We had a Great Time Labor Day Weekend at Lake Du Bay Shores. Campsites were large and well maintained. Clean bathrooms and showers. The store onsite sold a lot of items you might forget at home. If you buy firewood they are nice and deliver it right to your site. They had a DJ both nights and we enjoyed the... More

When we arrived, the woman in the office was very accommodating to us. We wanted to switch the three sites they gave us for three others that would give us the "community camping" we were looking for. The grounds were well kept and the bathroom facilities clean. We enjoyed the nature trail for our morning walks the DJ in the... More

We are a big rig pulling a tow vehicle. Reserved a pull-through site that was supposed to have sat TV coverage. Although we were able to pull through into the site it was only because the site next to ours was unoccupied. Trees obscured the sight lines for satellite TV. No sewer at site despite being called "full hookup". Water... More

Even a written contract didn't matter. I paid $2400 for a seasonal site and was open from the start. I was staying alone for one month as I am relocating to the area. When I requested a car pass for my 19 year old daughter to stay with me because she had gotten a job in the area they said... More

We stayed in the motel room. It was really nice. Looked like a cabin inside. It had a nice kitchenette, good size bathroom and a wonderful view of the lake. Concerns were the 4 dead trees right outside our room, missing shingles or no shingles. The up keep of the property was poor. No beach. The owners hospitality is questionable.

I Don’t understand all of the negativity about this campground. I camped here with my family on the 4th of July and found it to be a lot of fun. The Security is excellent, bathrooms were clean, and the nights were quiet and this with the park being close to full. Only talked with the owners once and found them... More

Please ! Never rent a pontoon boat from this place. I rented it unseen for the 4th of July 2015 and when I went to pay $205.00 plus the $200.00 deposit) and check in the staff were very unfriendly and rude. When they finally showed us the boat we did not think it would even float! The boat was dirty... More

We were visiting relatives in the area and they fish on the lake. They wanted us to camp there without ever really checking the place out. The website looked pretty good. What a mistake. Everything everyone has said is true. We have a 42' fifth wheel. They were going to put us on a site that we would have been... More

We rented this for a weekend with friends and when we walked in was met with a terrible sewage scent. That required a run to kmart for deodorizer and lysol. It was filthy and the campground is a dump. No beach as it says on the map, downed trees people were camping around and they rationed toilet paper for us... More

Everyone who wrote before me wrote the truth. Your not supposed to check out the camp sites before you rent one. You must go to office first ad get a car pass. Standing at counter mid sentence, a permenant camper comes in and we are ignored. 20$ fee to tie the boat up for the night???? Really? Bathrooms are nasty... More
