Stayed here for two nights while traveling for work. Stayed on floor 6, the executive floor in room 600. It was a lovely corner room that was very large with a couch, fridge, and fire place. The design of the hotel is lovely and everything is very clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant Oggies which was also great. I'd absolutely stay here again.
I stayed at the Metro Hotel a couple weeks ago during a business trip in Milwaukee. The room was very nice. (Think Vegas Suite). I booked another room for a return trip in January. I received a check in message from the desk prior to my arrival offering me an upgrade to a suite. Prior to checking in, I received another text message saying I couldn’t get the upgrade because I was staying too long (4 nights). I walked into my room and immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana and located a bag of it inside the room safe. I asked for a new room and was told my room would be downgraded due to limited availability. I checked out and went to a different hotel.
I visit Milwaukee for business, my husband accompanies me, and we spend time with family and friends. My hotel of choice is a Marriott Bonvoy - Hotel Metro, Autograph Collection, with a most recent stay from December 18th to December 25th, 2022. Ms. Danna Casillas, the Front Desk Supervisor, is impressive. Her talent and skills in the hospitality industry are exceptional, and she is responsible for the high satisfaction with our stays. She sets the tone for the people she is responsible for - and they follow her lead and contribute to guest satisfaction. The hotel is attractive and well-maintained, and Oggie's offers delicious food. Every staff member was helpful and friendly, including Mya, Front Desk; Isaura and Ava, Housekeeping; and Gwen, Server at Oggie's. A month later, I am still smiling about the note left by Nick, the Valet. He brought our luggage to the room, leaving a drawing of a snowman with wishes to "Have a great week." We are grateful to Ms. Casallis and the staff for the wonderful stay. It makes a difference in our lives. …
We decided to last minute spend NYE in Milwaukee to Enjoy a great prime rib meal, a few fun pubs and hoped for a great hotel! One out of three worked out, the Hotel Metro. Our check in was professional friendly and valet as well. Our room was clean, spacious and so cozy! Every person from the clerk at check in and check out, the valet both days, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff all super kind, friendly and happy! Not something expected lately in this world, it was just so refreshing to experience such great service by happy employees! Hands down we will be back. As for the failed Prime rib meal off site and the random unfriendly pubs,, our mistake,, next time we will just stay at the hotel the entire time. Thanks Hotel Metro!!
Dylan Trapp was awesome! He was very careful with my luggage when loading on my Lyft and displayed excellent customer service! Top notch employee! The hotel front desk attendant was amazing as well!! She was very responsive to my needs! Awesome service! Will return when back in Milwaukee!!
I did do a cancelation and my money will be restored back to my card within 5 business days. I was advised if I didn't want to do a prepaid card again to call the hotel so I will be charged when I reach the room.
The hotel is absolutely stunning. So much attention to detail. The lobby is so picturesque. More than the ambiance, the customer care is exceptional. In particular, Nick has been awesome, especially with our daughter. Thank you for a wonderful stay
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to catch a concert at The Rave and enjoyed it very much. Room was HUGE, clean and quiet. Be sure to check out the Public Market and the Art Museum while visiting. In hotel restaurant was very good. Our valet Nick was great too!
The staff here has gone above and beyond! One the first night of my stay, I got back to the hotel at 10 p.m. and needed a snack (I'm breastfeeding and pumping and need to eat frequently). I asked at the front desk if they had any snacks for sale, and they did not, but Nick the valet manager overheard and asked what I needed, then told me he'd be right back and dashed outside into the cold. Five minutes later, he brought snacks to my room, no charge. It was such a kind thing to do! The next day, Donna at reception not only helped me find a salon for a manicure but she booked the appointment for me (it was a great spot, Nail Bar). Later that evening I asked the man at the front desk if he could help me figure out how to freeze an ice pack I had (to transport my breastmilk on the plane the next day) and he offered to put it in the employee freezer in the breakroom for me. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and considerate. And the room was gorgeous and comfortable, lots of space and a great layout. …
Hotel was amazing great customer service even our valet Matthew was incredible. Rooms are very spacious so you get a good bang for the buck! I look foward to returning. Location very convient with resturants nearby.
