3 of our families stay there last week for the 1st time. It was a great vacation with clean houses and sandy beach. There's free use of paddleboards, kayaks, firewood for the firepit & wifi. There's volleyball, pingpong and a trampoline raft. It's 3 miles to the grocery store and casino. You need to see their videos on their website. I highly recommend this place.

Timber Bay Resort is a fun and relaxing place to go. Nestled in a cove on White Sand Lake your options are endless. Boating, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing or sitting on the beach or by the fire pit reading a book. Accommodations are nice but not fancy. The resort managers, Sean and Darcy, go out of their way to be helpful and make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway here. The area is beautiful and, while some local attractions were still closed due to the season and/or covid, there was still plenty to enjoy. The cabin was very up to date inside without losing it's charm. All of the appliances and amenities were modern and the cabin was quite well taken care of.

We have stayed at Oakwood several times now and love how cozy it is with beach access. We have never experienced anything negative being there. Has always been clean and comfortable. We always are so busy on the lake or in town that we come back, eat dinner and pass out. We have been outside at night in the summer as well and have always enjoyed it. You can’t beat watching the sun come up on White Sand Lake. We will continue to come up year after year and stay at Oakwood. Thank you Shaun and Krista for inviting us.

I have been vacationing at Timberbay Resort for better than 20 years and had the opportunity to spend time in all but 2 of the cabins that Sean and Darcy have to offer.
Each cabin has its own personality and it would be very hard to pick out a favorite.Over the years we were able to see the renovations and upgrades to each cabin. The effort and personal touch the McEnroe's put forth shows exactly what kind of people they are.
I have enjoyed the Summer and the Fall seasons, and decided to bring some friends up during March to enjoy late Winter and what Northern Wisconsin has to offer. Needless to say, my friends and I have celebrated our March Madness up at Timberbay for close to two decades. Our cabins were always clean. If we needed something, Sean and Darcy were most accommodating and extremely helpful. Mother Nature gives her best in the views of the lake and surrounding area. Wisconsin's Paradise for sure! Older, younger, and in between. Timberbay will create memories for all to enjoy.

Timber Bay Resort is unlike any other resort I have ever stayed at. The owners are some of the most friendly people you will ever meet. The cleanliness of the cabins and facilities are extraordinary! There is something about Timber Bay Resort that just makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a memorable experience to share with friends or loved ones, Timber Bay Resort is where memories last a lifetime.

Amazing family owned resort! Beautiful cabins with recent renovations. Gorgeous beach! The lake is crystal clear, eagles everywhere and the best sunrise/sunsets in the world! If you have kids, you have got to try Timber Bay for a summer get away!

Timber Bay is a great place to stay if you like the the outdoors, but don't want to sleep in a tent. Our cabin was very clean and had all the modern conveniences (including a dishwasher) that allowed us all to have a bit of a break for the week.

This is really a great place for families. There is a sandy beach with lounge chairs and plenty of childrens games and floaties, as well as kayaks, a paddle boat and canoe. Personally, I sat in the sun for most of the week and relaxed. One son could have spent the week in the kayak though, while the other was happy just jumping into the lake from the huge trampoline. My husband isn't a fisherman, but we saw plenty of other men who were (sometimes they even had caught something!)

The owners Sean and Darcy were very friendly and happy to help you with anything. They've owned Timber Bay since 2000 and have been doing a lot of work to bring up the standards.

We had a really good week at Timber Bay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a week away in Wisconsin.

I have been staying at the Timber Bay Resort for the better part of ten years . Sean and Darcy are gracious hosts and make you feel welcome. I have stayed in multiple cabins and have witnessed many improvements and updates throughout the years including the newly built cabins. Each has it's own personality and all equally comfortable. The fishing is great and campfires at night are always enjoyable. I wouldn't be doing this review justice without giving a plug for Lake Placid Restaurant. Best breakfast anywhere! Thank you Sean and Darcy for providing the perfect getaway for all to enjoy.

We were fortunate enough to rent a cabin for the winter months this year, November through April. The owners, Sean and Darcy, encouraged us to check out the other cabins as most of them were empty during the winter season. The cabins are very clean, modern, and have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Unlike cabins in other resorts we have visited, these have running water, bathrooms, television, and Internet access. It's obvious Sean and Darcy take pride in their resort. They are available anytime and do their best to make your stay here a memorable experience. Access to Sand Lake is on resort grounds. There is a large covered boat dock. Fishing is great and the lake is large enough for water sports. Located in a quiet area but close to shopping and tourist activities. Lake of The Torches Casino is a ten minute ride down the road. Snowmobile trails abound in the area. This is a great resort to visit anytime of the year.

"The cedarwood cabin sleeps 7, but it would be tight with only one small bathroom. All cabins are beautiful, with awesome views of the lake."
