After a split second decision, my husband and I decided to take a relaxing trip to La Crosse. We came across the Bentley-Wheeler B&B in our search and were very impressed. Reserving our room took a few seconds, everything was as described and allowed us to do the relaxing we had hoped for. We had the opportunity to meet the...

I've stayed at the Bentley-Wheeler twice now, and both times have been awesome. Jay and Ken are really cool guys and great hosts. On my most recent trip, I booked the guest suite. They ended up having a cancellation from whoever was supposed to rent their guest house for those days, so they upgraded us to the entire guest house...

Loved the hands off style of this B&B. The breakfast basket instead of a formal dining room experience was right what we needed for our trip. The accommodations are superb and exquisite and not cluttered with the wonderful antiques. We are looking for another opportunity to return when we can stay longer and enjoy the space more.

My husband and I chose this B & B as we were in town to visit our son at UW-La Crosse for family weekend. We stayed in the Guest Suite. Comfy bed, flat screen TV , cute enclosed porch, large bathroom, lovely sounds of the fountain throughout the night through the open windows, continental breakfast delivered to our door by...

Our stay was truly magical. The stately room was a flashback in time and waking up to a fresh basket of breakfast goodies every morning really sealed the deal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting La Crosse.

We were in town to see our son at UWLAX. We booked this room due to the kitchen, we wanted to cook a home cooked meal for him. The room is the top floor of the stately home, it really is a ballroom complete with an organ! The kitchen had everything needed to cook with. Each morning we received a...

We enjoyed a relaxing night at this beautiful B & B for our wedding anniversary. The house is gorgeous, breakfast was delicious, and Jay made sure we were very comfortable. The location was great for us, as we were able to walk downtown for a concert and dinner. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee on the big covered porch. Thank...

We stayed in the Guest House during our stay of a couple of days. The location was great for us, we were in town for college move in and wanted to be close to campus and downtown which both destinations were super quick drive or just a nice walk to downtown or a longer walk to campus. The Guest House...

What a great place. Jay went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. Whenever you needed something they would magically appear to help. Nothing seemed to inconvenience them. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and the main house and guest house are beautiful. We used it as our home base during my daughters wedding weekend....

We had a family reunion here taking up the entire guest house and two rooms in the main house. The rooms and bathrooms were all very nice. The guest house had 7 adults and six children staying in it and we had lots of room to gather, eat, and play games. Breakfast is provided in baskets. The guest house received...

“I don't see how you could go wrong with any of them. I had the 'fireplace room' which has the slight drawback of not having it's own ensuite bathroom- I had to walk down the hall a bit but I did not mind that at all, it gave me another opportunity to admire the gorgeous staircase and pretend I lived there!”
