This place is beautiful! Feels like our own cabin getaway. Spacious rooms, cozy common area with fireplace and leather lounging chairs. Great hospitality from the host. Good hub for every destination in Sheboygan County.
We happened to find this lovely B&B when planning a trip to RA for the Vintage Car Races! How lucky we were they had a cancellation (it books up!!!) and I can't tell you how grateful I am! The home is spacious with beautiful log decor, gorgeous view of the rolling hills, and spotless! Michelle, the hostess, was truly a delight! Michelle has grown up in the area so she gave us great advice from where to eat for dinner in Elkhart Lake to what little country roads to ride our bikes on! And breakfast was delicious and amazing! We met some other vintage car aficionados at the breakfast table- who then we bumped into at the track and we had some fun conversations with them, although some of it went over my head ! Book here if you get the chance!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Lodge Inn (formerly named Tauschek B&B). The gorgeous huge pine log home is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were scrumptious! Michelle is a gracious and helpful host. Every morning she served us a delicious multi-course breakfast with very generous portions. We had complimentary coffee all day long at the coffee bar in the dining room, and snack everyday on the kitchen table. Our room was very clean, with fresh white linens, a comfy king sized bed with plenty of fluffy pillows, and a great jacuzzi tub. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a relaxing getaway!
If you want to unwind in a stunning, spacious log cabin with outstanding views of a horse pasture and woodlands, this is the place. Steve and Mary Jane created this refuge and loved opening their doors and their hearts to guests for over a decade. Now Michelle continues the tradition with a welcoming and sincere smile, genuine care and to-die-for breakfasts. This bed and breakfast is still immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and a pleasure to return to after the day's explorations. There are superb restaurants, hiking trails, Christmas fairs, cheese stores, and art events to experience with 30 minutes in any direction. That's why we keep returning year after year.
The whole atmosphere was great! The owner, Michele, was wonderful and had a great balance of being helpful and attentive, but also giving us space as a couple. She is delightful to talk with! The house and room were wonderfully decorated, clean, and there is an attention to detail. The upstairs rooms are large with king sized beds, double whirlpool tubs and a fireplace! The breakfasts were delicious and Michele went the extra mile to accommodate us! Her living quarters are in the lowest level of the house and therefore guests have use of the large living room with a big stone fireplace (ground level) and wonderful view to the back overlooking a field of horses! I highly recommend B&B!
