This us the second time we've stayed here and it's a great place. Dog friendly, spacious and welcoming. The Waterpark and game room would be a treat if you had kiddos for entertaining. We had our furbabies and requested a lower level room with a walkout entrance which is awesome for midnight 'walks'. The rooms are great, clean, and we'll appointed. I was a little disappointed that the bar & restaurant were still not open, but due to circumstances and lack of staffing, completely understand. Maybe it was listed somewhere that it's closed and I missed it, but if we had Littles and were counted on it, I would of been disappointed. Not the case for us and went down the road to The Boathouse which is becoming a favorite of ours as well. It's a great place, great price and love the location!…
The staff was warm and friendly upon arrival. The rooms were clean and warm. Hotel decor was fitting for the area. The beds were very comfortable. The shower water had good pressure and was warm. Nice breakfast included with room.
As soon as I entered the room for the first time, I lifted toilet set to find dried bloody pee and pubic hair on the seat, I was so disgusted!! Also trash and hair on bedsheets…absolutely unacceptable
My brother and I stayed two nights at the Waters. The facility was quiet and peaceful despite Fall Ride activities in the area, and with a healthy number of bikers staying at the resort. Check-in was efficient. We enjoyed room 340 - I always prefer being on the top floor to avoid 'heavy walkers' making noise above. The room was at the end of the hall, so easy access to stairwell down to our vehicle. The hot tub is terrific! It was 48F Saturday morning, and transitioning from the indoor half of the hot tub to the outside half was refreshing. The two queen beds were comfortable. The private balcony was awesome. There was plenty of hot water. The room was quiet (even though it faces Hwy 51). Breakfast is not very impressive (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, self-made waffles, bagles), but at least had the eggs and yogurt for some sources of protein. I didn't use the arcade, but know it would have been fun had my wife been on the trip as the arcade has skee-balls. The proximity to Holiday Acres, Minocqua Pizza, and distillery is excellent. I will definitely stay here again!…
After a very long quarantine due to Covid, I was ready to go somewhere. I started out slow and booked this hotel for two nights earlier this month. I had my dog with me. The hotel was satisfactory in all aspects except when I tried to get a receipt for my stay. I requested this at least 3 times and never did get it. No paperwork at all. I felt I got the brushoff and don't understand why this was such a difficult request. It put a damper on my stay.
