Detailed Reviews
Excellent place for a couples getaway! We arrived and the t.v. had been turned on and was on jazz music, there are beautiful coffee table books of the area, complimentary bottle of wine and cheese/crackers. The bathroom has floor heater and a towel heater! Bath salts for the whirlpool tub and I love that they had q-tips because I forgot mine, There is a speaker to connect your device to for music and the wifi is free. There are packets of local coffee in the room which was delicious, as well as assorted teas! Everything was clean and the bed and many pillows were so comfy. The rocking chairs on the porch were heaven, great way to start the morning drinking a cup of coffee or a great way to end the evening with a glass of wine! lights turn on at dark to illuminate the porch and its so pretty! I am really more of a hot breakfast person, BUT I KNEW this was contitnental going it and I'm just happy to have any breakfast to start the day, so I don't have to go look for it. If you really love eggs, then go to Great Eggs for lunch and have an amazin breakfast burrito for lunch and that solves that problem. I thought the price for this place was really reasonable, given so many hotels are well over 200 and don't offer near the amentities this place does. Also, downtown lake geneva can get really crowded and loud, this place is about a 15 minute walk from downtown, so close to the action, but in a QUIET neighborhood. it is a tiny hill on the way up, but you can walk if you want to. i love it here and would recommend to anyone. We stayed in the Bainbridge and it was awesome!

We just returned from a short getaway to Lake Geneva 8/24-8/26 and stayed at Seven Oaks. The single cottages are large, nicely decorated, and very clean. Beds were comfy, large bathrooms with two person jacuzzi tub and large separate shower. Really enjoyed the daily breakfast picnic baskets, which were tasty and more then enough food. They change them up a little daily, but have milk, cereal, pastry, eggs, oj, apple juice, etc. Also some soda and waters for the first day, with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers. The thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Wow, I just got enough from a long weekend at this B&B, and I can't say enough good things about it! The "rooms" were huge - they were actually like little houses, complete with porches and a tiny kitchen area with a mini fridge and microwave. The king bed was comfortable, and the body nozzles in the showers and bathtub with jets (and complimentary bath salts!) were much appreciated. The breakfast had so much food, as well. The location was great. It feels quiet and far back from the immediate main road, but you were a 10-20 minute walk to anywhere you could want to go in Lake Geneva. It was pricey to stay here, but worth every penny. I will definitely be back

My wife and I were looking for a quiet cozy romantic getaway where we could go for Valentines Day... We could it with Seven Oaks in Lake Geneva. We never have experienced heated bathroom floors before where we stayed... We enjoyed the great continental breakfast that you carried to the cottage we stayed overnight at so much.

My wife and I stayed with Seven Oaks this February 2021 for four wonderful nights. This B & B comprises of 13 individual units. All of the units you may view online through their website. We stayed at the Windsor, and simply put we did not want to leave. The unit was absolutely spotless. We were greeted with a tray of fruit, crackers and a bottle of cava (per our request). Each morning we had a delicious breakfast delivered to our unit. It differed each day. By example a quiche, pastry, juices, fresh fruit, cereal etc. The unit will be cleaned daily if you request. We did not, but the trash and recycles were taken daily. The unit had a very comfortable king bed. The bathroom had heated floors, heated towel rack, large shower, and a two person jacuzzi tub. A gas fireplace in the living room made things cozy. A large television above the fireplace with ample cable choices. If you have any concerns in this Covid era, then set those aside with your visit to Seven Oaks. They have arranged for everything to be contactless. Any communication we had with staff they were masked. The location is a short half mile walk to downtown Lake Geneva. Safe walk at all hours. The staff at Seven Oaks is welcoming. A special thanks to Helen who was most gracious. We are definitely going to plan another visit in the Fall.

My husband and I just completed our long weekend getaway at Seven Oaks. I am so pleased with our decision to stay here! A beautiful, clean, and private cottage awaited us when we arrived. Pictures don’t do this place justice! Everything was updated and well kept, not one subtle hint of worry entered my ever anxious brain in regards to how clean things were, I’m not sure how everyone else works but when I enter a standard hotel even with the best of ratings I feel a little uneasy and question the cleanliness of things but not here! We enjoyed our private porch every evening with the soothing sound of crickets and the twinkling of the Edison bulbs adorning the roofline. We opted for daily cleaning and came home to a tidied space, clean dishes, fresh towels, a nicely made bed, and a fresh breakfast basket left in the fridge for the next morning, our personal belongings untouched. I could have lived the rest of my life in our little Askrigg cottage! Hands down will come back again even if we skipped all of Lake Geneva activities and spent a quiet weekend alone. Stop searching and book here! I’m telling everyone I know.

