Detailed Reviews
Room was very clean. No issues with staff. Pool was open until 11 which was nice as we had a room right off the pool. The same girl that checked is in was the one that closed the pool. We asked if we could be in the pool area after close as our rooms were connected. She informed us that we could not and that they usually have people who try and the hotel really can't have it. It was nice to see a young person who seemed to care about her job and the business she worked for. I'm not sure if she was a supervisor but she seemed to deserve the title. Thank you for the stay.

I absolutely love this place! It feels like home away from home! Breakfast is delicious every morning and the nature feel is like therapy for my soul. Colt is always very helpful and hospitable delivering world class customer service going above and beyond ensuring that I have a high quality and comfortable experience. He has to be that super cool distant cousin that I never met lol. The staff is very friendly as Shayna always smiles the light of day! Keep up the great work team Wildwood!!!

Against my better judgement, we changed our reservation at the last minute for this hotel instead of the Marriott West to save a little money. The mixed reviews online are absolutely accurate.
The staff is friendly and while the place is technically "clean" it's badly in need of updates. The carpets, the shower curtains, the towels (had holes in them - like cigarette burns almost), the heater, the paint and wallpaper. It looks like it's never had updates.
Not all plugs actually work unless switches are on - watch that for your phones!
Heating unit is incredibly noisy!
Hotel hot tub heater is mixed at best - it was like taking a warm bath at best. They said the heater isn't working consistently.
It feels like a hotel for locals to take their kids in the winter to give them a pool break. And for that, sure. But if you're a traveler looking for respite while away for work, family or other events, this just isn't that nice of a space. I would not stay here again, no matter the price.

I could not have asked for better "customer service". I had to change my stay right after I made the reservation and was treated in a very pleasant and professional manner. On the 2nd day of my stay I needed to extend my stay by 1 day, and again, I was treated in a very pleasant and professional manner. I want to thank Josh and Amanda for their friendliness and professionalism. The only complaint I have, and I do believe it to be a major safety issue, is the bathtub. When stepping in the tub I slipped in a major way, banging my shin on the side of the tub. I was able to stop myself from falling all of the way into the tub, which would have resulted in my hitting my head. I then took a hand towel and put it on the bottom of the tub every time I took a shower.

So there I was... Friday night, depression creeping in again. Tomorrow I have to bury my Grandma. She was 95 and a hell of a woman. So I walk up to the counter, barely paying attention, and I hear the voice of an angel say, "Welcome to the Wildwood, how may I be of service, Mr. Edgette?" The voice came from Josh, the front desk attendant. My first thought was, how the hell does this guy know my name? My second thought was, that's the most accommodating voice I've heard in months. Lord knows I haven't heard something like that out of my wife's mouth I years. Anyway, I was taken aback with the extra effort Josh made to make us feel comfortable and I came out of my catatonic state long enough to feign a smile and look deep into his eyes to do an ocular patdown to see that it was 100% genuine. Josh made sure we had everything we needed and a weight was lifted off my shoulders immediately. Maybe I can make things work with my wife after all. Anyway, thanks for the great attitude and monk-like calm from the one and only Josh, this is the best trip I've had out of the comfort of my home in some time.

I selected this hotel based on price and location, and was rewarded with a lovely stay. The Wildwood Lodge is the kind of property other independent hotels aspire to be, and they do it without the resources of a national brand. Even though this is not a luxury accommodation, it was clean, very comfortable, and met my needs as a basic business traveler. I would like to specifically recognize staff members Josh and Amanda for their outgoing and courteous manner. They each left me feeling like whatever I needed would be handled with a smile. Well done!

I stayed at Wildwood Lodge in Pewaukee Wi for business the end of August 2022. I had to bring my new rescue dog because I am trying to save his eyesight. The staff welcomed me and my fur baby with smiles and open arms. I was so relieved when I had to leave my dog in the hotel room. The staff reassured me that they will listen for him and if he is crying, they would call me. That was such a big relief to not have to worry about him when I was training for my new job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dustan, Amanda, Josh, Michelle and Colt! I hope to visit you all again. All the way around, it was an honor to meet all of you. Great People!

The front desk attendant, Josh, made our stay a great experience. He was always available for requests and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful trip. He made sure to check on our party whether we were in the lobby, at the bar, in our rooms, or at the pool. These extra efforts were greatly appreciated. Thanks Josh!

We have stayed t this hotel before and been really pleased, but this time was awful. We arrived on Sunday and after getting settled I entered the bathroom and there it was a coachroach running around on the sink. I immediately got rid of it and knew where there is one there are more. I told my husband and we went to the front desk only to be told they had no place for us and it couldn't be a roach no one has ever complained about roaches. It was 11:30 at night so we really were torn as to what to do. We decided to stay and hopefully we would figure something out in the morning. Guess what there was another one and this time I took pictures before destroying it. In the morning I shared the pictures with the manager only to be told that it was a roach it was a 'pine beetle' . I looked up the so called 'pine beetle' and guess what NO such thing even resembled the picture. The staff at this location are rude, incompetent, and plain ignorant. My husband and I will never stay here again and will make sure anyone we know thinking about won't either. We also ended up with water leaking from the bathtub all over the bathroom floor (not due to being overfilled either) which was also addressed with mangement and once again it was shrugged off. All in all the whole experience was extremely unacceptable. Please make other plans.
