We checked in at 8:30 pm. Greeted pleasantly. He asked if I needed hairdryer and promptly gave me one. Asked about coffee and I said yes and he offered to carry it to the room and show us where it was. Our room was clean and fresh. Everything worked fine and our beds were amazing to sleep on. Air conditioned... More

This place is absolutely disgusting! Filthy! Room was dirty including bathroom, sheets and bed spread were not clean. Dirty glass on night stand. Had an intruder get into my room at 2:00 AM. Lobby was dirty. Manager was anything but helpful. Beer cans and cigarette butts were strewn all over the outside premises, dumpster was overflowing with garbage. Deplorable in... More

What can ya expect from 63 bucks. I mean it had a little bit of a spunky smell to it. Hallways were dark and has some nasty parts to it. The person who checked me in I couldn't understand a word she was saying. But it is close to gas stations and a grocery store. And our bed was comfortable.... More

The place needs to be closed down. It's in such disrepair I am surprised they rent rooms. The hallways are dark because lights are out. The walls and floors and dirty, stained, half painted. There is a pipe sticking out of the floor in our room connected to nothing. The duvet is super old and crusty. Literally like sandpaper. But... More

I chose this place because it's close to my workplace. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy!! In addition, I have access to laundry, ice, vending products and management is always available if needed. Recently, my power went out late at night and he had it back on for me within minutes. Friendly, staff, real nice area. Close... More

I have stayed at the Karakahl Inn on numerous occasions when bicycling in the Mt. Horeb area. The Inn is conveniently located off of Hwy 151 and dining establishments in Mt. Horeb. The rooms are spacious without a lot of unnessary frills. The proprietor Paresh, is responsive to your needs.

This place is creepy!! Dark hallways with no lights on made parts of the hotel feel abandoned. The sheets were torn as well as the curtains. Even the wallpaper was coming off the walls. The furniture was dusty and very worn and it felt like there was sand in the drawers. We planned to stay 3 nights but checked out... More

I found myself on an elongated business trip to Wisconsin. I needed excellent lodging at a reasonable price for several weeks. I ended up at the Karakahl Country Inn and it provided the things I was looking for: A big room. I like space. A clean room. I guess I like clean. And friendly staff. I like people, and it's... I was in the region for the UGM meeting. By the time I decided to attend, all hotels were completely booked. Those that had a few rooms left were asking for exorbitant rates. Motels that nominally charge around $70 were asking for close to $400! Found this place through Google. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive after reading... More

Even though it is not one of the newer chain motels, the Karakahl has all the amenities but the rooms are quite large and the rates are reasonable. The staff is very kind and courteous, and they have provided everything we have asked for in what has been a three-week stay. I recommend this inn for anyone who needs loding... More
