We held a four day conference at the hotel and had a great experience. We have been working with Matt and Amanda for the past few months planning everything. Amanda was with us for the entirety of the event, and her and her staff were amazing and could not have been anymore helpful. Any request that our large group had, they made it happen or they found a solution to fit our needs. Also a big thank you to the banquet, catering, bar, cleaning, and all hotel staff. Your work was much appreciated and we will recommend to anyone we can.

We were assigned a suite above the dumpsters. Translation: we were awakened at 5 am, or so, daily. Our reservation included breakfast, and was for 5 nights. We were only given one voucher for breakfast. The restaurant staff said the rate meant one breakfast per stay - not per day. No toiletries in the suite. The in room coffee and water were not replaced after the first night. The blanket was thin and cheap. No laundry bags. Not surprising, the desk manager was unpleasant. “Four Diamond” to me means we should not have had to deal with these irritating details. We have stayed here many times. This was the last time.

The rooms are very outdated. The furniture was dirty, ceiling in the bathroom was moldy. Water pressure was very poor and the water very hard. We needed a rollaway bed, a crib and a microwave. All came within 10 mins of putting the request in. The microwave we received was insanely dirty inside and out. It literally was taken from a room and put in ours without it being cleaned. Got a replacement and that one was cleaner but the handle and outside was still sticky from old food. The pack n play we received was in decent shape but they do not have crib sheets. Thankfully I always bring my own, but if you are traveling with young kids, keep this in mind. Cafe which was supposed to close at 4pm (per your own website and everywhere I checked) closed at 3pm. Had to sit in the lounge with 2 small kids to get food. It took forever to get our food, once the food came it was cold and gross. Honestly, for the price we paid and it being a '4 star hotel' we expected a lot more. We stayed in 3 star hotels for a lot less and had gotten a lot more and much better hotel rooms. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

This beautiful old hotel creates an ambience that makes you feel like you traveled back in time. In addition, the rooms were clean, modern, and the service was excellent. I didn’t realize that there was so much to do in downtown Milwaukee. I wish we would have spent more time there.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Pfister Hotel. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Our King Suite was clean and nicely appointed. The entire hotel was clean and welcoming. We had NO concerns with the hotel. It was the perfect place to stay---conveniently located to all downtown venues. Our room was a quiet, calm place to unwind between wedding activities. I highly
