Nestled in a central location, the Brewhouse Inn & Suites garners praise for its unique historical charm and spacious rooms adorned with distinctive decor. Guests appreciate the convenient amenities like kitchenettes, yet some have faced cleanliness issues and found the hotel's signage perplexing.
While the service is generally celebrated for its friendliness, a few visitors have encountered less-than-stellar interactions. Despite the acclaim for the hotel's atmosphere and comfort, the value proposition is questioned by those who deem the cost high relative to their experience.

Love that these buildings got repurposed. Our room was clean and quiet. Not a lot of frills but I dug the industrial vibe. They kept rooms empty 24 hours between visits so not super busy and we only saw a few people there in the lobby. Free street parking over the weekend during covid just an FYI or a public lot around the corner for $20. Just thought it was worth mentioning since I thought they had valet or a lot on-site.

We have stayed at the Brewhouse Inn and Suites twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both of your visits! The front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I called the night before our latest arrival to see if we could check in early. We were able to check in by 1:00 p.m. and they upgraded our original reservation without us even asking for it! The suites were spacious and clean. We asked for a room in a quiet location of the hotel and the staff accommodated us so that we had a very restful night's sleep. The attached restaurant, Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub, was also a "5/5" in our book. Quick service and good food and staff. Make sure to book a reservation online though as the restaurant does get busy with local events occurring nearby. If you are going to the Fiserv Forum for an event, the restaurant offers a free shuttle bus ride. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

We had a great experience staying here from pre-check in to check out. We were able to pull up to unload and they gave detailed instructions on free parking options nearby since COVID has closed their valet.
The inside is gorgeous and full of great stories. As we were checking in, they told us about the front counter, which is made of 1500 beer bottles, the Best family and Captain Pabst's entrance into it. Theres even a good chunk of history in the book in each room (that also includes all your basic amenity info, local attractions, etc.)
Our room was spacious with a large walk-in shower, a kitchen complete with stove and dishwasher, vaulted ceilings, and huge windows that looked out onto the street below. The walls were mostly cream brick, which we would later learn is unique to Milwaukee. Since continental breakfast wasn't an option, they gave us pack and go breakfast in the morning and were great recommending local attractions. It's within easy walking distance of lots of breweries and the Bucks arena. I also loved that the retained the old copper brewing barrels which you can look down on from the main hall.

Booked this hotel because it was a couples trip for Valentine’s Day. The basic rooms comes equipped with a kitchenette and nice size bathroom with an awesome shower. However they only have a queen size bed. Continental breakfast was included but if you are looking for hot food then look elsewhere. There is an attached restaurant/bar that offers room service but we did not try it. I’ve paid half the price for way more amenities and would not stay here again for the price. Valet attendant Steve was very polite and brought our car right up when needed. The evening front desk clerk didn’t orient us to the hotel at all except to tell us about the attached restaurant/bar and give us a map where he marked suggested restaurants. The morning of check out I asked the front desk clerk about the location of the old letters and she was so polite and explained how to find everything in the hotel.

We toured the Brewhouse last year in preparation for our daughter’s wedding hosted at Best Place. We booked a Baron Suite for the weekend and it was not cheap. However, the housekeeping services lacked. One of the beds had so much hair on it we questioned if it was clean. There was broken glass on the side of the fridge and in the fridge. Their were crumbs in the fridge and on tables. It was also clear they ran the vacuum only over the main travel areas and not the edges of areas. The sleeper sofa supports were broken as well. Two chairs were so fragile and one the seat was completely caved in. The maintenance was sorely lacking. The suite contained 3 towels and not one extra roll of toilet paper. What was completely disappointing is that I specifically asked the front desk to just have housekeeping clean the glass and the housekeeper recleaned the bathroom and that’s about it. I asked to speak with the manager and received a voicemail as we were at the wedding. They apologized and comped $69 of parking. It’s clear the hotel may be struggling to keep up appearances. However, when you pay $1000 + for the weekend you expect it to be taken care of a bit better than it was. Pretty disappointed.

