Cool historical decor, clean and quiet
Love that these buildings got repurposed. Our room was clean and quiet. Not a lot of frills but I dug the industrial vibe. They kept rooms empty 24 hours between visits so not super busy and we only saw a few people there in the lobby. Free street parking over the weekend during covid just an FYI or a public lot around the corner for $20. Just thought it was worth mentioning since I thought they had valet or a lot on-site.

    Very Accommodating Hotel
We have stayed at the Brewhouse Inn and Suites twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both of your visits! The front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I called the night before our latest arrival to see if we could check in early. We were able to check in by 1:00 p.m. and they upgraded our original reservation without us even asking for it! The suites were spacious and clean. We asked for a room in a quiet location of the hotel and the staff accommodated us so that we had a very restful night's sleep. The attached restaurant, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub, was also a "5/5" in our book. Quick service and good food and staff. Make sure to book a reservation online though as the restaurant does get busy with local events occurring nearby. If you are going to the Fiserv Forum for an event, the restaurant offers a free shuttle bus ride. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!
Thank you for your review and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor! We appreciate your support and hope to see you again for a 3rd visit in the near future!

    Gorgeous glimpse back in time
We had a great experience staying here from pre-check in to check out. We were able to pull up to unload and they gave detailed instructions on free parking options nearby since COVID has closed their valet. The inside is gorgeous and full of great stories. As we were checking in, they told us about the front counter, which is made of 1500 beer bottles, the Best family and Captain Pabst's entrance into it. Theres even a good chunk of history in the book in each room (that also includes all your basic amenity info, local attractions, etc.) Our room was spacious with a large walk-in shower, a kitchen complete with stove and dishwasher, vaulted ceilings, and huge windows that looked out onto the street below. The walls were mostly cream brick, which we would later learn is unique to Milwaukee. Since continental breakfast wasn't an option, they gave us pack and go breakfast in the morning and were great recommending local attractions. It's within easy walking distance of lots of breweries and the Bucks arena. I also loved that the retained the old copper brewing barrels which you can look down on from the main hall.

The room we stayed in was great, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel, On tap has the best cheese curds in Wisconsin. The only downfall I can say is that the AC is a little too noisy if you are a very light sleeper.

Hard for beer aficionados pass up staying in an old brewery, even if it was the old PBR brewery! The decor, lighting, and ambience were very well done. Room size, comfort, and bathroom exceeded expectations. Location is good; plenty of places to eat and drink within a 15 minute walk. Despite the positive attributes, I felt the value provided did not match the cost of the room. I guess your paying for the ambience in being in a renovated brewery. Not many parking options; valet is $35 for overnight parking. The complimentary breakfast isn’t much and pales in comparison to most other hotels that offer breakfast.

Beautiful Hotel. Very friendly staff. Originally booked our room through the US Triathlon event and while adding an extra night, found out we had a single queen suite. The events manager was able to get us a king room for our family of 3 There were lots of events happening that weekend in Milwaukee. We have plenty of room and are having a wonderful time in this great city. The beer history and atmosphere is very cool. I’ve always appreciated PBR beer and after staying here, even more so.

I spent 3 nights at The Brewhouse while in town for a wedding. This would easily have been a 5 star review except for poor housekeeping. In fact, there was no housekeeping at all during my stay - even after I specifically requested it. I was forced to get clean towels from carts left in the hallway. The rooms were large and well appointed. The ambiance and historical preservation of the building were incredible. If you can negotiate some basic housekeeping services before check-in then I say go!

I can see why people love this place. I wanted to love it. Great location, beautiful concept, and all that you could want in a boutique hotel. For over $350/night, expectations should be and were high. We booked through a third party, as a point of reference. 1. Building, lobbies, and rooms were beautifully appointed. Super cool vibe with the Brewhouse theme. 2. Courtyard and attached restaurant were a cool vibe. We visited both twice. The first experience was a bit disorganized for other guests…didn’t get the right food, left because they weren’t waited on in a timely manner, etc. However, our service was good and food was great! 3. Checked in at around 4, only to be told that the computer system had been down for the past 20 days. We needed to tell the clerk how much we paid and what kind of room we booked. Kind of concerning, as who knows who has reservations or not? We were given keys to a 1st floor suite. (Point of interest: the kettles are not visible from the 1st floor, nor are the cool lounges). We entered the suite, and went to place our wine/beer in the fridge. Fridge had funk and gross on the shelves, leaking on to the floor. The rest of the surfaces had not been thoroughly cleaned from the last guest. Went to point it out to the desk….and he relocated us to the room next door. Room next door? Not clean. Nothing was wiped down, floor not been swept, bathroom shower area was not clean, and the sheets had stains on them. We did not want to relocate again, and wiped down everything with our Lysol wipes….post-COVID travel pros. As we were unpacking, another guest was given keys our room and gained access. Ugh. See why the computer system is necessary? 4. The next day, we requested better housekeeping , and it was completed. The room needs a deep clean, honestly. Gunk on shower doors and stains on the couch. 5. Breakfast? Meh. Coffee, breads, packaged muffins, cereal, yogurt. Fine offerings for a less expensive setting. 6. Checkout was weird. Our confirmation email stated a 12pm checkout. Someone knocked on our door at 11:04. Letting us know that we were late checking out. We hustled out, and were disappointed. In all, I hope we just had visited on a bad weekend. You save money and time to enjoy a high end experience…only for it to feel less than that

My husband and I, along with a couple of friends stayed at this hotel last week! Very unique and historical place, with close proximity to all the hot spots! We had a long drive in and the lovely lady who checked us in took it upon herself to find us each a can of Pabst after we mentioned that we needed a beer. Very unique and memorable moment. People that go above and beyond are always on our radar! We visited the bar area frequently! Cassandra and Jamaica were excellent conversationalists! It felt like a home away from home! The bar manager was also so very nice, but we didn't catch his name. Five stars to this team of dedicated employees who are preserving the establishment, while making a truly memorable experience for the guests who visit!
