We went here as a family to attend a Marquette basketball game. The hotel was wonderful. Location was great downtown Milwaukee. Checkin was quick and the front desk staff were great at every encounter. They told us about amenities at checkin and answered all questions we had throughout the visit.

The breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, bakery items, juices, coffee, etc. Everything was well stocked. The free happy hour (kickback) was fine - drinks were not the best I’ve had - but as expected for a free happy hour. We didn’t try any of the food at kickback. The kids loved the popcorn available all day and the fresh cold water in the lobby.

The room was great! Clean, updated, and big enough for our family to feel comfortable. There’s a desk and another comfy chair and I liked the layout (our room was not typical of a hotel room - there was a bit of a hallway area before turning into the room) as it provided more space.

The pool was fun for the kids but too cold for the adults. There was also a hot tub. Plenty of chairs and clean towels and it was clean.

I was overall very pleased - especially given standards at hotels seem to have decreased post-COVID, but we did not experience that decrease here. We will be staying here again.

Awesome accommodations right in the heart of downtown. Easy walking distance to everything (we did FISERV), and an amazing "Kick Back" reception every night (with a variety of tasty foods). We had a very spacious suite, with attached bedroom, easily accommodating 6 people, and everyone enjoyed the breakfast and dinner-quality evening reception (with three drinks each!). Pool and hot tub are super clean, and the pool is warm, good for the adults to jump in and spend time with the kids! Fitness center is good too, although modest. Parking is attached via heated skywalk, and is reasonably priced ($22), though you can also find alternatives in the same block ($12- but no 'in and out' if you need that). People are great; especially Mitch, the manager.

If you come, get ready to Kick Back - way back!

The hotel was very relaxing and accommodating to every single one of my needs. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou Brenae’, you were so helpful and so pleasant. Brenae’ gave me and my cast lots of insight on the beautiful city of Milwaukee, from waterfront restaurants and boat rides, to great eats! The manager Chris was so kind to me from the moment I walked in the door and would greet me by last name during my stay. The staff is hands on with guaranteeing a comfortable safe and enjoyable environment. When I saw The fitness room I was in ecstasy, very quiet with every machine you could ask for, fresh towels and water to cater to your needs. The swimming area and jacuzzi are perfect for a nice long day as I was there on business filming a movie. The room is very spacious very quiet and room service is just a call away. I honestly did not want to leave by the end of my stay and will definitely be back, well worth the price!

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. Parked out front and went in for key which is required to enter the garage ($22 per night w/ in & out privileges), check in was quick and painless. Room 901 had a decent view of the streets below and a few buildings. The hotel was an easy drive to all the distilleries and restaurants we visited over the weekend. The kick back was great, you can get three alcoholic beverages per night and food, the first night there was a taco/nacho bar, hot dogs baked potatoes and chili. The second night it was some pasta, baked potatoes and hot dogs. The included breakfast was just as good, pancakes, sausage, eggs, potatoes, stuff to put in your eggs, boiled eggs and yogurt. While not gourmet the food was appreciated and good. There was always pop and juice available. The room was a nice size, king bed with fluffy pillows. The room was pretty cold and the heat won't go above a certain temperature so we went to bed cold but woke in the middle of the night burning up. I was to short to sit and see my face in the mirror above the desk and I couldn't raise the chair height so doing hair/ face in the steamy bathroom wasn't ideal . I enjoyed a little time in hot tub while my bf was doing laundry (yeah he wanted to take only clean clothes home go figure). Didn't get in the pool but I was happy it was there. We'll be back when it's warmer and easier to walk to everything near the hotel.

Great place to stay centrally located downtown Milwaukee. Continental breakfast was laid out very well with many of the favorites you can expect along with a few extras. At night you get a social hour from 5:30 to 7 with 3 cocktails and a snack buffet you can make a meal out of well worth the $$ to stay here.

