If you want a new place thats clean and quiet, this is it. it's probably a little pricey (for the area), but you don't have to "put up" with anything. The breakfast consists of rolls juice, coffee, etc, but at least its something in your stomach as you head out the door. Not a fishing resort, but we did bring... More

The Lodge at Manitowish Waters is an exceptional value. An idyllic Northwoods retreat. Clean, like new rooms - many with private balconies overlooking a beautiful lawn and woods, an exceptional staff & tasty light continental breakfast. The location is ideal - close to an excellent grocery store, ice cream stand, hardware store, antique store, and a wide variety of dining... More

My wife & I spent two nights at The Lodge in Manitowish Waters and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was bright, nicely furnished, and immaculately clean. We had a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the woods, very private. Wish we had spent more time in Manitowish Waters (kayaking,... More

I have been coming to the Manitowish Waters area for over 50 years. Usually staying in seasonal cottages. For this years trip we decided to stay at the Lodge because family members who stayed there had great things to say. We were a bit apprehensive to give up the "Up North" environment of a lake side cottage but we are... More

This was a nice hotel right in the center of town. It was within walking distance to all of the shops, the grocery store, the Discovery Center, Koller Park (Rest Lake) and even the playground/tennis courts by the small airport. The continental breakfast was small, but fine. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

If you are going up north to the Manitowish Waters area, I would highly recommend The Lodge. Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We had a balcony room on the 2nd floor that overlooked a lush yard and beautiful wooded area. I could have spent the whole day just sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee (Keurig... More

I have been writing for trip advisor and reading reviews to select hotels and restaurants for some time now and did so when choosing the Lodge. Others have written about comfy beds, friendly staff and adequate morning breakfast. I found none of that. The bed was a bit too hard for me to call comfy and the friendly staff must... More

We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite. Huge room with the most comfortable bed I've ever found in a hotel. The rooms all have a small patio with two chairs to sit and enjoy the outside. The bar has good food and friendly staff. The pool is nice. The arcade was fun. Definitely a great place to stay.

It's hit or miss with hotels in this area of Wisconsin. What a pleasant surprise to have great, really great, well maintained accommodations in the north woods, and in late May, very affordable! Comfortable bed, attractive room, a nice balcony on the second floor. What is NOT to like?! A quiet night, refreshing air, friendly staff, and a great breakfast!... More

Great place to stay! Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and nice continental breakfast! The room had coffee maker and a refrigerator stocked with water bottles. Would defiantly stay there again.
