I stayed in room 17 on the second floor. The room is a good size and has a large lounge chair as well. The king size bed was comfortable, but the cover seemed a bit dated. The bathroom area seemed clean and had plenty of room for use. The shower had very good water pressure and did not take long for hot water to come. The room has a small microwave oven that had seen better days and a mini refrigerator. overall, the room seemed clean, but it didn't have the feel of a room that had been sanitized for covid. For instance, the TV remote was not in any type of wrapper, which I have seen in other hotels. I do not know if the room had been unoccupied before me, but the motel did not seem to be full at night, so possibly. There was a built-in room heater available that was absolutely needed. When I first entered the room, it was extremely cold. I found that the reason was that there was a large gap in the door seal that was allowing the January air leak right into the room. The motel needs to correct this for their guests (and for their own electricity bill, I would imagine). There was no one available at the front office for checkout at 10am, but there was a key drop just outside its door. This doesn't seem very secure to me, but it is what it is.

Geneva Wells Motel is definitely no frills but it is safe and clean, has comfortable beds, a nice pool, and very friendly owners. It is also only a few minutes drive from downtown Lake Geneva. I was there several nights during the week and the price was a good deal. My only complaint is that the room smelled quite strongly of cleaning supplies (lysol or pine sol?) Upon arrival. I would recommend to the owners to change brands so the rooms smell better (lavender or some other natural scent).

Best affordable property in Lake Geneva. Room includes a microwave, small fridge, nice bedding, good bath products, large screen tv , multi plug charging strip. Theres a pool on the property and a picnic set which is perfect for outdoor eating.

Their thing is their rooms, for this price we got very clean and spacious rooms. We heard they have recently, in the past year or so, renovated their rooms, so that's what we went for. Outside is nothing to brag about, just parking and a simple motel like structure. Check in was super easy. Family run and well managed I would say.

My wife and I travel a lot and this is the cleanest hotel I have seen. Very friendly atmosphere! Plus it cheap! Rare find. The rooms appeared to be freshly remodeled. Very quiet and located about a mile from downtown. Definatly will stay here again

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Dan the manager very friendly and good customer service. Super clean & big outdoors swimming pool nice setup by pool. The room I have king kitchenette was clean and comfortable and its right by pool overall we had great stay and we definitely will come again.

Stayed here for memorial day weekend and I can't say enough about this place. It is NOT a motel... It has accommodations like a 4 star hotel. New hardwood floors, modern furnishings, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was big and comfy but above all the staff went above and beyond. The owner and his wife were super friendly and accommodating and saw to it that our stay was everything we were looking for. The cleaning staff was professional and there was NO early morning dreaded knocks for housekeeping. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend this place.

they make you feel not welcome as stated by other reviews they watch you like a hawk there rooms are dated they treat there friends better then there guest example we were in the pool and the owner complained about our drinks in the pool so we got out and went to the patio 15 minutes later his friends show up long be hold there drinking in the pool did he say nothing nope second day they complained about us being noisy on the patio wow is it my vacation or there's we wanted to leave but every hotel was booked for the holiday weekend they pulled the same thing about being full but place was dead empty when we got there as stated in past reviews by other pepole and be careful about your reviews as one of the reviews they will file a lawsuite

Since you have been leaving extremely negative feedback on every online forum, I'm certain that you have noticed that the majority of our reviews are quite positive.We are not perfect, but we care and were in this business because we genuinely like people and want them to have a great experience here. We are a small family owned motel, we take pride in our property and also the comfort of our guests. As stated in rebuttal to all of your other negative reviews, we apologize that you did not enjoy yourself during your stay. The rules for the pool are mandated by the state, and in order to maintain licensing, we must follow them. Food and beverages are not allowed in the pool enclosure. We very politely asked your group to keep the noise down at 11:45pm because we received complaints from other guests with small children about the noise your group was making. I apologize if this ruined your good time. We have to consider the comfort of all of our guests, not the few who want to stay up and party. You and your group stayed for 3 nights with us, if at anytime you felt that you did not want to stay here,whatever the reason, you were free to check out, its not a hostage situation. Since July we have had to endure your profanity and your hate campaign against our business, and your libelous online attacks on us personally. Please stop the hate.

I visit Lake Geneva at least twice a month during the summer months and I've been to almost all the hotels and motels there and I have to say that now this is my favorite place and in my opinion the best. It has a big swimming pool surrounded by trees and a peacefully atmosphere of a fresh breeze and the sounds of nature . The new management is doing an amazing job keeping this place very very clean. The rooms are very clean and you they pay very close attention to details. Unlike the rest of the motels in Lake Geneva the rooms at Geneva Wells are not smelly and beds have new sheets and covers and pillows . The price is very affordable. The only thing I hate about going to this place is having to leave and go back to Chicago. I went last weekend with my wife and my baby and had a had a wonderful time there. I recommend Room 12 that has a nice balcony :)
