If you are looking for a respite from it all in a nature filled setting, this is the place. Shea-Dy Pines B&B is a huge, lovely log cabin home set back in the pines; when you arrive you feel like you have left the world behind. There are trails to hike and nature to see. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are delightful, room comfortable and setting unique! Though remote, the property is gorgeous and worth the drive through the woods to get to. We enjoyed watching Sand-hill Cranes and wild turkey from the front porch. A quiet and special place!

Our stay at Shea-dy Pines B&B exemplifies why we like to stay at B&B's. We continued on through a tunnel of outrageously colorful trees, stopped suddenly for a graceful deer that bounded across in front of us, then around...

The drive to this 'little' cabin was longer than expected - the road turns into a track through the woods, but it is worth it. The only thing dropping this from 5 to 4 stars is that they completely lost my booking. Luckily they had the room free that we had booked anyway. The house itself is quite impressive, with...
