The staff was phenomenal! The room was very clean, and the layout was outstanding. The view from the deck and the windows overlooked Lake Minocqua and trees brilliantly glowing with fall color. What a lovely "home base" for our adventuring to waterfalls and hiking trails! In the interest of keeping up with maintenance, the parking lot was being torn up and redone. The staff totally stepped up and took extra care so the guests had minimal inconvenience, which we found very comforting. Our two-night fall getaway was absolutely five-star perfect!

Very nice place right on the water. Nice area with picnic tables etc. We had a little balcony that faced the street. One thing to note there are no elevators and we were two flights of stairs down from the parking lot. So if you struggle to carry your luggage make sure to ask for a room on the main level. Breakfast was adequate and had to be carried back to the room which was fine. Rooms were noisy just from other guests moving around. Bring a fan to limit the noise. It is nicely located within walking distance to downtown. Staff was friendly.

Basic but good location. Walkable to town and restaurants. View of the lake. Basic hotel but clean and suite-like rooms. ‘Breakfast included’ was prepackaged muffins and waffle maker (if I remember correctly). No place to sit for breakfast so each room has a tray to enable you to bring your breakfast back to your room.

This is our 3rd stay. We stayed in room 1015 which had a great view of the lake. One of the BBQ grills was right outside our patio. Open the door walk out and grill lunch & dinner. The path from the back of the property is a quick walk to town across the bridge. If you don’t want to walk to town on Sunday & Wednesday you can watch the Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Show from the pier. It’s not “up close and personal”, but it’s still a good view. They keep the grounds well maintained. They clean the grills on a regular basis. We are planning to come back again.

Every interaction with the woman at the front desk was down right inhospitable and unwelcoming. It is a shame that is the front line for such a wonderful hotel. It’s over priced for what you get, but competitive with the other quasi luxury hotels in the area.

Great location, well appointed room, and great staff ! I stayed in room 3023 which had a great view of the lake and perfect location for the path from the back of the property to town. It was quiet and away from most of the other guests. The room has plenty of room and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A five minute walk across the bridge puts you in the island town of Minocqua without having to look for parking! About the room, I would only add that though the location was great, hauling luggage in and out did require a good amount of stairs. I didn’t mind but if you don’t like stairs, be sure to mention that so the hotel can pick room that accommodates that. I would definitely stay again and recommend this to others.

I planned for this weekend back in January and glad so glad I did. The entire facility is immaculate inside and out. The staff could not be any more friendly , helpful and informative! A smaller condo style hotel that is extremely comfortable and welcoming. I believe I counted 10 WEBER gas grills on the property for guest use. Nice chairs with each unit and each unit has balcony/deck. Great for that morning coffee. Retirement mornings never felt so good! I love Minocqua! Thank you POINTE HOTEL YOU ARE THE BEST! Can't wait for a next visit and adventure in the north woods!!!

The room and the whole hotel were clean and very well kept. Our view was delightful and sunrises are beautiful. The air conditioning unit is in the living room and doesn't really get around the corner to the bedroom. Fortunately, the Pointe provides a fan and we had a long extension cord with us to move the cool air to the bedroom. The location is great as it is about as close to everything that you would want and do not hear traffic noise or see any traffic at all. The grab-n-go breakfast had waffles and juice and encouraged you to take the food to your room (post covid) and provided trays to carry that back to your room. The room and kitchen had everything we needed for a long weekend of relaxation.
