It is a good location, just off the highway from Chicago. The area was pretty lonely during the weekend. But the location is also close to the lake and many museums which you can walk to. There is valet parking, but I found easy street parking right in front of the hotel for the weekend. The rooms are accessible directly from the street level. The lobby is on the third floor. It has an impressive bar with many selections of whisky and other liquors. My view from the 8th floor room window was great. I got views of Lake Michigan. The rooms were clean and the linens smelled fresh. I had a good sleep. The reception is pretty friendly. Visiting the touristy spots of Milwaukee was easy and the streets are mostly arranged in a grid pattern.

I stayed at the Westin to watch the Marquette volleyball game with a few family friends. Liz, one of the amazing staff members, was the absolute sweetest. She recommended a delicious restaurant to us, held our luggage, and called our cars for us. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and her hospitality.

The hotel is very contemporary and has a great modern vibe to it. Liz at the front desk was very helpful, and recommended some great local eateries for my adventure tomorrow. Thanks for the warm welcome, Liz! I was lucky to come on a Monday when they were at 10% so it's nice and quiet, perfect way to wind down my day!
