feels like home.

One aspect of this Bed N Breakfast that you may not know is its great location. We rented all 4 rooms and we had the place to ourselves this past summer with our extended family. What a wonderful time we had with daily happy hour on their deck overlooking the horses, meadows and woods that surround their property. Not to mention a fire pit lined with comfortable seating for everyone.

From their home, we enjoyed many activities within a 3 mile radius. We biked the country roads, kayaked on Elkhart Lake and Crystal Lake, went to dinner in Elkhart Lake, rented a ski boat on Elkhart, took a horse drawn carriage ride, went to motorcycle races at Road America, walked the Ice Age Trail just down the road, and also walked the 4 mile route around Elkhart Lake.

Lots to do........... and a then a great bed and home to come back to. Planning our next stay with some of our other family members this year.

2 trips there for SCCA National Championship Sports Car Racing at Road America. The track is about 5 minutes away, if you drive slow! Clean, wonderful owners, best place to stay in the area. Can't recommend highly enough.
First time I've stayed in a B & B, so was surprised and pleased with the experience.

This is the first time we ever stayed at a B and B. When I saw the picture online, it looked so beautiful, that I booked our stay. When we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful, friendly and extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious. We have since been back several times and each time, we've made new friends. I can't say enough about the Tauschek's and their beautiful log home. Anyone staying here won't be disappointed.
