We booked this resort for our honeymoon and were expecting something special, what we got was less than that. Driving up and walking into the lobby were the best parts, it was downhill from there. Although the staff were very friendly and attentive, the resort itself could use a lot of help! The website boasted about bars and fine dining,... More

Mt grandkids and I visited for 2 days. This area of Wisconsin and the hotel's property are gorgeous. The hotel, however, is a little rough around the edges. I'm sure the hotel gets 'beat up' a little during ski season but there are some things that are pretty bad. Moldy tub caulk, ripped carpet in our room and the Cornucopia,... More

We enjoyed a relaxing stay-over for 1-night at the Devils Head Resort. The rooms are (80's decor) dated, however, the staff in the restaurant and bar area were extremely friendly. There's nothing near this property, so plan on staying put. There's an outdoor pool and 2-golf courses on site.

Overall the trip was decent, we were there on a golf trip. The 2 courses were nice except for the greens, they were terribly slow and there were a lot of burnt out greens. The food at the golf course hut was very good, burgers and brats you cannot go wrong. We had our first meal in dining room on... More

We were at lose ends as out destination was booked up (Oshkosh Air Show) so at the last minute we switched to this resort. At first glance, it looks like a resort that used to be quite popular and busy. Their golf course is adjacent and the ski lift is right outside the restaurant and outdoor pool. Interior walls are... Stayed for two weekend nights that included a golf package. The staff and servers at all meals were wonderful and friendly however the physical appearance of the buildings on the grounds have really deteriorated. Rooms were clean but average. The hallways were dark, damp and in poor condition. Outside doors leading inside were rusted, dented and beat up. Seems that... More

Bought a New Year Pakage. The room was just ok compatible to a 3* hotel. The hill was good, I'm a beginner skier so was using first 3. Waiting for the New Year dinner almost killed us, we got served only after speaking to a manager. After all, a fine experience. We may be back to ski, but definitely a... More

Traveling home and need a place off the beaten path, the drive here was beautiful with the bluffs and the fields of crops. As we drove up to the property the main building looks spectacular however as I walked in the front door was capsuled with smokers who I had to zig zag through to get in. We were given... More

Since there were a lot of men golfers, women were all but ignored at the bar. The bartender was a snot. Our friends stayed on the 2nd floor in B wing and found a mouse in their room, ALIVE and the front desk person said he'd have to speak to the Mgr before they could be given credit for the... More
