The staff is both friendly and attentive, the rooms were well equipped and very clean. The parking lot is close by and the neighborhood is beautiful with many places to see in driving distance. The service and food at the restaurant was wonderful.

Can't beat the old-school charm and fantastic breakfast. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Not perfectly sound-proof, but we were not disrupted. This a a great value and a nice change from cookie-cutter chain hotels.

The staff was fine, the grill kitchen was good, and the location is handy. Staff made a mistake in the reservation and charged us for a night a week earlier. We called during the week and were told they would grant us a refund, but they did not. We had to speak with a manager again to get the refund....

Very bad shower could not regulate the water temperature either too hot or freezing cold, could not take a shower. Shower curtain in a down town hotel reminded me of going back in time to the 1970's. Should be fixed.

I won't stay anywhere else in Milwaukee. The first time I stayed at The Plaza I thought, "Stairs! Why are there stairs, why isn't there an elevator, why is there a window AC unit, where is my plush everything, what's going on?!" Then I realized it was everything I need. I like using the stairs (always working on 10,000/day). I...

Homey feeling, relaxing atmosphere. Our first floor rooms were clean but we felt holes and movement in the floors under the carpeting. My mattress was very hard. Restaurant Was slow but good, our order was mixed up but we were compef for that.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean with good quality linens, sufficient lighting, and enough kitchen supplies to make a small meal for two. The bathroom is outdated but matches the décor and I didn't mind a bit. That's why I chose this hotel. It's a bit like taking a trip to the past but in a good way....

My room (180) was very dated, especially the bathroom. Poor lighting, no shelving, tiny. Had to use toilet seat (lid down) as my shelf. Dingy, not dirty, but depressing. I don't think there is any air conditioning either. Radiator heat but didn't see duct work for air. Didn't know when booking that parking is an additional $15. Staff was nice,...

I stayed with three friends in the Plaza Suite. This is a Lovely boutique hotel. I loved the old time setting. The service was great when we asked for an extra sheet and blanket. We did not use the kitchen, but it was very nice. Everything was so clean. The breakfast is delicious with local fresh foods, however it closes...