Seven Oaks offers a separate lodging experience for a couple or a group of couples who want to get away from home with a group of friends during the pandemic, but remain socially distant. Each cottage offers a host of amenities: A hearty breakfast brought to your room, coffee and a coffee maker, a spa tub for two, TV, free wifi, microwave and small fridge. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the king size beds are comfy, and the front porches offer a place to read or just relax. And the best part is the outdoor gathering area, where four or five couples can share a mean and still say socially distance from each other. There is a large table, two bars to sit at, and several overstuffed chairs and lounging furniture. It's close enough to Lake Geneva to stroll through the downtown or take the path around the lake, or to remain at the B and B and ignore the town. Plenty of great restaurants nearby to order take out.

We stayed over New Year Eve 2020-2021. Our stay was perfect! As always the staff was attentive and helpful but not intrusive. They have adapted to covid well, there was no contact check-in, the key was left in our room. Our breakfast was left in the frig upon arrival and our next day's breakfast was dropped off at noon. The room is clean and comfortable. This is the only place we stay when we visit Lake Geneva and it will continue to be our secret getaway spot.

I have a mixed review. We loved the cottage feel and that these sit off of the busy streets. Great little mini kitchen. Wonderful bathrooms with whirlpool tub, heated floors, robes, and warm towels. Nice living room and furniture for some relaxation time and plenty of channels to watch a show or movie. A continental foods basket was delivered to be enjoyed in the morning. Pretty quiet overall, except that it turns out ours was a duplex and we could hear ppl walking around and talking. And one morning we heard mowers about 8:15am.
For those Interested, these are in a small loop. With the last duplex directly in front of what looks like the owners residence. There is no privacy for the front porch of the Ascot at all since the owners home is just a few steps away from that porch and cottage entrance. A lattice or other privacy panel would help add some privacy to these cottage porches for those who want to enjoy the porch rockers. There are a few that are not duplexes. A couple of other things that would be nice additions: more hooks to hang our robes, sweaters, bags etc in the bedroom/bath, and a full length mirror. A small toaster would be perfect as we had a box of pop tarts with us. There was a bag of local coffee grounds provided for us but no Instructions on how much water/how many cups the little bag was supposed to make so unfortunately ours tasted weak when we made it.
We were there more than one morning and the breakfast was yogurt, milk, juice, fruit, cereal, a bread and one day included quiche. There was also our drink of choice and cheese & cracker tray there when we arrived.
We would like to say we would stay again, and we may, but we have young grandchildren near by and after we booked we figured out that children are not welcome to come to this property. So, if we were to spend the day at the lake and wanted to come back here to rest or have lunch, unfortunately we could not do that with our grandkids.
Sorry for the long review but this gives details that we did not find prior to booking.
Overall a nice stay for us. But although we frequent this area, it is not likely a future stay.

Thank you so much for your review and we are happy that you mostly enjoyed your stay with us. We do list on our website under the cottage name , if the cottage is a stand alone or an attached cottage, so that guests can see that ahead of time and are always happy to answer questions and suggest a different cottage , if this is not what they are looking for and we do also offer 7 stand alone cottages. We do however, appreciate your suggestions. Unfortunately because of bed and breakfast fire laws, we cannot offer a toaster , oven or open flame devices in the kitchenettes, only the microwave and fridge. Our delicious locally roasted Lake Geneva Roastery Coffee is served in a single serving pouch, so is meant to be used for one pot, or less water if a guests prefers a stronger brew. We do also mention on our website that we are a 21+ facility and if grandparents would like their grandchildren to pay them a visit , that is not a problem - we do love children ! We do however strive to offer a serene and relaxing atmosphere , especially for those guests that have children or are in need of a relaxing getaway. Thank you again for your detailed review, we do really appreciate the time taken and the details offered.

We just checked out of the Wimbledon cottage this morning after two delightful days/nights at the Seven Oaks. The owners have thought of absolutely everything, from a bottle of wine and cheese/fruit tray upon check in, to the delicious breakfast baskets delivered to our fridge each day. We have had to cancel our big vacation plans due to COVID-19 like so many others, but just wanted to get away for a couple of days. The precautions taken by the staff made us feel safe and very comfortable. The cottage is the perfect size for two people, and it had a jacuzzi tub for two, and an amazing multi head shower. We enjoyed an evening glass of wine and breakfast in the morning on our front porch in comfortable rocking chairs, with a beautiful view. Downtown Lake Geneva is a pleasant 10 minute walk, with several outdoor dining options available. We also enjoyed a long walk along the Lake Shore path. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you want some peace and quiet in your immediate surroundings. We liked it so much we have booked a weekend in December so we can check out Lake Geneva during the holidays!

No pool. Short drive to lake
There are ashtrays on each porch for this purpose. But strictly forbidden within the cottage and the windows to the cottage must remain closed to the porch area while smoking. Thank you for the inquiry
