Detailed Reviews
Our first time there for a family canoe trip, we had the apartment and three units. It was perfect, walking distance to canoe rentals and two great bars / supper clubs. The setup is is great with a patio in front and a campfire area in back. Staff / owners are great, very clean !! Gas station next door if you need anything which was quite useful. We are booking every year now, renting the whole building. "Norwegian Luau Family"

+1
The Driftwood is a great place to stay. Very close to kayak rentals on the Kickapoo river. The motel has 7 rooms. Not fancy by any means, but clean and comfortable. Very reasonable price. Great customer service. The Wild Cat Bar and Grill has great food and is a block away. We will stay here again next year for our kayak weekend.

If you are looking for a place to stay while in Ontario while you're canoeing the Kickapoo River or visiting the local scenery, the Driftwood Inn Motel is a nice place to stay.
The rooms are simple and feature either twin or double beds. Each room has a small flat screen TV mounted on the wall, small mini-fridge, and heating and air conditioning. The bathroom has a vanity area with a separated toilet and shower so two people could get ready at the same time. There is also a handicap room available.
The innkeeper, Rosella, is available 24/7 to accommodate you with anything you could need. She will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. We have stayed at this motel three times and each time she always blows up an extra air mattress, usually because we book all the rooms and she would never want someone to sleep on the floor. She goes above and beyond whether it be the air mattress, or offering to wash your clothes after a canoe trip at one of the near by canoe rental locations. In the morning she offers coffee and a microwave for everyone's use.
There is plenty of parking in front of the Motel, along with more parking in the back.
The Motel is located in the middle of the Village. Next door to the Motel is a gas station with a small liquor store attached. It is also in walking distance from the local cafe or root beer stand. Directly across the street is the town square which consists of a large field, baseball diamond, and playground area. Across is the community hall with basketball courts next door. If you're there on a saturday, there is also a small farmer's market in the street.
Overall, a very nice place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend during my family reunion we had in Ontario, WI. It was more of an overflow since all cabins were full however it turned out to be a great option.
The Rooms are nice, newer beds and decor making it a nice place to stay. The beds were a little hard but no real complaint as i just prefer softer mattresses. nice sized mini frig to store all of our cheese we bought in Cashton, WI. only real disappointment was the TV and its channels, was only like 2 channels to watch at night when going to bed rest were infomercials and shopping channels.
However the real star of this stay was Rosella, she was fantastic. I work for a Marriott and and it was nice to see someone care about the guests as much as we do. Rosella would bend over backwards to get you anything you needed no matter what time it was. Any time we needed directions, we had them given to us from memory. When we are outside as a family just enjoying the morning, she was out there hanging out getting to know us like we were family.
If you need a place to stay, stay here because its just overall a great place for a small town motel. Thanks Rosella for the awesome weekend!

Justin, Thank you for staying with us earlier this month. It is nice that someone appreciates good customer service and lets people know about it. Rosella does a great job and it was rewarding for me to be able to pass your kind words on to her. Groups like yours are a pleasure to have at the motel and we invite you back anytime in the future. We were in the area for cheese curds and a getaway. We ended up in Ontario, where we have been several times before, but this time we stayed at the Driftwood because our camping days are over. Clean, comfortable, reasonable. Not a bed bug in sight. The beds were very comfortable and the town is just delightful. Everyone waves at you! The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Right in town, clean and updated. Not high end finishes but nice. My expectations were exceeded and it was reasonably priced. I think there is a total of 7 rooms. Great service. Excellent water pressure. Has a communal coffee maker. Slept well after a 12 mile trip down the Kickapoo river.

Stayed here after riding motorcycles all day.
It rained over night and when we went out the next morning the staff had laid out towels for us to use to dry our bikes. You don’t see that level of attention and service often.
Reasonably priced and well maintained

This small little town was so quaint. We were in town for a wedding and I'm happy we found this place. It's affordable and the lady at the front desk is so sweet and nice. Clean and comfy and has everything you'll need. No wifi, but you don't come out here for signal.
Right down the street from a little diner too, so very convenient. We love the outdoors, so if we're ever in town, we'll stay here.