We've stayed at multiple locations in Milwaukee downtown and this one sits in a great area near a ton of fun things to do and best of all, it's close to the Marquette University campus. We will definitely come here again. They offer a great happy hour with fun eats and unlimited popcorn for snacking throughout the evening. Breakfast was nice and hot. They offer an egg bar as well. It was nice to have more than just a continental breakfast offering. The facilities were impeccably clean and the staff was very friendly. The only issue I had was with parking. Given the construction on the street...it was difficult to discern where to pull up...and what to do at check in. It is not disclosed on the hotel website, but their is a parking cost at the hotel. On 2/8/2020, the cost for parking was $22 when the daily rate at the parking garage was $18 so I thought that was a bit odd. When I asked the young man at the counter about this and the parking cost not being disclosed, his response was "I cannot control the cost of parking, however, I'll let my manager know."

Overall though...I will come back, I just wish he would have handled that a little differently. I'll just be prepared to pay the parking cost next time.

Stayed at hotel on 2/15/20. Second stay at this hotel. I left something in the room when I checked out and the following day I got a personal phone call from Debra in housekeeping who said I left something in the room and asked me to call back. I have stayed in numerous hotels and have left things before; never heard from a hotel unless I called about the item. Totally impressed and called the front desk and housekeeping both to let them know about Debra's outstanding customer service. I've stayed here twice since it opened last fall and am staying again in May. From now on my #1 choice of hotels in Milwaukee. Other great things about the hotel but super impressed by this latest display of great customer service.

Stayed here for 4 nights for business while visiting one of our offices in Milwaukee.

Hotel is in a good location and has parking available for a fee each night. (Note. U need the pull up go in and check in first before parking as your room key lets you into the carpark)

The rooms are clean and have a big flat screen TV with a microwave, fridge and tea coffee maker.

The hotel also has a gym which is open 24/7 and a pool but this is only open 9am-10pm which is the only downside if you like an early swim.

Staff are friendly and the breakfast is nice.

The Drury Plaza Downtown Milwaukee is the perfect hotel for us. For hotels we focus on location (being walkable to activities/restaurants), good value (which in this case is the amenities: free wifi, free breakfast), good pool, comfortable rooms, helpful staff. This place is how any business should strive to operate: everything was clean and orderly, there were plenty of staff everywhere, staff all seemed friendly and helpful. And staff seemed to be happy enough to be there!

We are a family of 3: 2 adults and a 5 year old son.

We didn't encounter a single staff member that wasn't super helpful or genuinely friendly.

Location is great. We took Amtrak from Chicago, and walked from the train station. (There's also a free tram that goes from the train station near here). We walked to the lakefront Museum area: Betty Brinn Children's Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery Zone. We also walked to the Milwaukee Public Museum. And We took a bus from right out front to the Milwaukee County Zoo. And we walked to the Milwaukee Public Market. We did a ton of easy fun things in a long weekend!

Pool and hot tub is good. Decent size pool, good size hot tub. Pool could have been 1 or 2 degrees warmer. We swam 6 times in 3 night stay long weekend.

Breakfast was solid. We are big fans of the fact that Drury Inn uses real dishware! And my son and I thought it was super cool we could see the person cooking the pancakes and/or scrambled eggs on the griddle!

Kickbacks are solid. 5:30-7pm each night. 3 alcoholic beverages per adult, unlimited pop, and basic dinner/heavy snacks. Each night there were hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, salad. Then there was a soup, mixed vegetable, some top of potato, and then something else (pasta, alfredo sauce, and chicken one night. Pulled BBQ pork and slider buns another).

They even let you have free late checkout!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Drury Milwaukee downtown.

Nice hotel friendly staff however we wanted a two room suite with a view. Come to find out none of the two room suites have a view, basically anything on the east side of the hotel open the windows and office workers are 10 feet across from you looking directly at you. Granted we didn’t spend much time in the room but when we do opening the curtains and taking in the City views is enjoyed by our little one. They should really post no to very limited views on the website regarding the east facing rooms. Should be informed of such as other hotels do with limited view rooms.
