Stayed here a few times this month and cannot recommend highly enough. The nicest hotel in the area. My room was modern, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is good, but dinner options are the best. Staff are helpful and quick to provide extra coffee pods, tissues, whatever, and also to handle any issues that arise. If you are traveling anywhere within 45 minutes from Marshfield, stay here!
Omg, hotel was great but the staff is really what made it amazing. Charity at the front desk was so hospitable and really made you feel like an honored guest in someone’s home vs being at a hotel.Charity, Terry, and all the staff truly amazing!! Foster, Hamilton
Check in and out went smoothly. Lobby was clean and had a lot of seating. It is a very pet friendly hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Free breakfast was hot and had a lot of choices. Has a bar and resturant. The patio area has a sauna, whirlpool and pool. There is no daily housekeeping unless you call. It was a nice place.
I love this hotel. I have experienced another hotel in town, not very favorably. This place has everything we need. If we're snowed in, we have a great restaurant, a great bar and plenty of room to sit in the restaurant area away from our room. The room is great, clean, neat, well supplied. There have been some upgrades I've noticed recently. I think they are continuing that trend. The bathrooms are a little small and tubs need replacing but still usable. We stay here often and enjoy it. IMO the breakfast buffet needs a makeover with new foods. But it is beautifully presented and the staff are wonderful. This is my hotel of choice for Marshfield.
I stayed therefore 3 1/2 weeks while I was going to school. The entire staff in all departments were friendly kind and helpful! There were a few that went the extra mile to make my stay amazing! Clayton, Vicki, Jill, Nick, and La Von at the front desk and Veronica and Kathy in the food service! I didn't get to meet the housekeepers personally but they always had my room cleaned and stocked! The room was comfortable and the water was always hot! If I needed anything all I had to do was call the front desk! The hot tub even with the cold air and onetime snow, was always clean and warm. They even had an area where we were able to hang out in our class group! Thanks again! I will be back again!
We stayed here for one night on our way from the twin cities to Mackinac Island, MI. The rates are reasonable for how nice of a hotel it is. There isn’t much around the hotel, but it has a great restaurant, bar and outside pool/sauna/hot tub area, so it serves its purpose if you are just stopping to break up a long drive. The free hot breakfast in the morning is also great. We liked it so much we decided to stay again on our way back, but opted for a suite as we felt like we needed a little more room for ourselves and two teenagers. We will definitely return!
In my 60+ years of traveling, I've stayed at hundreds of motels. This one ranks in the top 1% in all categories. The complimentary breakfast is on par with anything a fine restaurant would serve. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room and all the public areas were spotless. It also had a very welcoming courtyard that included a pool, hot tubs, and a sauna. And you could also have your meals served at this open air area at the north end of the courtyard. The prices are right in line with any where else you might stay at. I could go on and on but you get the picture.
We had a good experience here. The executive King room was roomy and spacious and very clean. It was nice having a bar and restaurant in the hotel as well. The hot breakfast was very good and great COVID precautions were being taken. I'd stay here again, for sure. As it turns out, a local prom was held here one night and we did not hear a single thing, though the parking lot was pretty full. It was nice and quiet in our room, however.
Would like to thank the staff at the hotel on our sons recent wedding reception, everything was great. Tricia was great as getting all the details done and done correctly. Ashley had the room prepared early and I know her staff spent long late hours to get it ready. Took a lot off of our shoulders and was done to perfection. Even next day they had everything put in boxes ready for us to take, even the people cleaning up helped us. Katlyn and Chris were great help as well bar staff kept everyone served Jen was her usual friendly self at the bar and several people commented on how well the evening went. We felt safe during this odd Covid time, again not sure if I have mentioned all the staff but want to be sure they all know how well they did Thank you
We stayed here for one night while on a motorcycle weekend getaway. We had called earlier that day to see if they had availability and was quoted a price for a king room. We did not reserve, as we did not know for sure where we would be since we were enjoying the day on the cycle. When we arrived at the hotel, and inquired about staying the night, the price was quite a bit more. After we explained that we had called earlier and what we were quoted, he begrudging said he could give us that price. Our room was on the first floor, near a side entrance. Perfect for unloading and loading the bike. The room was spacious and updated. It was clean and had no smell. The bed was comfortable and the towels seemed new and were very fluffy. We had a very quiet and restful sleep. The next morning, the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. They did have a variety of hot and cold item, but it just seemed like not a lot of thought was put into them. The yogurt was a very cheap brand, with no plain vanilla or Greek. They were serving oatmeal with different toppings that could also have been used with the yogurt, had they offered a nice plain Greek yogurt. The breakfast sandwiches were very dry and un-appealing. They had bagels, but no toaster….strange. Still, it was better than most hotels are offering right now. The only other customer service complaint I would have, is we ate at the restaurant the night we checked in and afterwards went to the hotels Market Place store to grab a candy bar. As we were heading to the front desk to pay, the gentleman that checked us in said we could not buy the candy. He said they had a wedding that night, and the wedding bar had the machine for purchasing. I asked if we could just give him correct change and he could ring it in later, or could we charge it to our room. He said that he had no way of doing that. What the heck. The next day when we checked out there was an extra charge of $30 for incidentals. Say what? They said that charge would fall off, which it did…..but what was that for?? What incidentals…hmmm…maybe a candy bar?? Bottom line………yes, we would stay here again….it was clean, quiet and updated. We also liked that they had a decent restaurant and bar.…
