Owners John and Lisa are fabulous! I stayed for one night in Room 1800 and I wish I could move in for a month. The bed was super comfortable and the room was cozy and very Zen-like. It was nice to have a separate entrance with a private patio off the room as well. I had several friends visit for the evening and we sat outside enjoying a bottle of wine and pizza from Popolos. If you are going to visit Mineral Point, or have a quick Staycation like I did, this is the place. Oh, and I have never been a coffee drinker, but the Verena Street Mississippi Grog they offered in the morning was yummy!

Hotel's Favorite
After years of regular trips to Mineral Point for family visits, we recently discovered this gem of a boutique hotel. It is now our “go-to” place to stay. Like so many of the preserved and repurposed 19th century stone buildings in town, the hotel is full of historic character with modern conveniences. It is a perfect setting for a quiet, comfortable stay at the center of the attractions that visitors are drawn to. We loved learning from John that he has plans to bring a French theme to the lobby (music to our ears since Paris is our favorite city in the world!). He and his family are hands-on innkeepers, doing their very best to thrive in these difficult times. They deserve our patronage and support.

We absolutely loved the area of Mineral Point! This intimate historical hotel was incredible! The owners John and Lisa exceeded our expectations. The room we stayed in was extremely clean, cozy and very comfortable. John and Lisa were happy to give us recommendations to go to in the area. They are the reason why we enjoy staying in family owned smaller places compared to chain hotels. Very cool private patio, everything was thought of to give privacy to guests. We will visit again.

Had a relaxing two nights at this marvelous small boutique hotel in Mineral Point. The owners, John & Lisa, have designed a very welcoming space from the moment you enter the lobby. Our room was nicely laid out with a small balcony. If you're looking for a place to stay in the heart of Mineral Point, you can do no better than this.

Quaint, CLEAN, quiet, and relaxing place! Owner was personable, courteous, and attentive to our needs. Stayed in 1840- had a small private balcony and private bath. Would definitely return again. Thanks for your hospitality!
