I am a clean freak. The room was spotless. It was not what we expected. The hotel is OLD, still uses metal door keys. Our room had a small kitchen and table. The bathroom is tiny, but adequate and clean. Nice flat screen tv. There is a grocery store across the street. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff... More

Nothing bad I can say. The room was clean, loved the kitchenette and convenience of the fridge. The location was excellent as could walk to anything and anywhere wanted to go. Staff were so nice and helpful and best of all, it was an incredible rate. What's not to like?

WE stayed at the hotel when we attended the State Fair. The hotel is in a great location and staff was very friendly. The hotel is vintage and the restaurant was very busy. We stayed in the extended stay area and the rooms are old however, they were renovated. The rooms had hardwood floors, lacked some window treatments and the... More

I stayed here while attending a conference at Milwaukee Area Tech School. The hotel is conveniently located to many good restaurants and event venues. The kitchen in the room was a great feature and there is a grocery store located very nearby to pick up anything you need. The staff was extremely helpful. The only drawback for me is that... More

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Beautiful neighborhood and close to the lake. Hotel was full and they could not find our PriceLine.com reservation but manager managed to find a room for us. Cafe entertainment was fun on the weekend.

I had a great experience at this hotel. People have complained that it is not updated. It is a historic building that has period details. If you don't appreciate a step back in time, do not stay here. We saw a Queen room on Expedia, and we walked in late in the evening and asked if they would match the... More

We stayed here while visiting MSOE. Great location in a nice area of Milwaukee. Close to restaurants and there's a market across the street. Bathroom is on the small side but otherwise the room was nice. Having a kitchen was convenient.

This hotel was a great spot for our family. Parking was easy to get to and close. The kitchen was a nice bonus to cook some meals. There is a grocery store right behind the hotel. The large refrigerator was convenient for leftovers. The bathroom sink was small. There wasn't anywhere to sit makeup. Overall great stay.

The room was charming, very clean. The only draw back being on the first floor close to the back door exist was very loud and kind of disruptive to us, but it kind of made us feel like we were back at home. The bathroom was tiny, I think my husband said it was like 5 feet by 6 feet,... More

I grew up in Milwaukee and thought I was familiar with the east side, but only learned of The Plaza Hotel two weeks ago. It's a very interesting place - a combination of hotel and apartments. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a kitchen equipped for two. The location is great, especially if you like to walk around neighborhoods.... More
