We felt safe and well taken care of during this uncertain time. Our suite was lovely, bed comfortable and gave us enough space to enjoy our visit. I had two grandchildren sleep on the pullout couch with no complaints, they enjoyed their swim time (reservation only) and the view. The location of the hotel can't be beat. If you have an issue, speak with management. They are concerned professionals, and will act promptly.

My new wife and I stayed at the hotel in Oct 2020 for after our wedding. I was very excited to stay at the Pfister because I heard great reviews from multiple people and it was my first time staying at the hotel. My stay was pretty average at best which left me disappointed. Pros: Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, shower worked well and architecture was beautiful. Cons: There was a wedding going on and upon entering the lobby area there were shoulder to shoulder people. I wasn't impressed and felt a bit unsafe during this pandemic. Around 7am we were startled awake by loud yelling from our neighbor. I know there is very little control of this from the hotel perspective but it sounded like they were in our room because the walls offered no sound dampening what so ever.

This is a beautiful old hotel that’s welcoming and stunning. It’s a very old feeling that’s classic. From the check in Alyssa was very attentive friendly and accommodating. Brian our bellman was fantastic, he greeted us with water and took our luggage curbside and escorted us to our room. The rooms are comfortable and we’re sanitized and sealed off at the door entrance. The beds weren’t as luxurious as I had hoped but it was very comfortable. We enjoyed spectacular 90 minute massages at the spa, Marilyn was unbelievable‼️ The one disappointment was we attempted numerous times to make a reservation at Blu the top floor bar and never received a required confirmation. So we had cocktails at the lobby bar which was lovely. We dined right at the hotel at Mason Grill, Richard our waiter was fantastic and the service was excellent and so is the food. Although the menu is limited it still was delicious. Sunday we called for Brian again he was prompt with waters loaded our car and we were on our way. Thank you Pfister Hotel for an amazing weekend. We can’t wait to return‼️

My husband and I spent our anniversary here. We are both health professionals and have not traveled anywhere since March. We love the Phister and have stayed here before. We like the historical part of the hotel with the high ceilings, marble bathrooms, large windows, and artwork everywhere. This hotel takes Covid-19 measures seriously or we would not have stayed here. It starts with kleenex at the elevators to use to press the buttons, hand sanitizer for use, required masks, contactless checkin and contactless room service. We walked the halls looking at the beautiful art and lobby and felt like we had been in a museum. The hotel is also close to the River Walk. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. This is THE place to stay in Milwaukee. Grateful to the Marcus family for preserving this grand hotel.
