This Inn is very conveniently located within walking distance of the town and the waterfront. The room we had was very comfortable with a well equipped bathroom. If there is a reservation about the accommodation it would be the lack of hanging space/ drawers for clothes. The breakfast was very good and varied every day of the three days we... More

We love spending time at TC Smith. We found this gem 3 years ago when we needed to find pet friendly lodging. We were excited that it was so close to the downtown area. We are on our 5 or 6 stay and usually stay around the Labor Day holiday. Maureen is a great hostess and our dog LOVES her.... More

As the owner and innkeeper, I am so happy to see you returning many times. It is as if we are a family.. I am the grandma to many of my dog friends as well. My new little one Paddy Paws has turned into a real beggar for breakfast. Although it is not the best behavior, far better than living... More

This was the worst "pet friendly" B&B I've been to. I'm still pretty angry about the experience, so I'll list out the pros and cons here. Pros: (1) Location - this inn is located centrally so we could easily walk to the downtown area, beach, etc. Other destinations on our list (wineries, golf, etc.) were not more than a 30... More

A response to the above 98% untrue review. As my fourth of July weekend guests, you were served an impressive buffet by anyone's standard. Actually on day two you all left to relax in the courtyard garden with your visitors and never returned for the breakfast buffet. All pastries are handmade by the owner. They are not purchased outside ready... More

Stepping into the room filled with antiques was like traveling into the past. A wonderful large bed with great pillows. But, there was also cable, Wi-Fi, a whirlpool, and 5 shower heads. We were 1/2 block from two nice restaurants and 2 blocks from downtown Lake Geneva. But the best was breakfast - delicious fresh fruit and eggs and great... More

We stayed in the Alexander Room for New Year's Eve. We fell alseep before the new year. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. It was quiet. The fireplace was nice but the room temperature was actually perfect. The shower was hot and the water pressure was excellent! The shower water head was nice and high. I cannot stand... More

So happy that you both were able to join us again at the inn . Next time, call a little more in advance so you can try out one of the guest rooms with the whirlpools and back massage systems. January is a slower month so try us again soon or make it for the Winterfest coming up early in... More

Didn't expect a place this nice that accepts dogs. Proprietor Maureen goes out of her way to make you feel welcome - she made great friends with us and our dogs. Absolutely lovely house and room. Amazing bathroom with Jacuzzi and multi-head shower. Yummy breakfast with best French toast on the planet, also fresh berries with cream - everything homemade.... More

I'm expecting you will be arriving again in a few weeks. What fun we all had. The fall colors will be upon us in a flash. Have a super great time at the formal affair for Paws Chicago. Something I would like to attend in the future. Take Care, Maureen More

Bride, Groom, parents and friends stayed here for the wedding at Horticulture Hall. Maureen, the Host, was amazing--so attentive to detail while very relaxed. We had rented the entire place as we had small children with our party. She welcomed our guests who stayed elsewhere; she treated the toddlers with "off the menu choices"; she adjusted timing every day based... More

The room was comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of fresh fruit, coffee, juice and tasty French toast. Great location for walking to shopping and dining in Lake Geneva. We were able to walk around town and walk around the lake. We enjoyed our visit.

My honey sweet and I stayed here for the Fourth of July weekend. The B&B is in a great location! It's close to a few great restaurants (less then 5 min walk) and close enough to the water to enjoy a breeze yet far enough away to avoid the crowds! The B&B is dog friendly which was a huge bonus... It was great to hear about your B & B experience at the historic inn and your enjoyment of Lake Geneva. Your dogs were so well behaved, the perfect travelers. I forgot to take a picture of them in the courtyard to place in our pet album. I will remember next time . There will be different hot entrees on... More
