The hotel is beautiful. There were three Wedding groups the weekend we were there. We enjoyed the history of the building but it wasn't worth the high price tag for staying here. You could see most everything the hotel history has to offer in the lobby and on the 2nd (?) floor where the beer vats were. We wanted to stay in an area with lots of brewery activity within walking distance. We were lead to believe by one of the staff members there was a lot of breweries with walking distance because they were "downtown". ( We were there during Covid so none of theaters or basketball arena were open) There was one really, really nice Brewery called Milwaukee Brewing Company a few blocks away. Captain Pabst Pilot house next door was closed inside because a Wedding reserved the venue. Their bar, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub was closed. Lots going on Downtown Milwaukee. If you are in Milwaukee for activity and Breweries, stay downtown. However, it was a cheap $12.00 Uber ride downtown. They don't have parking associated with the hotel but there is a parking garage near by. There isn't in/out privileges. If you want to Valet the cost is $30. We would not recommend this area if you want to enjoy Milwaukee's brew Pubs even though it is called the Brewing district. It is named that because Pabst use to own 17 blocks in the area and not that there a lot of Breweries. Overall, we were disappointed but gave it three stars because we like the history and the beauty of the hotel.…
A friend and I planned a night out in Milwaukee and booked a room at the Brewhouse. We loved the energy and vibe of the neighborhood even before we checked in, and after we saw our room we knew we had made a fantastic choice. A floor to ceiling (VERY high ceiling, that is) window filled one whole wall of the bedroom, and there was a sitting area with kitchen as well. The beds were super comfortable and even the pillows were good (I am super fussy about my pillow). The room was clean and the bathroom was really big (this is not one of those places where your knees are hitting the tub!). The front desk staff was very friendly, too: thanks to Amy, Taylor, and the others who were so sweet. We will recommend this place to all our friends!
We were in Milwaukee for a COVID-safe bachelorette party. We stayed at the Brewhouse Inn and Suites. Our rooms were incredible! While there are a few things they are not doing due to the pandemic (no valet, no daily maid service, no hot breakfast), it is no more than most hotels are doing during these trying times. Amy who was working at the front desk when we checked in was incredible, suggesting things to do and places to eat. Our bride-to-be felt pampered and special even during a pandemic! Thanks for making the weekend great!
Love that these buildings got repurposed. Our room was clean and quiet. Not a lot of frills but I dug the industrial vibe. They kept rooms empty 24 hours between visits so not super busy and we only saw a few people there in the lobby. Free street parking over the weekend during covid just an FYI or a public lot around the corner for $20. Just thought it was worth mentioning since I thought they had valet or a lot on-site.
This is our second time staying here and will definitely be our go to place to stay when we are in town! Super friendly staff - clean spacious rooms which include a refrigerator, dishwasher, cool PBR ice bucket, dishes/glasses, silverware, etc. - large bathroom with walk in shower. Very cool architecture and decor throughout. Great location within walking distance to many local bars and restaurants. There's a parking garage close by as well. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!