This was definitely one of the most unique places we've ever stayed. Kudos to the architects and designers who managed to create an upscale hotel out of an old brewery building. The copper beer tanks and stained glass window on the mezzanine were beautiful. The room decor was consistent with the industrial vibe, and the small kitchenettes make this a great value for anyone staying more than a day. The Best Place tour at the old Pabst Headquarters was less than a block away and highly recommended. The only issues we had related to housekeeping and maintenance. There was no extra toilet paper in the room, a couple light bulbs were burned out, and one of the curtains was nearly detached from the rod. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate area (the pub next store was temporarily closed), but there are many options within a few blocks. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and despite what some others have said, we found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful.

This is our second time staying here and will definitely be our go to place to stay when we are in town! Super friendly staff - clean spacious rooms which include a refrigerator, dishwasher, cool PBR ice bucket, dishes/glasses, silverware, etc. - large bathroom with walk in shower. Very cool architecture and decor throughout. Great location within walking distance to many local bars and restaurants. There's a parking garage close by as well. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in November, Friday through Sunday. The hotel offers valet parking which we did not use. There is a garage a block away (The Brew Parking Structure) with overnight parking costing $20. We used this garage for Friday night. It is well lit and convenient. We found meters a block and a half away that was free Saturday and Sunday so we parked there Saturday night. The hotel is really neat as you can see the copper brew kettles, a video of the restoration, huge stain glass window with King Gambrinus, the patron Saint of beer and more. Our room was very clean. When we arrived we checked the bed and found a dark stain on the fitted sheets. We informed the front desk and housekeeping promptly changed the sheet while we were out. (The sheets other than the one spot appeared clean so I think it was just a stain). The room had a cold feeling to it with high ceilings exposing ductwork and pipes. There are several seating areas outside the room and a small meeting room with a board table and chairs. The complimentary breakfast (7 to 10 am) was simple with boiled eggs, pastry, bread, plain yogurt, granola, blueberries, apples, bananas, cereal, coffee, orange juice, etc. I would recommend staying here a night or two for the nostalgia of the brewery experience.

Yes, this really is a renovated Brewery which has kept some brewery vats in place. They are polished copper and are housed in the center of the hotel. This is a very unique hotel to visit with updated, upgraded furnishings. Having moved out of the area, this was a fun novelty experience during a holiday visit to the area. Parking is a consideration: The hotel offers valet, there is a self-park structure about a block away ($20/night), and there are meters on the street. There is no charge for the street meter parking at night but you must call your vehicle into the city parking department who will inform you which side of the street you must park on. Otherwise you could get an overnight parking ticket.

Thank you for your review, we're so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! While there are other city parking options available in our neighborhood, we recommend guests using valet because it is the most secure especially when the city is popular with an event. We hope to see you again the next time you're in town!

We checked in late after a show and the staff was accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was closed, but they gave us takeout menus and recommendations where we could order in. It is nice that you don't have to walk outside to go to the adjoining restaurant/bar if it's open. The hotel is near the Fiserv, very interesting how they renovated the brewery while making it a nice hotel. The setup is unusual for the modern/boutique feel they are going for, as the hallways are open to the 2nd floor lobby/ brew canister/meeting rooms area. Same feel as the Embassy suites we always stayed at as kids. It didn't bother me for my stay but if there were a meeting/convention going on I could see how it would pose a problem. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortably appointed, although showing a few signs of wear and tear. It was nice to have a kitchenette although we didn't use it much. The rooms were somewhat dim, ours had windows only in the kitchenette area and bathroom. But I didn't mind it for our purposes. They had a full-length mirror in the room and lights/outlets on both sides of the bed. Spacious shower/no tub, can't comment on breakfast as I didn't wake up early enough. There's a coffeehouse within a block, and my partner did use the Keurig in the room. I would stay here again.
